IHOP

Came in for lunch/​dinner to go. No other people eating in the restaurant. I ordered half order strawberry banana pankcakes. I got 2 pancakes with rotten bananas no strawberries. Thanks for failing dont waste your time.

Our family loves IHOP, and they normally get pretty good reviews from us. However, this IHOP really needs some better management. We have been there twice now. We did have a very good waitress worthy of five stars the first time we were there, but even the excellent job she did couldn’t save the experience. The wait was pretty long to get seated and to pay. The place was not the cleanest. They were out of many items on the menu, and the food was slow. I also never got part of what I ordered. We gave them a second chance, but the experience was still not good. The place was still pretty run down looking. We waited even longer to get seated and to pay, even though it was not at all busy. We also waited a long time for service. The waiter was confused about some items on the menu. The food was okay, but not great. There are some other much better IHOPs in town, so if you’re craving is IHOP, I’d go to one of the other ones. If you are just looking for breakfast, there are many better options nearby.

So like Anybody else on a Saturday Morning, my wife and I came here for a delicious breakfast to satisfy our empty tummies. When we arrived we noticed that it was packed but that didn’t matter because we were seated right away. Our waitress Ashley kindly took our orders and went on her way. We waited patiently for what seemed like 15 mins when we noticed the guest that arrived after us had already gotten their food and was getting ready to leave. 20 mins go by and Ashley sweetly tells us our order should be coming out shortly. We thanked her and waited a little more. After what seemed like an eternity we again noticed guests who had received their food and getting up to leave. By then we both are starting to get anxious. Our waitress comes back again offering us some drinks, but my wife quickly put that to rest and let her know we just wanted to eat. She then left and went to the back, 5 mins go by and she is back with our food and Is apologizing profusely. We let her know that we understood and that it wasn’t her fault but she continued to apologize. After we were done eating, (food was alright but could have been better) we stayed a little longer and then got up to leave. It was a line to pay but it went by pretty fast. I understand that it gets busy sometimes but this place needs better management. If it wasn’t for Ashley we probably would have walked out and kept our money. I love IHOP but please fix a couple things.

Terrible service and the food sucked. Made me feel awful, cooks can’t cook steak to temp and it took forever to get our check even though we were clearly finished. Not even worth a star.

Food was good… but the service was slow. Had to wait to be seated and they weren’t even buzy.

Pretty much the worse iHop I ever been too. Every one was so disorganized and just lazy. We were seated at a table that was still dirty. They were nice enough to wipe the coffee off the seat but they decided we would be okay wiping the crumbs off ourselves. Server took a while to even take our drink orders. Food was decent but this place is just dirty. Next time I’ll walk across the street to Denny’s.

Really great staff and very clean location. Always a pleasant experience! can’t go wrong with pancakes.

I showed up on a Tuesday at 1:30 for a «quick lunch». The hostess was standing behind the counter and didn’t acknowledge I was there until I asked if I should just seat myself. At 1:45 a waiter took my order for the grilled chicken Cobb salad with balsamic dressing on the side. At 2 pm they brought me fried chicken. They brought it back out again with ranch on it. Brought it out a 3^rd time at about 2:15 correct. There are only 5 tables being occupied… Horrible service, bad customer interaction, loooooong wait for everything. Don’t bother eating here.

Very disappointed. We waited a very long time to have our order taken but we were nice because I felt bad for the waitress. An elderly man chewed her out because no one brought out his coffee so I was being as nice as possible out of sympathy. But to my surprise, the waiter that helped my waitress slammed our food on our table and was so hateful! I didn’t know what the food was because it wasn’t what I ordered and he said «looks like pancakes to me».
He slammed the plates so hard we felt intimidated. He then stormed off and said «they don’t even know their own order».
My food looked like it was tossed around and I couldn’t even eat it. Now my stomach is upset.
I will never return to this ihop again.
I initially sort of judged the elderly gentleman but now I see why he was so frustrated.

If your expecting service don’t come today. 20 min and not even a drink. Requested to speak with manager and aorta you one is not working because 5 min later still has not came to table and only three servers working.

I should of known this wasn’t going to be great when only one other table was occupied. Service was decent. Food was decent. Fruit was hard and not yummy looking but eatable. Not the cleanest place. They over charge I believe. For the price you pay the portions could be bigger. Wasn’t the best experience but wasn’t the worse. Took forever for food to get out and it was only us. Wont go back to this IHOP.

I love that this place is almost always dead and the noise level is quiet. The weekends prove they are the preferred place with it being packed. There is not a lot of customer service here which makes me want to go to Peak Grill where the good food and service is exceptional and the prices reasonable.

I literally come here every time I’m out in Colorado Springs to visit my boyfriend! Service’s been always good every time and they offer military discount, whoo! Super cheap food! not necessarily the fastest servers in the world but whatever: P It gets super crowded during PW so plan accordingly…

Normally the service isn’t so good, but tonight I’m pleased with it. On my other visits to IHOP, the service was really slow. You would receive your drinks and not see your waiter until forty minutes later when your food was done. Tonight our waiter was friendly, helpful, and not absent as often. A nice change.
As far as the food, half of the table didn’t receive the food with the others until the waiter came to check on us and got our food. And when I took a bite of the strawberry banana pancakes (my usual order) they were dry and plain. Must be due to the lack of banana in the actual pancakes.
Overall, the food was still good and the service impressed me. More often than not, I am happy when I leave IHOP. Can’t wait to come back and try more pancakes!

This was a decent place for a warm breakfast.
I just was frustrated with the service at first. Our waitress served us coffee, but left us hanging for quite a while. Another waitress saw that my husband was getting a little aggravated and she helped us from there on out.
Everything was cooked to order (particularly my husband’s crispy bacon), but it wasn’t as hot as I expected it. :/​Note that I’m not a huge fan of IHop. This one in particular was close to us before we headed to Pueblo. Plus, you’ll always find a variety of breakfast items on their menu.
I have a feeling this place could be a hit or miss depending on picky you are with food and if the service is good.
So glad that waitress was there to save our morning though. We left her a nice tip and told her not to share it with the chick that dropped us. Ha!

Everything about this place is a joke.
Walking in on a Saturday morning, you will be greeted with the sounds of children yelling and running around the place (several ran by me during my visit.) There is this obnoxious clown who makes balloons for the kids. Most of the balloons will burst during your visit, so every two minutes, all the patrons «jump», as it sounds like gunfire going off in the restaurant. The tables are super close to each other, so it is a very «claustrophobic» dining experience. The wait staff is young, and several seemed a bit «touched» to me, very awkward way they talk to you, almost in a sorta hypnotic daze, with a plastered smile on their face.
The food is lousy at best. I think I remembered liking their «international» variety of pancakes when I was five years old, but as an adult, this place blows. Very poor quality breakfast items.
This was my first visit to an IHOP in almost twenty years — will never be back again.
Takes the prize for worst breakfast food and experience in Colorado Springs (you are off the hook now, Denny’s!)

We went here last night after last call. There was one server, one cook and about 50 guests. It was the most insane restaurant experience I’ve ever been privy to. The server was great– servers, really, including the table of guys who were helping out ad hoc– but seriously bad management.

Not great, not bad. It’s typical denny’s village inn, etc experience.

Always ready to please with good food. Service is sometimes lacking.

Despite the poor rating, it was better than eating at home. The food was not bad but it wasn’t good either. For a cheaper price I’ve definately experienced better. The abiance of the place pretty much sucks. When walking to my table –the restaurant is set up as such– I felt like I was invading everyone’s privacy. The dividers between booths lay very low. The restaurant appears to have a lot of «diverse» patrons, which I might add, that take away from the overall enjoyment of eating out. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
