Definitely food love because this is one of my favorite places. They are sadly out of BlackBerry jam… how does that happen? Still my favorite with the best coffee ever!

The staff was friendly but the food was slow to arrive and not worth the wait. Bland gravy, tough, hard to cut pancakes, muffin was crispy, turkey sausage was bland. Waitress kept the coffee coming but we won’t be back.

It’s not very often that I go to any restaurant and don’t have to ask for anything. In this instance, that was the case. Lizzie(or Lizzy) was my server and never once did I have to truly ask for anything — she was marvelous, every step of the way. The food itself was up to Cracker Barrel’s usual standards: delicious. The food was the proper temperature and wonderfully presented. I couldn’t have asked for better food or better service.

Our younger kids did not remember eating at Cracker Barrel so we had to stop during our trip. It provided a nice way to relax and have a good meal at a decent price for our family. The service and food were very good. The server added a couple of items from another check but fixed it when I brought it to her attention. One of the kids left an electronic device on the table and the server brought it to us fortunately while we were in the store.

Just picked up a to go order. Staying in a hotel near by. The broccoli cheddar chicken was good. I was excited to try the cola cake… because the menu said it was a customer favorite and a Cracker Barrel tradition. I got a dried out corner piece. Very disappointing. Loved the shop.

Quick, friendly service at breakfast around 7:00AM on a Saturday. No compaints, the food was hot and came out quickly. The server was friendly and it was very easy to get on and off 70 going west.

I’ve always had good experiences with this particular store so I have hardly any complaints. The food is good, the pancakes are seriously amazing, and the staff is super friendly. They have breakfast all day, which is a plus for me, and their portions are more than enough. My favorite breakfast meal is Momma’s Pancake Breakfast that comes with three delicious pancakes, eggs, and meat of your choice(they offer turkey bacon and sausage too). My only complaints are the wait time for seating can be long on their busy days and they do get super busy especially on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s best to come early on those days to beat the rush. Also, silly complaint but they only have hardwood chairs and my butt hurts after sitting in them.

There is a reason why most cracker barrels have low ratings. Anymore, they offer just mediocre service. This is our second visit in a row that has been terrible. The first time, we waited forever and our food came cold. They ended up giving all 4 meals free and replacing all the food. Fair enough. Now this time, she says the kitchen lost the ticket. That sounds like an easy blame. All I know is everyone around us that came in after not only got their food but finished before we ever received ours. They aren’t even all the busy. Oh well. Stay away from this location and in my experience, most cracker barrels. They are always far busier than they should be given their service.

Love this place! Especially in the winter. They have home-style cooking and an old-fashioned atmosphere. I like to play checkers in front of the fireplace while I wait for my food. I can eat healthy here, too when I order egg beaters, turkey sausage and tomato slices. Everything tastes great.

We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning. Service and atmosphere were fine, but the food was pretty bad. The scrambled eggs were flat and squarish in shape, with a bland taste. I was supposed to get two scrambled eggs, but if I had two eggs, they were small. The gravy was OK but tasted like flour.

After driving literally all night and finding myself starving and wishing for something warm and breakfast-y(I really just wanted a lot of bacon), we stopped here five minutes before they opened. We were the only people there, which made it really easy to get our food and coffee quickly. My bacon was awesome and the waitress was really nice and made sure my coffee was always full.

Love the awesomely yummy breakfast they serve but lunch and dinner menu sucks! The chicken and dumplings I had for dinner was not what I expected, looked like a big pile of slop you would throw to the pigs in the pig pen and was cold, gross and completely tasteless! 3 stars for their kool shop and great breakfast but that’s it otherwise the lunch and dinner menu bombed a perfect 5 star review.

I ordered the smokehouse breakfast, wife had a house salad and baked potato. Don’t know why it has a low rating? Gave it a 4 star for your average CB

Yes, it is Cracker Barrel, it is DINER food. Not epicurean gourmet fare. Stopping at a diner means DINERFOOD. That being said, this CB is sub-par as compared to other CB locations. We find the service is usually slow and not terribly friendly. We had a waitress I almost felt obliged to apologize to for being there. The food is never as good(again, people, it is DINERFOOD) as the other CB locations. They are known for their pancakes with the little crispy, buttery edges and most of the time this location serves up squishy, soggy splats of dough. They tend to run out of their daily«specials» and the service is just not terribly efficient. The manager of the CB Tiffany Springs came from THIS location and he keeps his location running smoothly and their service and food are excellent. Maybe he needs to return to COMO and help them out.

In an effort to be as thorough as possible in my reviews of our dining experiences en route to Vermont, this Cracker Barrel gets a nod. I think it’s actually some kind of rule that you have to eat at at least one of these spots when you’re on the road, so this was our obligatory barrel breakfast. Which was fine. I had a granola and yogurt and a decent blueberry muffin. Mark had some kind of eggs, and our server was very sweet. What gives with the brutal reviews, people? Do you also go to McDonalds and then rake em’ over the coals? Like, «how dare Mc Donald’s freeze their french fries!» That isn’t any different than«how dare Cracker Barrel serve sub-par franchise restaurant food.» Honestly, if you don’t want a franchise meal, don’t go to a franchise!

Near-food and non-food items. This standarized industrial processed foods can not be good for the body. Big dad’s eating too much synthetic calorie carriers in the shape of real food. Oh well, let’s look for local diners that might have some fresh eggs and some homemade gravy.

When I think about eating here I think about wild animals eating their own feces. The food is disgusting and like other reviewers, its a universal dislike, no matter which one of these places you pull up to. YUK!!! Stay away unless you are over 80 and like to eat your own feces.(wasn’t that nice of me not to say shit?)

The food was certainly not memorable, so it’s good I took notes. The vegetable soup earned good marks for being fresh-made and not salty. The rest of the food was somewhat overcooked for all 3 of us, though it may have just sat on a steam table for too long. Service was friendly and attentive though, and we were happy to learn that staff are tested and evaluated(with raises and promotions) regularly, denoted by the number of stars in their aprons.
