Usually have better experiences. Went out of my way to go to this location because they have a patio. Nice 60degree day, no breeze. Got there and asked hostess if I could sit on patio, she said no because«it wasn’t set up». I glanced outside to see tables and chairs and politely Told her it was set up, if we could just wipe off a table I don’t mind coming in and ordering my drink myself at the bar. She said she asked a manager(I did see her talking to one) and he said no. Just bizarre that on a beautiful day, they aren’t willing to put the customer first and seat one table on the patio. It was 3:00 pm, only one other table seated in entire bar so being busy or understaffed was not the issue. Went ahead and had our drink inside but was a total bummer since there is an OTB five minutes from my house but we specifically drove 20 minutes to this one to enjoy the sunshine in the patio. Putting the customer first just doesn’t exist. Disappointing.

Service was awesome. Ordered the steak street tacos. Meat was seemed like it was just left over/cut off bits from someone else’s steak. Bill was $ 120 made myself a sandwich as soon as I got home.

Well… Jeez. Something bad has happened to this place. Our food was brought out cold, order wasn’t exact as placed, and the waiter took my half eaten dish away when I went to the bathroom(even though I left all my stuff there). He made it right by replacing everything that I hadn’t eaten yet, but having to wait for the cool to make you ½ of a meal when you’re reaaaally hungry is very irritating. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, which was very watered down and mostly orange juice. However, the food that I order tasted good. The free chips and salsa are super tasty. I do appreciate that they have a totally separate menu just for vegetarians, it makes the ordering process so much easier and they actually have a decent array of options for those of us who avoid animal products. In summary, I feel that my main issues could be fixed with proper management of staff and the kitchen, as it wasn’t with the quality of food that we were served.

We went out with some friends to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. all was good till the food arrived. Then to of us order rancholadas they both said the meat was tuff and the enchiladas was just cold then one order stake fajitas and said the meat again was tuff. One other ordered the chimichanga shredded beef and again said it was tuff and just had no flavor. One of us order the nachos and again was very disappointed. Finally I had the spinach and mushrooms enchiladas they were dry and cold the only thing I had that was good was a taco. Needless to say we all was very disappointed with the place. And we had. All been there many times before. Now with having so Many different things off the menu and not good we all feel like not going back Till we see some good reviews.

I asked that they cooked my peppers a little bit more because the last time I got fajitas the peppers where practically raw. Not only was my four pieces of peppers was burnt my chicken was too. The only reason why I gave them two stars is for some reason the dinning experience is great it’s the to go part that they’re lacking in

After boycotting this paticular On the Border location for about 2 years due to poor service, I decided to give it another try only because we were in that part of town. Needless to say I was hoping for my previous opinion to change. When we walked in we were greeted and told it would just be a short wait, no problem. It started getting busy(dinner rush) so I just asked the hostess who had told us to be seated if we needed a buzzer. She was very nice, although the hostess who was working with her was not. She kept on giving the hostess I was speaking with attitude and obviously was getting annoyed. After getting off work from a customer service job, that is the last thing I want to see when I am trying to enjoy my evening. We ended up going elsewhere to eat.

We used to visit OTB almost every week in Tucson but moving to Pueblo the nearest one is in Springs. It was a fantastic building! Great service, wonderful food at reasonable prices. OTB is a favorite and will give plenty of reasons to drive north.

Went for lunch a few times over the past month. OK place for ‘Mexican’ food. Chimichangas are my favorite, even though I can’t spell the word. Service was good once and fair another(friend wanted larger Fajitas, not lunch size) and wasn’t too impressed with the food, hence the 3-star. Might go again, but still exploring the area.

I never eat here… But I will say the bar staff is awesome. I prefer summer if she’s behind the bar. Happy hour is absolutely worth it… Appetizers are a great value, as well as their drink specials… Happy hour is early. Starts from 3 – 7 and 9−11… Usually never too crowded so you can’t find a seat. Unlike other local barns and powers establishments. Great place if you reside on the Eastside!

Great food great staff. Me and my wife come hear at least once a week. We are always treated like family. The food is great and we are always greeted by either Rhonda or Clark to make sure everything is up to par. Love the staff. Love the food. Definitely recommend for some of the best fajitas in the springs.

I really love this place! There are so many friendly servers! The atmosphere is always so lively and friendly. There seems to be quite a few regulars which tells me the staff must be fabulous! Even the customers were very friendly! I’ve had the fajitas and the chicken is always tender and perfect! I love the handmade tortillas! I’m pretty picky and they never make me feel wrong for asking for changes to my meals! They are very accommodating. I’m definitely coming back!

I use to love this mexican restaurant. But the more I go to my tonight enjoy it. I do enjoy the homemade taste of flour tortillas and the corn tortillas. But the spices they use on their fajitas is not very good

SUNDAY22 — BIRTHDAYCELEBRATION — 4:30 … The place was half empty so there was no reason to ask the waiter why we waiting so long for our dinner(his answer was he had no control of food service) … typical loud bar music … we should have paid for our drink and left … the rice and beans were DRY… the empanadas were thin and oily … i don’t want to go on and on about bad food and bad service … the waiter never came back to ask how food was, just dropped the ‘ripp-off bill’ and split, guess he knew … and that is why i like Unilocal because they don’t have all their buddies and help write the reviews! Live and learn … NEVERAGAIN ! Steve W.

So just left this place. I found a huge wire in my salsa. I’m not one to complain at, but I called over the manager so she was aware so they can check the rest of the batch so on one else has that happen. All I got from the manager was that’s embarrassing not an apology or anything. She is a short blonde headed woman who did not even care about the situation. I mean I know I look like a twelve year old little girl drinking a beer, but seriously lady come on now. Business is business and you should have done something at least apologize. The waitress we had was wonderful though.

Did the endless enchiladas lunch. It was okay but not very good quality. The beef one was not good at all. Overall the food is pretty good. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was fun. Love the free chips and salsa!

I am not a Mexican food lover, but I like their free chips and salsa(excellent salsa, but too much garlic? Or whatever ingredient will make you want to brush your teeth over and over). Anyhow. Their meats are cooked well. Only bad is that their foods tend to be on the salty side.

The staff here was incredibly friendly, which is why I’m rating this particular restaurant so highly. Outside of this fact, the margaritas are probably the only noteworthy thing on the menu(huge margaritas with quite a bit of tequila — amazing!). This place is otherwise nothing to write home about. It’s a chain restaurant that offers Mexican food for $ 8 – 12. I recommend it for a family dinner/outing or if you’re feeling lazy/cheap.

Last Friday night my husband and I did call-ahead seating, they said the wait was about 20 – 25 mins. We arrived and still the wait was about 20 – 25 mins… ok, it’s Friday night, most places will be that long, so we decided to wait. We waited in the bar… for Happy Hour. Husband got a beer and I got house margarita(beer was supposed to be $ 2 and margarita was supposed to be $ 3), his bill was $ 10 !!! We waited and waited and waited… So, husband went back up to get another beer… this time he asked, ISN’T ITHAPPYHOUR… they said yes… still the bill was $ 3.50 for the $ 2 beer !!! Husband asked… «oh, the $ 2 is for the SMALL beer» — what a joke. We waited and waited and waited… We asked after 40 mins… wasn’t the wait expected to be @ 20 – 25 mins 40 mins ago? Yes… you’re next. We waited and waited and waited… 50 mins… asked again… oh, yes, you are next… 55 mins to get a table !!! We were told it was because they had the Ench plate for $ 8.99 special. By this time I was so hungry, I didn’t even look at the menu, I just said, so give me that special. My husband ordered the Taco SALAD thinking that would be fast. But what arrived was the Chicken Fajita Salad… and my plate was COLD(assume due to waiting for the chicken fajitas… which wasn’t even what he ordered). ASSUMING that this special has been going on for a few weeks… the hostess /manager would know that the waits would be longer than 20 – 25 mins at 5:30p.m. There were many others in the bar area saying that they were told the same thing… ANHOURWAITFORTHISPLACE!!! Never again. We haven’t been here in a long long time… and won’t be back.

Things I would sell my soul for: Rock and roll Sick abs A loose woman These southwestern chicken tacos and the red pesto sauce. This is really good for a ‘southwestern’ restaurant. A lot of the Mexican joints in the area are sub par compared to this place. A little more spendy but totally worth it.
