BEWARE. We sent a bus full of girls to an athletic event. The bus got towed from the parking lot the hotel told us to park it in! The hotel owner and restaurant owner next door appear to be conspiring. The web site says free bus parking. The employees of both places told the bus drivers and another hotel resident with a truck they could park at the restaurant because no room in hotel parking lot even though advertised. Said that’s what they do all the time. Both bus and other vehicle were towed. The tow company towed & disabled the bus and says we can’t have it until we pay $ 800. The owner of the hotel and restaurant say«not our problem!» In fact, owner of hotel charged group extra money for having to store luggage at hotel because there was no where to put it since they towed the bus! Local police will not help. say it’s a private matter!(A bus full of young athletes trapped in Columbus unless they can come up with $ 800 cash on Saturday?!). DONOTSTAYHERE!

Well, this is the place leftover when everything else is sold out! When i first walked into the room, i said«Hello, 1970s» This is the worst room i have ever stayed at that was over $ 100/night. This is more what i would expect paying $ 50ish a night. Aside from being completely outdated, it was on the dirty side. I wouldn’t even sit on the chair with my bare body. The carpet is pretty stained and the furniture is all chipped up. There is no coffee machine, but we got coffee in the lobby from 6−10am. It does feature a microwave, mini frig, hairdryer. The pillows were like pieces of giant cotton balls stuffed into a pillow case, you could feel several pieces of cotton stuffed in there, it was like craft store filling. I don’t know how else to describe it. AND, the very best part, we found a yucky pair of women’s underwear on the floor. NICE! i did, however, give it two stars because the staff were very pleasant. There was a drive in check-in window which made a long trip a breeze in the cold weather, and our room was made up and had fresh towels when we returned after being gone all day, which to be quite honest, was more than i expected. in case you’re wondering, the breakfast included was danishes, glazed donuts, mini muffins, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee.

Poor experience. My chief complaint was the construction in the parking lot. It wasn’t just one section of the parking lot, it was a majority of the parking lot which caused a shortage of parking spaces. We had to park at the buffet next door. Our room had an odor to it and the surface on the fridge door and the tv control panel were visibly dirty. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. If it weren’t for the fact that every other hotel in the area was sold out, I would have demanded a refund and stayed elsewhere.
