There’s a woman here who does the measuring for the bras. She’s really nice and helpful. Not sure why, but she’ll push every ill-​cut bra on you BUT the perfectly poised & sexy balconette. Ignore her. Get the balconette and keep it moving. A balconette is what makes the girls sit up, controlled and get noticed by the menfolk. She could use a little balconette herself. Everyone can, actually. Viva la balconette.

I’m not afraid to put it out there: I’m a tall, full figured woman and yes I shop at Lane Bryant which is a store for plus size women.
The service is friendly at this store. Generally, they don’t assault you when you come in the door, but they don’t ignore you either. They are helpful if you need it and leave you alone if you are just browsing.
I’ve never had any problems making returns here, and usually if I have a question about what to wear to certain type of event, they ladies are helpful. They are also good at helping me figure out the right size for a particular piece of clothing.
One time on a weekend visit they did have someone who’s job I can only assume was greeter. She was very boisterous and overly friendly, but then again that’s her job, right? To tell me about all the great sales and try to trick me into signing up for a store credit card so I can save a whopping 10% on that day’s purchase. She was annoying to say the least, but for some reason I found myself entertained so I continued to listen. It felt kind of like talking to a telemarketer except without the annoyance. Every time I said no she had a crafty response, just like a telemarketer. But on the flip, instead of wanting to slam the phone down while she was talking, I found myself entertained by her repeated attempts to sell me. I’ve never seen her there again and even though her enthusiasm and charm entertained me for 5 minutes, I don’t mind that she’s never been there since.
Visit a coupon site and print out a coupon to save $ 25 for every $ 75 you spend and shop here when they have good sales, like buy 1 get 1 ½ price bottoms, or BOGO bras and you’ll find that you have quite an assortment of clothing for a very reasonable price.
The style of the clothing is conservative – but maybe that’s a good thing since the store is for big women. No one wants to see our goodies hanging out right? Well, I often find myself wishing their clothing was just a little more flattering. I mean geez, even big women have some attributes that it’s ok to show.
