Fast check-​in. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Hot and free breakfast. Enough said!

Nothing fancy in this hotel, but close to man restaurants and a shopping mall. Hotel offers a basic breakfast and they have a small fitness center. Located off I-​26, so is easy access from the highway and is located in West Columbia. The parking lot is small and when the hotel is full, is almost impossible to find parking.

Hotel is very clean rooms are spacious. Used Hotwire to book so received a cheaper rate. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Also has small gym business office.
Complimentary breakfast is ok a standard breakfast menu. Pancake machine was broken. The weird thing is I have stayed here a back in January and the pancake machine was broken then too. So not sure if you will ever get pancakes here as they advertise. They did have turkey sausage, biscuits, pastries, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, juice, and coffee.
The location is considered central Columbia. Downtown near USC. Not in walking distance to night time activities or restaurants.
So this hotel I would say is pretty standard and average. Nothing truly special.

The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was horrible… well, what we got to eat. I was very disappointed that at 9:40 am all that was left on the breakfast bar (open til 10) was a few biscuits, gravy and hard boiled eggs. Even the cereal and bread was packed away. The maid or server saw us and ignored us, probably because she put stuff away before she was supposed to do so. It isn’t like she had to go home at 10:00. She was being rude and that’s unacceptable to someone who has pain over $ 100 for a room and breakfast. I’m a frequent visitor to the chain and this is usually the biggest complaint. Keep breakfast filled until the time you are supposed to close it. NO SKIMPING!!!

Danville, GA
Extra clean, friendly staff. Easy off interstate. Small fitness room, free wifi. All anyone needs for a comfortable overnight travel stop. Near plenty of restaurants and shopping.
