Taco Bell

I never eat fast food, especially Taco Bell, but my husband and I decided to stop and try the A.M. Crunchwrap yesterday because it was free. I’m SUPREMELY grateful we didn’t pay for them. I got the steak and my husband got the California. Neither one was very good. The steak tasted like flavorless, processed «meat» chunks. And it was greasy. The only redeeming part was the hashbrown that I could take out of it and eat. The California was not much better. It was supposed to have guacamole throughout the whole wrap, but it was concentrated in one spot, so he got his last 3 bites with ONLY guacamole. And it’s not a very good guac. Needless to say, we tried and won’t ever again.

The 2 stars is because it is Taco Bell after all, you kind of know what you are in for. The staff is always very pleasant and friendly. I have however noticed on asking for quesoritto’s lately … that they have upped the spicing in them to volcanic. The last batch had me in distress for days. They are usually OK. (tasty and mildly spiced) but damn… it was like that last batch had ghost peppers in them. Beware if that would be an issue for you.

This place is ok for like drunks at night to eat (like White Castles), broke college students or folks wanting Mexican food on the cheap — which is basically what this food is – cheap Mexican food. The biggest problem with this place is that this place is crazy stupid slow — even when they’re not that busy and have like 3 – 4 people inside and like 2 cars in the drive through. I don’t get WHY they’re so slow, even when they’re not that busy in here. The food is tasty, but is worth the wait, if you don’t feel like paying a lot for food — Mexican or otherwise, but be prepared to wait for it, even if the restaurant is slow when you’re there.

This place just sucks a#s. Horrible. Granted, I usually go there way too late hoping that I will, for once, get my actual order, as ordered, BUT that is probably my own fault. And even if I did — I’d regret it the next day, BUT — this place is just HORRIBLE. I swear to gahd I have been there after work maybe say… oh… idk… 9 times? and late at night maybe 10 times? And each and every time they have screwed up my order. I’m not lying — I swear, every time they screw it up usually shorting me items or over-​charging — i don’t really care… it is just crazy to me that you can screw up an order that consists of say «3 crunchy tacos — beef, and a chalupa supreme» — how? Seriously, how do you screw that up and hand out one crunchy taco and … ah screw it — you get what you pay for I guess… but it is just mind-​boggling to me… I get it, weed is not evil BUT don’t do it when you are supposed to be supplying people with simple orders and are not capable of carrying it out… SMFH. Even during the day they screw up the majority of orders… I just don’t get it — I almost think that Taco Bell uses it as some sort of bizarre experiment dealing with how much ineptitude an individual can deal with without losing their fkin minds… OH — and the other thing that bugs me…, they claim EVERY night that they «ran out of shredded chicken» — seriously — I have no idea what it takes to keep shredded chicken going at a taco bell but it is obviously a lie… come on — if you run out 3 weeks in a row then one might assume that you would make sure you have the resources you need right??? Nope — not this location… damn, idk if I feel dumber for even reviewing a taco-​bell or just angry because of how bad they screw things up on a regular basis…

Okay Taco Bell seriously? I’m embarrassed that I have visited this location in a close enough time frame that I am a regular. Today when I went to pick up some quick food before I went to get my kids, my quick stop turned into a 25 minute ordeal. Wtf??? Did they have to make the tortillas by hand?
This location is just so bad! Sorry but the only reason I come here is because it’s on my way out.
Think twice before visiting if your looking for a «quick» thing!

Taco Bell is okay for when it’s needed. I don’t think many of them can get above a three star review because it is Taco Bell. Usually a good after bar stop I wanted to try their new breakfast waffle taco. It was okay. Really kinda what you would think that it would be. They had these icing filled Cinnabon things that were excellent. The place is mostly clean. The staff is friendly… A little eager to get me to fill out their survey. All and all I wanna try another breakfast item when I have the chance.

This location is horrible. The picture of the taco with hardly any meat on it is about what you get every time you go there. Good luck… The taco I took a picture of and posted was the best one out of the order I just got.

2 stars, and I’m being generous because I love taco bell. I refer to this location as a half– way house because the employees are so sketchy. They’re friendly but seem pretty concerned about taking smoke breaks out back. Maybe I’m expecting too much. They get the job done and have never done anything to me so maybe I’m being a little unfair here but you’ll see what I mean if you go here– which you should do only if you’ve got a very particular craving for taco bell. It happens. Despite my low opinion of this location it will meet and fulfill your craving for 4^th Meal or lunch or dinner.
The food is good– standard taco bell. I’ve eaten at other locations and gotten sloppily prepared food but I don’t remember that ever happening here. Why the 2 stars then? Because the dining room is usually dirty, the napkin/​pop dispenser is usually dirty, and they once told me they did not accept $ 50 bills. What on earth? You don’t accept money? Legal tender backed by the fill faith and credit of the Federal Government? Maybe the owner supports a gold standard… Ron Paul 2012, right?! Well… until then I’m going to expect cash money to be good to pay my debts. I doubt they would have accepted gold or silver but I didn’t ask. They take smaller bills and credit and debit cards, so it didn’t get that far.
Anyway…
The slow prep time also warrants 2 stars. Taco Bell often gives you a short wait and calls your ticket number when it is ready. That happens here, too but the wait has been far, far too long on one or two occasions.
Eat here if you just want Taco Bell– dont let this review stop you– but avoid it if you’re indifferent about your food choice because you’ll have a better experience elsewhere.
