My husband and I went to Firebirds to celebrate my promotion. I am from Charlotte NC where the chain was started and was ecstatic to learn there is one in the mid-south. There was somewhat of a wait but it was Friday night so I will make reservations in the future. We ordered the seared Ahi Tuna as an appetizer. The spicy mustard compliments the tuna perfectly. My husband ordered the Prime Rib. He said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. He couldn’t be more happy. I ordered the Citrus Grilled Chicken. Chicken was nice and juicy. Dry chicken is the worst. Both of our sides were outstanding. For dessert we splurged and got the Crème Brûlée cheesecake. It was heaven on earth. I could eat one everyday. The service was on point. Our waitress’s attitude was very pleasant and helpful. You could really tell that she enjoyed her job. I would give this place six stars if I could. That is how incredible our experience was. I cannot wait for another reason to celebrate or just have a nice dinner with my husband!

It was super delicious as usual. Went for my wife’s birthday. Prime rib was excellent! The lobster spinach queso was a great app. Waitress was nice, but a little scarce. Desert was good. Had the bananas foster cheese cake. Would recommend.

Wow!!! Talk about great service! I had a wonderful dinner with my hubs at Firebirds. We were greeted kindly by the hostess as we entered and we were quickly seated. Our waitress Candace was very friendly and spunky which was refreshing. She told us the specials and quickly took our drink orders. When she returned, I asked questions about certain items on the menu and she pleasantly answered. For appetizer we ordered the ranch rings, and they were fantastic. Crisp, not greasy, and tasted very good. After that, our waitress she out the bread which tasted fine. However, it was shaped rather strangely but thats a different story lol For entrée, I ordered the citrus grilled chicken which was topped with pineapple salsa and instead of the parmesan mashed potatoes, I chose the baked potato with various toppings on the side. I thought it tasted great. The chicken was juicy and the salsa added a lot of flavor. As for the potato, you really can’t mess up a baked potato. My husband ordered the creole ny strip steak with the arugula salad(new special entrée). His feedback was that it tasted alright, but that the piece of steak could of been bigger. He also felt that since it was topped with mushrooms, they needed to add more mushrooms. Overall, Candace made sure we had a great dining experience and we sure did!

This is one of our go to restaurants. Having eaten here many times I can say that it’s a definite favorite. They have some of the best cooked steaks and friendly staff.

Not a big fan of reviewing franchises, but ‘luxury’ places I guess should be an exception. Firebirds is my brother’s favorite celebratory place to eat, so my family met up at this location for his birthday. The location itself is fantastic, situated in the Carriage Crossing shopping centre. There is plenty of parking and none of it requires you walking into the next county to retrieve your car. We had a reservation, so when we entered, we immediately spoke with the hostess to let her know we were here. The wait time for our table was minimal considering it was the dinner rush, however the hostess was pretty unfriendly. I can imagine that it was because she’s hostessing during a dinner rush, but even chain restaurants need to hire people with a better poker face. You could tell this girl hated humanity at that point. Anyway, our server was friendly, if not annoying. She made sure that we had all of our drinks, menus, silverware, etc throughout our dinner. She answered any questions we had and definitely took care of our group. It was clear she’s been working in this industry a while. I wish I could remember her name, but props to her for managing a group with a 3 year old and an 80 year old and every age in between! Food was incredible. Being a steakhouse, I had the steak and it definitely met expectations. It was perfectly cooked at my usual Medium Rare and I was impressed(apparently learning to grill to each level is not something that most chefs are trained to do these days). The vegetables were fantastic and weren’t overly seasoned. This may be a weird thing to judge a company on, but I almost always take my leftovers with me… and I tend to pass inadvertent judgement on a company if their to-go boxes are only made for full entrees. I love seeing smaller boxes or even to-go containers for soups… it’s less wasteful and I love it. Firebirds provided me with a box that just fit what I needed and nothing more. Props! Overall a really positive experience save the hostess in the beginning. If you have to go chain, this place won’t let you down!

My husband and I have been here a few times, and each time is consistently good. The service is also good. Today, our food was cooked exactly as instructed, and it was hot and delicious!

My second time here in week. My first visit last Friday was pleasant until my food arrived. The food runner gave my entrée to a couple two seats down from me who came in after me & had barely touched their salads. The gentleman took the land & sea sniffed it and sat it aside to finish his salad. Not once did the server think«maybe this isn’t there’s, they’ve barely touched the salads». So I asked the bartender where my entrée was and she discovered it wasn’t there’s as they had ordered a split. She proceeded to pick up the plate and pass it to me. I politely asked for another as it had been sniffed. She paused & frowned. I stared back. She picked up that social cue and returned that plate to the kitchen and a manager brings out two plates a little while later. Now the food… The BLT salad claims to have a garlic dressing, it’s bland. Same with the green chile Mac & cheese, it’s more chile than cheese. My second visit. I sat at the deserted bar around 1130 for lunch. I ordered the land & sea again. But this time I was asked to produce the email for the promotion. I’ve never been asked to do so before but okay. Alan took my order. I ordered my a medium steak but it was clearly well done. He offered to get me another but I didn’t have time to wait. He offered a free dessert but declined that as well. Soon a manager came over and offered a dessert I declined again and left. I know it’s a chain; overall it’s decent, but something about this location leaves me uneasy. It’s not awful but it’s not great either. Can’t quite put my finger on it.

I had the best filet cooked over wood, charred to perfection & chili to start. Wonderful. Service and staff great and the décor is so awesome huge fire place as you enter with beautiful wood and stone around it The bar was beautiful & I can’t say enough about this cool cool place. Just wish this chain wound go west to Southern California.

The day’s soup was lacking… to say the least. Once we complained about the chicken and orzo soup having two bites of chicken in it AND being bland the waitress sifted thru it to try and disprove our claim. Just rude. Manager was a piece of work too. He was going to go taste the soup… talk about questioning the customers satisfaction. Won’t be back.

Very first time at this Firebirds, it was amazing! The wait was 45 minutes to an hour, but we went to the bar for beer and cocktails to kill time. The bar setup is nice and the bartenders were very friendly. I was slightly annoyed that some people were sat before us and we were definitely there before them, but the service and food quickly made those feelings go away. Tracia was our server and she use to serve with me at another restaurant years ago, so I knew service would be a exemplary. My boyfriend and I had the lobster queso, prime rib, and ribeye… All of it was perfect! We also ended dinner with the crème brûlée cheesecake. Definitely made our night off from work, which seldom happens, a pleasant one!

Overall disappointing experience. We started by ordering drinks and our lunch. I ordered a beer and water, my wife and daughter both ordered a water with lemon. The waiter brought two waters and my beer, neither water had lemon. We had to ask for another water with lemon and the waiter acted as if it was the first request. He told us 3 or 4 times he was bringing us bread, it never came. I ordered fish tacos and the tortillas were not heated up, made the meal taste ice cold. Would not visit again.

Delicious. I ate here 2x in one day. For dinner, I had Parmesan crusted Mahi and sautéed spinach. Yum. The spinach was a bit heavy on the garlic, which made it taste slightly bitter. The fish was delicious. The beer on draught is soooooo cold! Their baked potatoes are the best ever. All in all, great drinks, apps, entrees and service.

I have come to this place on several occasions now with my girlfriend’s family or with my brother a couple times, and this place is… inconsistent. Don’t get me wrong; I have had some lovely experiences here. The servers here are always friendly, and a couple times, their peppercorn steak has been on point. There have been other times though where the steak we received was entirely too bland, and when food has been sent back and came out in the exact same condition. Management has always been kind and apologetic for these mishaps though, so they certainly get credit there; they do care about what they do. Their bread and salads here are also pretty darn awesome, so can’t knock them for that. I hope they do eventually get everything consistent soon, as I’m certain this will continue to be a spot we frequent whenever there is a big happening in the lady’s family(visitors, birthdays, etc).

This place has excellent steaks. I went basic and got the sirloin and baked potato. The sirloin was very tender and had excellent flavor. They cooked it just right. The baked potato was seasoned on the outside. It had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. I love eating the skin too and the season on outside really brought out the flavor.

My wife and I had our first Firebirds experience at this location and we are so glad that hunger struck when it did. Our first visit found us a new restaurant to be among our favorites to regular. We stopped in for a small lunch but decided to start with an appetizer as we both saw the Lobster Spinach Queso and just could not resist. The only fault we could find with the dip is that we should have ordered two it was so good. However, we’re glad we didn’t as we would have been too full to order anything else. We decided to share the main dish as we had already eaten an appitizer. Since both of us like spicy foods, probably because we are a bit spicy ourselves, we decided to share a Durango Burger. The burger was cooked to perfection and the combination of the chili, pepper jack and fried onions was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, the staff was genuine and polite and the ambiance was very pleasant. I highly recommend enjoying this establishment.

Dinner was good. I have the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and it was a nice size portion and it tasted delicious. My son got that chicken pasta that you like very much. The server was friendly and knowledgeable and courteous. The food came out relatively quickly. The restaurant was clean.

They have the best filet I have ever tasted!!! Maybe once out of a dozen times it wasn’t prepared perfectly but they didn’t hesitate to take it back and prepare a whole new meal. My favorite sides are Sautéed spinach, Green Chile Mac & Cheese, and Spiced Pecan Green Beans. Can’t go wrong with the loaded baked potato. As for drinks, one of my favs is the Flirtini! Oh and the Grilled Shrimp & Strawberry salad is yummy!

I recommend Firebirds over Ruth’s Chris any day. Every aspect is great. I always want to try an entrée other than steak, but just can’t seem to not order one. This time I went with the sirloin and added bleu cheese sauce and crumbles with a loaded baked potato. It was wonderful. The Firebirds red wine is a great value. I skipped it this trip, but the tuna appetizer is delicious. Someday I’ll try the trout! I’ll just have to have a steak first! Update: I found a bit of criticism, however small. I tried the au gratin potatoes and was not at all a fan. They seemed a bit old for lack of a better description. For a tip regarding the servers, ask for Michael. He’s a very attentive and personable guy! Although, I’ve not had bad service yet!

This place would’ve gotten 5 stars if it weren’t for my waitress/bartender. She was the worst. I had to ask for extea ketchup after a while, because she never came to check on us. I had to ask for the check because she passed the table twice and our plates were empty. Also, I asked her about this drink and she was totally confusing! On to the food — now — the food was great. My boyfriend and I gor the lobster and spinach queso dip. This queso was AMAZING! I would come back just for this dip. Now, I got the signature burger here and the fried onions + the ranch on it made this burger EVERYTHING and more. My boyfriend for the signature chicken pasta and he said it was good. I didn’t taste it but he ate it all. I’d definitely come back here in the future.
