I was there last night. They were very happy to customize my order(I wanted to do build your own burger with a chicken breast instead) so this was a major plus and good customer service at the order counter. On the downside, I didn’t have such a pleasant experience in the dining room. There were a lot of tables not bused and a lot of people waiting in line that were going to need places to sit. I waited by an un-bused table for a while as I watched one young woman(glasses, facial piercing, blonde on top of hair dark underneath) run food in and out. I finally stopped her and asked her if someone would be coming around to bus the tables and oh my! You would have thought I had suggested something really inappropriate to her! She gave a really dirty look and said that she would, but she figured people were still sitting at the tables so she didn’t bother. She snatched the dirty dishes off of the table and stormed off. The food was ok. The chicken breast on my sandwich was small and untrimmed(not good when you bite into gristle). I definitely wouldn’t come back.

Food is great. But awful customer service! After an employee gave our food to the wrong people we waiting forever to receive the correct food. Meanwhile the restaurant is practically empty and we were starving. A little more info, they close whenever they feel like it 10:30−9 is not a thing during the week; if they aren’t busy then they just close(I was actually told this by an employee). One night, I walked up to the door at 8:15 and the door was locked and employee just glared at me as I stood in cold.

Wonderful, tasty and very filling salads. I got the farmhouse salad with chicken. The large size. I was full for most of the day after it. It was so good! Chicken was tasty and other ingredients complemented well. The lettuce was crispy and fresh. Place was pretty busy when we went for lunch but the business has a really good system going in terms of you ordering and getting your food pretty quickly. Our group had a good experience here.

The food here is great which is why it got a 3rd star from me however there are a few areas that could be improved. First of all the prices are pretty high especially for a college town casual eatery. Every single time I’ve been there the workers at the register were painfully awkward/unfriendly which usually would go unnoticed by me, however it was so bad I felt the need to address it here. On top during my last visit the worker at the register came up to me after I already paid & sat down & told me that she charged me wrong. It was unclear what she messed up on & what I was being charged for, I had to go up to the register and pay again. Like I said, the food here is great but the prices and customer service here ruined it for me.

Okay, so this place is a quick decent place to grab lunch. It has a lot of great menu items and quality food options. They need to cut down on the oil though. Both my friends sandwich and my salad had too much oil! I do not know why my roasted peppers had so much oil added. Almost made the salad not worth eating. I might give this place another try, if I am in the mood for something besides Chipotle. Since it is a few stores down, it is a much better choice!

It’s really too bad that the new ownership jacked up the prices. Everything here is phenomenal and great for you, and it used to be a top place on campus! Everybody I talk to is disappointed in the menu recipe changes as well. A lot of their favorite things are now off the menu. With a slight price drop a lot more people will come in!(Not like that’s a problem for Ingredient either way) I’ve had a couple of the salads-one with beets and goat cheese and the strawberry and Gorgonzola one. I’ve also had the Italian sandwich and the turkey one! The salads were huge, fresh, and delicious, while the sandwiches had a lot of meat and delicious homemade bread. Everything is perfection, I’m only giving them 4⁄5 stars for neglecting the poor college crowd! Throw us a bone!

I’ve been here several times and it’s always delicious and fresh. Very casual and never too busy. I took my picky family here as well and they loved it! I recommend the burger.

This place used to be so good and would have gotten 5 stars. Since they have changed the menu it is practically a new place, the high prices for almost any add on are ridiculous and they removed many of the original ingredients. Would love to go back there again if they would go back to their old ways!!!

I’ve only been here 2 – 3 times. I avoid it because of the high price and fast-casual eatery dining style. At a certain price point, I feel my meals should be served/I should be waited on. Burgers range from $ 10 – 14. Full size salads are around $ 11 – 15 or so. Portion sizes are decent here, however! I order a half crispy chicken salad that is absolutely delicious and a mild $ 6.50. Not bad for the quality and freshness of food and it’s enough to fill me up for lunch! Their sweet potato fries are amazing too!

This used to be a favorite for lunch or dinner, but the change in management eliminated my favorite ingredients from its menu. I used to come here craving the deli turkey, brie, and apple or a veggie burger on a ciabatta roll with spicy sprouts, avocado, and sriracha aioli. the avocado is now a smear of tasteless green mush. The ciabatta is texas toast drenched in too much butter. and the sprouts, brie, and aioli have vanished along with the fresh veggies and cottage cheese that were my go-to sides. The two best salads are also gone. I used to go here once a week. Now I only go here if someone else in my group insists, and both times that has happened my lunch date has left as disappointed as I am. Bring back the good ingredients, ingredient. You can fix this. In the meantime, I’ll go elsewhere. It is a serious shame to watch this once packed favorite sit nearly empty most days.

neat little bistro in the heart of Mizzou. food was great with truly fresh ingredients, which you’ll see being prepared and cooked as you walk up to order. cool menu, something for everyone. we had veggie burger, drunken meatballs, and wild mushroom salad. all great with large portions.

Very good food. Nice alternative to Panera BreadCo. Oversize portions. Excellent bargain. Potato fries are outstanding. Would definitely eat here again.

This used to be a place where I loved to get a salad, and sadly since it changed ownership that’s no longer the case. I went in a couple of weeks ago, not realizing that the temporary closure was to change owners. Anyway, I went to order my regular salad which had always included 5 mix-ins. Not anymore. Now you get just 3 mix-ins, and my favorite options were gone. So I asked how many the ½ slze got, as it used to be 3, and it is still 3. So you get 3 mix-ins no matter the size of your salad. Okay, so I got the ½ size since there was really no benefit to the larger size anymore for me. I also asked for a white roll, and they no longer have those, they now only have raspberry ciabatta bread. Okay, fine, no huge deal. Then I get my salad. When I say I could have made it better myself at home, I’m not exaggerating. I wish I had taken a picture. The lettuce was for the most part okay, but was partially going bad. The chicken used to be delicious, hot, freshly grilled and moist, but this chicken was cold as ice and mediocre. The salad wasn’t tossed like usual, but I did get it to-go so that may be why. Hopefully they at least still do that in the restaurant. All in all, it was a huge disappointment. I showed it to a couple of my friends when I got back to my building and they were in agreement. I may give them another shot for a burger, but I will never order another salad there unless something changes.

I’ve never seen a restaurants quality drop so fast following corporate acquisition. The available ingredients is ¼th of what it used to be, the remaining ingredients are of lower quality(rubber chicken for sure), and best of all, they charge more to boot! Don’t waste your time or money.

The Turkey, Apple, and Brie melt is amazing! Pair it with the sweet potato fries and you’ve got yourself a delicious meal. This is one of my favorite places in Columbia!

I came here for a late lunch while visiting town for the new Jamba Juice launch. I am so glad I did. Located between a Which Wich and a local restaurant is in*gre*di*ent. One of the most pleasant QSR dining experiences I have had in some time. The inside is space with a mix of modern natural accents combined with rather mundane furniture. If I was going to take a star a way it would be for the underdeveloped ambiance. That star was regained by the tremendous service . I had the Honey Wasabi Turkey Burger which consisted of fresh seasoned ground turkey, provolone cheese, crisp butter lettuce, and beef steak tomatoes with a spicy siracha aiole. I must say, don’t get mad honey, it’s the best Turkey Burger I have ever had. I’m thinking of going gobble gobble right now. Until next time, done fine.

I came in here for a solo lunch, to refuel and catch up on emails while visiting family in Columbia. I found this place on Unilocal and I hope many others do the same, because I had a fantastic experience! I ordered the Honey Wasabi Turkey Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. It was the best turkey burger I’ve ever had! This was a great place to sit down and get some work done on your own, or as I observed a great place for a meal with friends! The employees were super friendly, but a bit slow. Wifi was free, fast, and reliable, but you do have to ask for the password. If you’ve never been before, be sure to check out the menus laid on the counter at the beginning of the queue, so as not to end up craning your head to read the three different menus on the wall, contemplating your lunch with hungry tigers behind you! Overall, a great atmosphere, and tasty food. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in town again!

The food here is amazing. I had a Chicken ceaser wrap and a side of sweet potato fries, although it was a little on the pricey side. However, there was a problem with the service. The people taking our order messed up my sisters order and her food never came so we had to walk up and tell them. Then after a lot of fumbling around they told me I didn’t pay for it and they were very rude as I told them we ordered it at the same time and I payed. They explained to me that they deleted it and I only payed for one and So they basically told me how they made a mistake and I had to pay for it and it was highly inconvenient. I only recommend this place if you’re willing to deal with the service.

This is one of my favorite go-tos in Columbia. Ingredient has a large variety of food combos you can choose from and even create your own! On my most recent visit, I ordered a bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and salmon sandwich… it was amazing. Well worth the elevenish dollars. I usually get their sweet potato fries but the regular are a safe bet too. Their grilled vegetables are another good option if you are looking for a healthier side but remember they ARE chilled. This can be a bit strange if you aren’t expecting it because freshly grilled(and warm) veggies taste way better. Another creation I like to get when I go here is a burger with bacon & egg on top. This combo is my guilty-cholesterol-pleasure-meal. A lot of reviewers are put off because a meal hovers around $ 10 even though it looks more like a cheaper place. Do not fret, the money is well spent.

I would have totally given this place five stars had it not: 1) Had some red, wilted lettuce pieces on my burger 2) Served a few soggy(over-fried? old?) fries This place was… phenomenal(for Columbia, MO standards). I created my own burger(beef, traditional bun, cheddar, fried egg, smoked bacon, and roasted garlic chipotle sauce), which comes with lettuce, tomato, and a pickle on the side, and ordered a side of fries. The burger was delicious! I can’t believe how good it tasted. It was on par with Red Robin and better than Five Guys. This is possibly the best burger place in town. Also, the tomato in the burger– my word! It had such a full flavor that I felt like I was finally eating a real tomato and enjoying the summer. Simply stunning. The fries(the ones that weren’t soggy) were delightful as well. They were dusted with flakes of salt rather than table salt or sea salt, and it just balanced the potato out really well. I usually eat fries with ketchup, but these were so good I felt like they didn’t need augmentation. I would definitely go back to try other dishes. It is a bit expensive, but it was similar to what you would pay at Olive Garden.
