Food was good, but u would think they would have given her a discount since they splattered her w salad dressing or a free dessert. Smh

First time having lunch here. Had a soup and salad combo which was excellent. Portion size perfect as well as price. Better value than other restaurants in town. Service was very efficient as they always are. I eat dinner here frequently. I gave never been disappointed.

Well, we decided to try again. Although the restaurant has made some improvements(menus are no longer sticky, most employees were smiling, food was adequate, etc.) the place still has room to improve. The floors, for example, were littered with trash. I actually watched as a server wiped the paper wrappers from his table on to the floor and then walk away without picking them up. The service is still a bit slow– it took 15 minutes just to get our server to come over and greet us to take drink orders. But the food was good, and the drinks were cold. So, minimally better on the part of Long Horn. Still not a place I would frequent.

My dining experience was awesome! I had the perfect margarita. shaken not stirred. .and it came in its own shaker on the rocks. I had the sampler which included fried shrimp, grilled mushrooms, and a chicken rolled stuffed with cheese. Everything was tasty and brought out promptly. All items were cooked thoroughly and served fresh and hot. I will definitely be going back again.

the steak here had little to no flavor. the mushrooms were way to salty. Usually this place isn’t as bad as it was this time I ate. the one good part here were the appetizers. the appetizers were tasty and was nit too overwelming

This was my first dining experience at a Longhorn restaurant ever and unfortunately I was not impressed. I decided on the Steak salad. The steak, other than being overcooked, was partially sliced midway through the steak, which required too much carving work for a salad. To make matters worst, the waiter didn’t bring me a steak knife and never came back to check on us for me to ask. The salad was way too leafy and also not chopped up very well. I guess my advice is to not get the salad… or the steak… but this is a steakhouse… Good Luck!

OMG that steak though. I know, I know. It is a chain and can be a little kitschy… but that is why I LOVE it here! As a horse girl, there’s nothing that makes me happier than seeing bridles, saddles, and anything horse related all over the wall. And STEAK! Did I mention steak? This is the perfect fusion of my two favorite things in the whole entire world — horses and steak. If I could wake up, eat a steak, go ride my horse, and then come home and eat a steak again, that would be my perfect day. Oh wait, you just described every weekend of my laugh. Kidding, kinda. But LongHorn, you’ve done good, my friend. You’ve done good.

My first dining experience here was with a Unilocal group, and we were treated like royalty. The steaks are EXCELLENT here. They do these well. The appetizers are very typical junk food: fried stuff, goopy cheese, etc. My advice? Get a good drink(they have local craft beers on tap), a steak, a green vegetable, and split the lemon blueberry cake with your table. Our second visit was okay, more along the lines of a better chain restaurant. I didn’t like being seated right by the restrooms, and our server was new to the restaruant– and possibly to serving. She did fine, but was very soft spoken and had a worrying submissive posture. The drinks took a moment, but once we got those, everything was smooth sailing. She was sweet, and our order came out correct. My husband hesitantly ordered a lemon blueberry cake for the table, and it was gone in under a minute!

I had not been to a Longhorn Steakhouse in at least a decade. I wasn’t sure why exactly I hadn’t gone, but I just never thought«I’m craving Longhorn.» Years went by until eventually, my girlfriend went for an event and told me how great it was, and how we needed to go together soon. A week thereafter, we went, and lordy I’m glad I did! I walked in and saw a casual western environment that was greatly to my liking. It was clean, lively, and packed. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who gave us a buzzer to inform us on when our seat would be ready, but then would still call people’s names. Perhaps the buzzers were broken, but beside the point. We were eventually seated and greeted by a very friendly waitress. She was exceptionally attentive to all of our dining needs and made us feel quite welcome. We started off with our drinks and bread; the bread actually was rather unappetizing so I didn’t have any more than a bite(this is their one low point in my book). We then got the crab dip, which was absolutely amazing. Next came our meals. I decided to go all in and get the ribeye bleu cheese crusted with a sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. This meal was quite fantastic; especially for the price point. I was quite pleased with the juiciness and tenderness of the steak, and the potato was also solid. For dessert, we got the lemon-blueberry cake. The flavors were very well balanced and made for a great dessert. Frankly, I’d come back time and time again just for that dessert; it’s that good. The crowning achievement though was having the manager come by on multiple occasions to converse with us and truly make us feel welcome and taken care of. Needless to say, I will be back here in the(very) near future.

Sometimes I want a steak with out fancy pretention, if you do too this is your spot. If appetizers are your thing, and they are mine, I recommend the crab dip and corn fritters — so good! Of course, bread and salad comes with the meal and its nice too, I has forgotten how much I love the homemade ranch dressing. Each steak comes with one side, I personally feel an obligation to get a baked potato — it’s just what goes together! With my filet, which was very tender, I had the house sauce. I’m not usually one for a steak sauce but this one was different and added some nice flavors. For dessert, I really enjoyed the lemon cake which surprised me as I’m usually a chocolate girl. The cake is light, fluffy and lacks the overpowering lemon most lemon desserts have — perfect. The staff here is exceptionally friendly which is always important to me. The décor is very Texas. It can get a bit loud as the interior is essentially one giant room and the lights are bright. This I’d not your quiet, dimly lit fancy steak place and that’s ok. The prices are reasonable considering the cuts of steak but be prepared to spend about $ 60 with tax and tip for two.

I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago at a Unilocal event(which was great — thanks, Joelle!). Of the 4 appetizers presented(Crab and Artichoke dip with flatbread, Corn fritters, Spicy Chicken Bites, and Wild West Shrimp) — by far and away the best was the Crab and Artichoke Dip — it was scrumptious! The corn fritters were good, as was the shrimp. The chicken bites were only so-so, in my opinion. My main entrée was the Outlaw Ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection and had a good flavor. I learned from the manager that the steak chefs only have a 4% return rate to be redone — so obviously they’re good and know how to cook a steak. The Steakhouse Mac and Cheese was recommended to me, but were I to do it over I would have chosen the asparagus. There was nothing wrong with the Mac and cheese — it’s just that a table mate had asparagus and it looked delicious. For dessert I sampled the Chocolate Stampede and the Blueberry Lemon Butter cake. Both were good, but if I had to only choose one it would be the lemon butter cake. Service was excellent, and unlike some other steak houses you don’t have to worry about peanuts being all over the floor! I don’t get to Collierville often, but will definitely try the LongHorn in Bartlett, which is nearer my home.

My parents live in Collierville, and go here probably once a month. I’m not a huge steak person, but I had the great honor of attending an event here. The staff was incredible. The food was incredible. I’m in a wedding this weekend and thought I’d be able to be disciplined. Psh. Their crab and artichoke dip absolutely ruined that notion! Actually, everything they let us try ruined that notion :). To start off, they brought us a few appetizers to try. Like I stated above, their new crab and artichoke dip was amazing. I’m also a sucker for seafood. The second app was spicy chicken bites. Those were fantastic too. Last was the Wild West shrimp. I was a sucker for those as well, but I’m not super into fried food! Overall, that artichoke and crab dip had me coming back for more :)! For an entrée I got the salmon! It came with rice and asparagus. It wasn’t anything too special, but it definitely got the job done! We also had the honor of tasting two of their desserts, the chocolate stampede and the blueberry lemon butter cake. The blueberry lemon butter cake was light and pretty tasty, but I’m a chocolate lover. The chocolate stampede is a dessert on steroids. Make sure you leave room for it, it’s huge, but oh my goodness it is wonderful! The staff was very sweet and on their A game the entire time, especially Terri! I now know why this is a go to place for my parents out in Collierville.

Two of us ordered steak and had an appetizer. The appetizer was huge, and tasted great. Our steaks were made just how they were ordered. Service was slow at first but picked up throughout the evening.

If I had written this review one, even, two years ago it would be totally different. This is one of my Dad’s favorite places to eat so we have been here many times(if you let him choose he can’t bitch about the experience). The past three visits have been the pits! Longhorn Steakhouse used to be the closest, best bet for a really good meal without being overly pricey and pretentious… You could count on a good meal and good service previous to the last 6 months or so. The last three visit’s you could see a visible decline in everything food, staff, and cleanliness. I am not sure what has happened but the last meal was just ugh… terrible… See pictures of my last visit for my overcooked steak and then its raw replacement. The Chowder which is normally good was very watery, like it had been changed. The wifeys Prime Rib looked terrible… Blah! I am sure I will be back because of the Pop’s but I hope to find a better experience when I do so I can give an updated review with some positives!

I have never experienced such slow service in a restaurant before. Waited over 5 minutes before waitress came to get our drink order, then waited even longer for her to come back and we had to catch her to give our appetizer order! Have been waiting over 20 minutes for our steaks… not a special order steak either… medium rare! Will not be coming back here or recommending it either.

I decided to pop in for a late lunch. I sat in a booth in the bar. The server greeted me immediately and took my beverage order with a smile and cheerful attitude. I had a delicious ground sirloin in graveyard with a baked potato. The restaurant appeared clean. The food was good. The service was efficient.

This place has gone from my favorite restaurant to my least favorite restaurant in a matter of three visits. I would go into the details of how they sabotaged my love for them, but let’s just say raw steaks and rare steaks have a pretty big difference between them, and you shouldn’t have to explain that to the multiple staff members that come to your table to try to figure out what is wrong when you ordered it well done… I can no longer recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Meh is exactly how my husband and I described it. Our waitress was very sweet but our food took a long time for a place that wasn’t busy. Nothing noteworthy about the food. I’m also very wary of any steakhouse that will not cook a steak burger medium rare. Right now my husband I are glad we have 2 bathrooms. :/

A good choice for a family friendly steak house with a cute cowboy décor. Our servers were friendly and accommodating. The mushroom truffle soup was a bit salty and the salad was not as deluxe as Texas Roadhouse but the steaks were better and cooked correctly. I enjoyed the prime rib and they seared the edge to give it a seasoned flavor. Plain baked sweet potato was delicious and perfect for my autumn craving. On a side note their takeout is also good. Pick up in the bar and the portions are exactly the same as dine in. On busy nights they do offer call ahead seating.

LongHorn Steakhouse, where do I start? Okay, I’ll start from the beginning. I am honestly not a fan of franchise/chain restaurants unless they are very good ones so my review will be graded on a curve of how I rate this chain restaurant to other chain restaurants and not restaurants overall. On a random Friday night, I decided to drop in here. Unfortunately, it was extremely packed. I am not a fan for waiting longer than an hour to be seated. I ended up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes. In my opinion, the waiting area was way too small for the amount of people waiting. It doesn’t take much for this area to become jammed packed because I’ve come here on a regular Thursday night and it was very crowded in the waiting area. The food here is good. I have no complaints about that, nor do I have any about the service. Both are good. The restaurant is very clean and nice and the staff is very accommodating. I tried a new dish here that I haven’t tried before and I must say that it was pretty darn good. The chicken feta entrée was pretty awesome. It is a chicken breast baked with fresh spinach, red peppers and feta cheese toppings. I had the grilled asparagus with it as well and that was pretty good also. I will say that I enjoyed my visit here and would definitely come back hopefully it’s not as crowded the next time.
