Showed up for brunch, they were initially out of champagne, so I was hoping the food would make up for it. I was really wrong! The menu read well but didn’t execute well. The eggs on my Benedict we almost hard boiled the potatoes we dry and tasteless. My husband said his omelet was mediocre as well. Our server was more interested in gossiping with another server right next to our table.

Food is not bad. French onion soup is the best and their little bread samples are tasty. The staff is pleasant and mimics servers at high end restaurants. Pricing average. They offer a pretty good selection of wine. Good place for clientele 60 and older. If you are in this age group please tip nicely. Older people tend to be frugal when tipping. I use to serve decades ago… I know who won’t tip well! Try this place with your family. Nice and comfortable.

My friend and I had wonderful meals. I highly recommend the turkey & brie sandwich with apricot chutney. But the best part was our waiter Clay! The first time in a long time I’ve had a waiter instead of a server. What a great experience, non rushed and completely relaxed.

I love me some Mimis! I love that they send us two for ones constantly. I love that I can throw a dart at the menu and not be disappointed. Every time we eat there is great. The service is great. The breads great. I love it… slow and tasty.

I have never been to this place and last week was our first try! First impressions were good, nicely decorated and friendly staff. We got cappuccino’s for the same price as coffee and after we investigated really closely we could not indicate any foam on our milky coffee. Nonetheless it tasted ok. I got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was fantastic! Really loved the capers and the hollandaise was perfect. My wife on the other hand had the breakfast tacos and they were mediocre, the tortillas were dried out and it needed salt. Not sure if we will be back or not it’s a tat pricey. But those eggs are worth it!

Went here on Thanksgiving evening. They treated my family like we were second class citizens. Ordered the New York steak. It was defiantly not worth $ 18 dollars. Maybe $ 2 dollars. They continuously made comments about us not ordering the Thanksgiving dinner. And a few other things. I understand that it is thanksgiving and they are busy. We were treated very poorly. With poor food quality. Definitely off my list for places to go and to recommend.

Chain restaurant with a French theme. Came for lunch. Servers were very helpful and the food was tasty. Had a delicious sandwich with a salad. If you were coming here to have your culinary socks blown off you need to set your bar higher. Thanks for a good meal Mimi’s.

Food was ok. This place is French which we didn’t figure out until after we were annoyed with the absolutely terrible music they had playing. It was bad, people. I had no idea but French music is super lame. Food was good enough though, even with the French twist.

Haven’t been here for awhile and was surprised at the new menu. Ordered the meatballs as a appetizer, even thought it was pretty tasty it came with a piece of hair cooked in it. Things happen and moved onto to the next course. I ordered the french pot roast. The french pot roast was not bad. The management came to my table and apologized for the meatballs and made up for it with a complimentary dessert. The waiter was attentive and polite. My visit was pleasant.

Nothing was spectacular. I think people reviewing this place have never gone to anything besides a chain restaurant. I’ve been here several times and have always had mixed experiences. It has really gone downhill. A while ago I found they did a good job. The food was fresh. The servers where fast and attentive. The portions were reasonable. The last three times here that has not been the case. The food is not made well at all. The crepes are bland. Everything was dried out beyond the appropriate amount.(The plates were burning hot from the heat lamps). The portions were quite sparse(especially for the way it was plated). I got a omelette and the amount of salt was insufferable. It actually made my stomach feel upset. The mocha had silty chocolate in it. As you can see I usually write positive reviews. I just want to keep it honest. Don’t come here. If you want French food that’s fresh and satisfying I would go to La Tartine right up the road. I will say the sever was good but she was overwhelmed because she had 15 tops by herself.

Went there for breakfast. Had the Santa Fe omlette. Onions & peppers weren’t rendered down. Didn’t taste the cilantro nor jalapeños that were suppose to be in it. Enjoyed my teaspoon of housemade guacamole. Just wish there was more of it. Ranch potatoes were good and so was the buttermilk muffin.

Overall, our experience here was pretty good. The bran muffin was extremely good. I’d go back just for that! I was a confused about the«fresh squeeze orange juice,» though. When I saw them opening a new container of orange juice it seemed quite unlikely that it was«fresh squeezed.» The orange juice was still okay, but this seems a bit misleading. Maybe they ran out of fresh squeezed and have a backup. It was really the amazing bran muffin that brought this from a 3 stars to 4 stars, though.

Worst eggs benedict we have ever had. Dirty carpets, table, film on everything meaning that deep cleaning doesn’t happen. Lipstick on our coffee cup. Will never return and will spread the word. One star means that I couldn’t select 0. If you like this place you really dont understand good food and hygiene.

Breakfast is pretty good, sometimes service could be a little better. My favorite is the poppyseed pancakes and mimosas of all flavors!

We had a fairly disappointing family Mother’s Day brunch here this past weekend. After making a reservation and showing up a few minutes beforehand, we were disappointed to see several groups who arrived after ours being seated before us because they knew the manager on duty. After finally being seated 15 minutes after our reserved time, we were herded back to a table that was still covered with food chunks all over the seats and floor. After a short eternity, the server came to take our drink orders. When they were delivered sometime later, one was incorrect. We received our food within a reasonable time, but were unimpressed, as everything was fairly bland. Overall, Mimi’s strikes me as a bare step up from Perkins and Village Inn. Patrons are piled into this place which was clearly understaffed for the holiday. Food quality is mediocre at best. I regret changing from our«regular» Mother’s Day spot and won’t make that mistake again.

Is it me or did Mimi’s Café change their hand cut corned beef hash to canned corned beef hash? I remember going there and getting awesome, hand cut, non-canned, corned beef hash. Anyways, this is why I’m giving it two stars… because it tasted like it came out of a can.

We have had nothing but great service and food here. Even when the place is packed, the service has been unparalleled, and the food is always hot. There is one server in particular whose name I don’t recall(younger guy with dark hair) who, despite it being a holiday and completely crowded, was polite, professional, and attentive. It was a great experience overall, and for us, continues to be so.

Service is excellent. I ordered slow smoked eggs Benedict on a crossiont and the babe had patatos eggs Benedict. Omg they both were amazing. The patatos eggs Benedict were on mash creamy delicious mash patatos and my Benedict was on a crispy crissont. I highly recommend it.

I really liked it here! It’s a really cute restaurant with a huge menu. I had such a hard time deciding what I wanted. The Mocha Latte was delicious and I will be back for that. The service was pretty good and I appreciated the free muffins they gave us on the way out after they heard we just moved to the area. I had the Quiche Lorraine and thought it was OK– a little cheesier than I expected and not as firm either. But the muffin that came with it was very yummy and I appreciated that it was warm. I think I will be a frequent guest of Mimi’s– it’s just my kind of place– a cute place with comfy booths, yummy mochas, good menu, and probably a great place to meet a friend for some tasty food and good conversation.

I would give them 6-stars if I could! Mimi’s is a Sunday morning breakfast tradition in my household! My husband and I have been coming here for years– we just absolutely love the food, atmosphere, and the employees– they’re great! I used to always order their Bayonne Benedict and Eggs Benedict but today I decided to try something new– 2 eggs over easy, pork sausage links, home fries, and corned beef hash. My goodness gracious I feel like no combination of words will do this meal justice. Absolutely scrumptious– and their coffee is strong, refreshing, and exactly how you would expect morning coffee to taste. Even at their busiest we have NEVER waited more than 10 minutes for a table. The restaurant is large and the hostess spreads everyone out so you aren’t seated in one congested area(as some restaurants tend to do). My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a family dining experience with delicious food and employees who truly enjoy their jobs!
