La Quinta Inn & Suites Columbus West – Hilliard

The staff here were incredibly friendly and pleasant! We are driving across country with a dog and they were more than accommodating. The room was clean and spacious and very well maintained… I definitely recommend them to anyone traveling with pets.

Driving cross country, it was a decent place to stop. Staff was welcoming and the room was clean and very spacious. I checked in really late and had a very good nights sleep, comfortable beds although the walls were so thin that I could hear the gentleman next door to me snoring.

Do not stay in room 308 — the elevator buzzed every 10 minutes the whole night. Went to front desk and was told that I should’ve informed them earlier and they could’ve moved me. Not a great attitude and I won’t be staying here or any La Quintas anytime soon

Clean room, great staff, and pet friendly. Had problem with the TV in the room, called the front desk and they came immediately to fix it. Would definitely stay here again. A nice gentleman at the front desk, with a great sense of humor. I think his name was Adam.

Good rates. Allow pets with no fee.
However, the room smelled– probably of those free pets. And the Internet was terrible.
Really, really terrible.

I had stayed here once before when I was driving across the country, when needing to come back to columbus I made sure to book here again. We had a great corner room on the third floor, the room was pretty large, had a very nice size refrigerator and microwave, both a big plus in any hotel. Unlike some other hotels as such it did not smell bad and I love the fact that I got to take my dog at no extra charge here. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly.

I had to stay here on 2 separate occasions. Usually the LA Quinta hotels I stay at are nice and well kept, a great chain hotel that allows dogs. My room had dog urine all over. The corners of the bed skirt was stained and not washed since the offense occurred. The curtains were in the same condition. We went down to breakfast to find the dining area freezing and the thermostat set and locked to 59 degrees. The desk clerk said he could not change it the owners locked it. The coffee was cold as well. I’m assuming that by not laundering the urine saturated linens and curtains and not tending to the breakfast bar with fresh foods and coffee is one way to save money and a sure way to lose customers. #laqiuntafail

I stayed here when I was diving cross country. I chose this hotel because they allow pets and do not charge a fee. We checked in here pretty late. I thought it was odd that the woman working at the desk was afraid of dogs since it is a dog friendly hotel. The room was very spacious but I had requested for them to not spray the room with air freshener as I was traveling with somebody who has asthma. They did not listen and the room smelled badly of spray. They did not bother to change our room. The hotel gets 4 stars for being pet friendly and they were located near a lot of shops. Like I said it was late when we arrived and we were hungry. I was able to go to Walmart across the street and buy things we needed. I really liked how it was located near a store that is open 24 hours. The breakfast was good but not as great as other la quinta locations. They had their amazing waffles but no peanut butter. The hotel seemed safe and I was not scared going in and out of the parking lot at night. I would stay here again.

Reasonably priced motel about 10 minutes west of Downtown Columbus. Clean, comfortable rooms, free hot breakfast, indoor pool, flat screen TV and free wifi.

Large rooms, pets allowed without additional cost, clean, excellent value! Definitely looking out for La Quintas in the future!

Nice room. But this is the first hotel that I have ever stayed that wouldn’t let us leave our motorcycle under the roof and it was raining that’s just BS they were out of the way it was 10 pm and we are leaving at 8am just rudeo

A convenient motel just off 1 – 70 and about 20 minutes away from The Ohio State campus. It’s clean and relatively quiet. There’s always free breakfast as well.
