What a sweet little salon & spa. Everyone is so nice & helpful I’m glad I found this gem. They do it all; hair, skin, nails, spray tanning & massage AND they do it well!
Sheila is fabulous! I went in to freshen up the look of my hair & left happier than I’ve ever been with my new color. Sheila added 2 tone highlights and it looks gorgeous. Just what I needed to take the drab out of my winter color!

The last time I got my nails done was about 10 years ago. My boyfriend sent me a sweet card and money to get them done so I was really excited to be getting it done… picking out colors n glitter! The place I went originally did a horrendous job and I only lasted a week before I started searching for a salon that really specializes in gel nails. Somehow when searching google I came across ****Serenity Springs**** and decided to call. I was squeezed into today’s schedule with Sheila who is a nail guru!!! She was honest n really cares about the state your nails are in. She repaired n fixed the short comings that were driving me nuts. She was very thorough in filing and shaping my nails and they feel so natural. I absolutely love them and have already booked my next appointment w her!!!

So, if you’ve ever cut my hair, you’d know I’m a bit of a Prima Donna. 1. I have cowlicks, 2. I don’t like it when stylists talk so much they loose track of what their doing, 3. I’m a sucker for an amazing scalp massage (this will guarantee me coming back, even if the hair cut is bad). 4. I’ll probably ask you to «go shorter» the first time. 5. I like my neck razor cut with a straight edge, barber style.
THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL. My Stylist was Kacy who right off the bat was super friendly but didn’t have that fake «Like Hi. I’m you hair specialist (as she’s chewing gum 90mph)» smile/​greeting. She was straight up, said she loved doing men’s cuts and proved it. I’m used to getting a shampoo and condition first and she mixed it up. To make my first time even more challenging for her I showed up with a hat on. Long story short, after being introduced to all the fun personalities in present, she went to work, cutting & texturing, and then it was time for the real test… S&C…will she put me to sleep drooling? Better yet… it was so good I couldn’t fall asleep!!! Hot towels on the face, slow deep scalp massage (not hurried a bit) No wonder Kacy’s getting married in a month ;) So ya, we went back, she messed with my hair a little bit, I told her I wanted it a little bit shorter and with that all co workers were laughing «aaw, and that means another scalp massage, darn» Seriously this place is so much fun, yet professional. And a first!!, Kacy threw some product in my hair and styled it like I’ve never had anyone do before, and when I got home, my wife loved it. As a matter of fact, sounds like my queen will be visiting Kacy to give her a crack at doing her haircut and color :)
I’m super picky about the stylist and salon I go to, there is no $ 20 men’s hair cut (clipper only in fine print like Ulta and other Salons) bait and switch. My cut was $ 20 and she spent a full hour with me so I’ll be coming back here to Kacy for as long as I live in the Springs.
BTW, the new location can be a bit tricky, be sure to get exact directions from the girls when you call…:)

I am new to the Springs and faced the dilemma every woman who has just moved, faces. I needed to find a place to do my hair. I searched around on Unilocal and most of the places that had good reviews, just seemed a bit pretentious on their actual websites. Then by accident, I ran across the Facebook page of Serenity Springs Salon and Spa. After looking at some before and after pictures and reading their energetic posts, I decided to throw caution to the wind and give them a go. I could not be happier that I did.
My appointment was with Shannon, a little firecracker that has no off switch and had me smiling from the moment I sat in her chair. We discussed my cut (which I found out is her favorite one to do) and then after she got me under the water, I remembered I had forgot to tell the appointment taker I also needed highlights. Most salons this would be an issue, but not this place. Shannon said we would just do my hair in reverse and once she had it cut, she would turn me over to Rebecca for my color. These ladies both worked magic! Not only am I pleased as can be with how my hair turned out, I found the salon to be one of those places that just feels like you are spending a few hours with some of your closest girlfriends, getting pampered. It isn’t a salon that is so fancy and snobby that you feel uncomfortable. These are just great gals that do great work and have fun doing it. The bonus? I spent less on a better cut and color than I ever did in Denver, where I moved here from.

This salon is mediocre at best. The quality of service does not match price. My best advice for anyone that goes to this salon is to keep their receipt because it is possible that they will alter your tip. Somehow my tip was magically doubled and I was promised by the salon owner I would get a check back for the difference but it has been over two months since. My guess is I would have had a better chance of winning the lotto. This is a literal case of buyer beware.

Shiela [the owner] is the best. She has very good insight and visialization. She is honest and will tell you if a style or color will not work for you and she will explain why. She is very creative and a good listner! Her staff is awesome. I would recommand anyone of her and her staff to anyone.

Love the owner Sheila. She is very accommodating and wants to make sure you get what you want. She did my nails, 3 tone highlights, and hair cut for my wedding and was very sweet about it making sure I loved everything. First time I went for nails I had to wait a bit and Sheila did my nails for free because I had to wait a bit. It is not a fancy place but it is a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere :)

I’ve been going to Serenity Springs for six years now!!! Sheila does my nails and is fabulous! I get compliments on them all the time. Sheila does a great job of running this salon. She’s always looking for the newest styles and trends and implements them quickly throughout the salon. She put feathers in my daughters hair when the trend had hardly even hit Colorado Springs! The salon is always a friendly place to spend your time. Melinda gives amazing massages and Shannon is a master at waxing! I recommend this salon to anyone who wants a wonderful spa experience with friendly and personable people!

A fun and sassy full service salon that is centrally located and welcomes you if you’re 5 or 105. The prices are more than reasonable and the offering of late hours during the week can accommodate the craziest of work schedules. The environment is light and will keep you laughing.
