I’ve been here twice now and I have yet to find something on the menu worth a 4 or 5 star rating. The last time I went I got fish tacos and they were super bland. At the very least there could’ve been some salt on them, but no, nothing. The little bit of chips and salsa they threw on the side were decent but not good enough to make up for the crappy tacos. I guess if you’re coming here to get drunk the food may impress you(things always taste better when you’re drunk). The atmosphere is nice, I’ll give it that. Not too uppity but not exactly casual either. I’d come back for drinks alone… nothing else.

Went to Bar Louie Easton on Tuesday night Burger night. Busy night and short-staffed, we were still taken care of! Don, the GM, rolled up his sleeves and was wonderful! Great burgers, great cosmos and great service! Made for a fun date night. We will return for sure! Thanks again Don!

Holy hell I came here for lunch as my BF and I were staying with my sister for the holiday. We ordered food and were starving. It took what felt like 30 minutes for simple things like mac and cheese and sliders and soups. The waitress seriously went to refill cups and gave my boyfriend back a water with a lime seed in it which we new was my sisters fiancees cup since he put lime in his water. So gross, we started wondering if she was going to mix up other tables drinks? Then all of us got food except the sliders we were going to share, there were supposed to be fries so she said sorry and added some like 10 fries? Then as my BF and I lifted up the tops of the burgers to see if we should add ketchup she came back grabbed the plate and said sorry this isn’t for you, why would you take something we already touched? We new she was obviously going to reserve the burgers we touched to someone else that’s so not cool. She took the same few fries added to our other burger plate and returned to us. Worst mac and cheese I ever had super bland like they dumped velveta on it and that’s it. The sliders were not good to me I was expecting bacon and toppings and everything was mixed in with the meat. I had been here before and though the food was never amazing serving soup that tastes like canned campbell’s soup and contaminating peoples drinks is disgusting one of the worst dining experiences ever.

Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Not too busy but it did take a while to get food and check. The portions of the fries with the burger was equal to a value fry somewhere at a fast food restaurant. The drink I had was good and the fries that I had were good. So for that, they get 2 stars but for them to have so much competition around them, I would think it would be better. If you want a burger with fries, just go to 5 Guys right outside the door. The seating was nice and clean but the food was subpar.

Restaurant needs management and a hostesses. We sat for 10 mins before someone got our drink orders. There is no bussing tables and we around surrounded by empty tables with dirty plates.

Where did the staff go? Been sitting here 10 minutes waiting for my check. One guy left at the bar. First and last time here. Food not good enough to put up with the service.

Was very disappointed. It took ½ hour to get our order of calamari at the bar. When it finally came out, it was cold and very rubbery. The people sitting next to us had the artichoke dip. They complained about it being cold, and the chips were soggy.

Lunch there this past weekend. The restaurant is huge, and the interior/décor is very nice. Hard wood floors, with large wood walls, and decorated with old vintage signs. Nicely upholstered furniture, and a small outdoor deck. One thing I noticed was the lack of booths. they only have about 5 or 6 at the very rear of the restaurant, and 3 of them were very large semi circled units. They also had this neat area… it was like a pit, that you could sit on eclectic furniture, and eat/drink off of small coffee tables. When we got to our booth, we found a lot of crumbs on out seat that we had to brush off. Looked like they just wiped the crumbs from table from the last use, onto seats and walked away. The music was good, but too loud for our liking. Service was good, but they weren’t busy at all, so that’s expected. Our appetizer was the sausage Pot Stickers. Outstanding! Fried up crispy and hot, drizzled with this killer szechwan sauce. Really, really good! We both ordered off the light $ 8 lunch menu. I got the bacon sliders, that frankly, were very dry. WAY too much bread. I did like the option to get tots instead of fries… which were very good… deep fried crispy on the outside, soft and hot on the inside. She got the chicken quesadilla, which she did not like. Upon examination, the cheese and chicken only covered the inside 4 inches of the 8 inch sized bread. So thumbs up for the Pot Stickers and tots, but the rest was rather meh. I give then an A-OK.

Nothing redeeming about this place. Slow service, disinterested management, and an even slower kitchen. All combines to ensure a horrible experience. Do not go here if you can help it.

Went for a girls night out and arrived at 7:00. Server came by, sat a spray bottle and cloth on table and didn’t return for 15 minutes. Our first drink order took forever so we promptly ordered food. It finally arrived 90 minutes later with 2 orders incorrect and one of us receiving cold pasta. The restaurant wasn’t busy and neither our server or the manager seemed to care about the poor service. Finally when we demanded to see the manager, she comped everything. Needless to say, we never made it to the movie we had planned to see.

Summary of review: Pick one of the hundred bars in the Easton area. If I could give negative stars, I would. Several years ago, this was the place I went to on a regular basis(at least once a week). Then it started to get too busy and hard to find a seat and there were too many other bars to try out when I was at Easton. I had met a friend for drinks at 101 Beer Kitchen. We were met and greeted the second we sat at the bar. We were served our drinks in a very quick time. Love this place!!! While we were at 101 my friend was called into work. We decided to catch up again later that night. He wanted to go to Bar Louie and I thought that would be cool since I had not been there in awhile. WRONG! I showed up first around about 11:30 pm on a Friday night. There was maybe 1 table in the restaurant and 2 in the bar area with people, a few people on the patio, and 3 or 4 of us at the bar. There was 3 employees behind the bar and about 3 – 4 servers walking around the restaurant. I sat at the bar to wait for my friend and waited no less than 10 minutes before anyone asked me if I wanted a drink. I was trying to get their attention but they were doing what looked like prep work or end of the night work and too busy to wait on customers. The big screen TV in front of me at the bar was showing some old movie while the football game was on one of the tiny TVs off to the side… REALLY??? When my friend showed up he waited awhile before anyone asked him for a drink. At this point it started to become obvious that other people were having issues being served. A guy came in from the patio and said he had been trying to pay his bill and just needed someone to run his card so he could go. I laughed until it happened to us. My friend tried for an unreasonable amount of time to get someone’s attention to bring our bill. Notice that neither of us had a 2nd drink. It took another 10 minutes ATLEAST until they came back to pick up the bill. I cannot possibly convey how ridiculous this was. I do not mind waiting but this was beyond anything that would be considered normal. NOTETHEYWERENOTBUSY! As we were leaving, we both commented how we liked this place before but won’t go there again. It really isn’t that big of a loss to me because there are too many bars at Easton that do care about service.

When I went we had just missed happy hour, but the happy hour menu looked very nice. I got the mango limeade drink, and it was so delicious. My fiancé got a beer and the size of that beer for the price was great. We got an appetizer, the Trio Dips & Chips. All of the drips were delicious. I will be going back again. Our server was very nice and explained the beer menu to us. The place was a little dirty but they had just finished a rush and got it cleaned up very quickly. They had indoor and outdoor seating, but the outdoor was completely full. But the inside had very nice decorations.

Call about the $ 1 burger special and asked what the catch was I was told that u were charged extra for cheese and veggies, so I took my 14 and 10 year old with me. As soon as the waitress saw us she had a attitude. There was a catch that u had to buy a drink for the deal. Was not told until we got there. They would have gotten one more star if waitress was nice.

Have always loved Bar Louie since frequenting the original in Chicago when I lived there. Disappointed that my fav dish the Muffalatta sandwich is not on the menu anymore, but got the chicken lettuce wraps and they were delicious!

Horrible service. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the servers don’t come by to check and see if you need a refill on your drink, but this was the first. 3 of us sat at the bar and the two bartenders found it more advantageous to joke around with each other and their friends at the bar then actually doing their job. On a positive note, their food was mediocre with 25% of the wings not being brushed with sauce, great work. Steer far away when you can get cheaper drinks anywhere else with better service.

My favorite place. They redecorated the place and renovated it. Much more space than before. Staff is full and nice. The menu has changed with better options. Love the atmosphere. They now have live music on some nights on stage. Very nice. They fixed it up to attract more customers. I’m game

Went to BL-Easton with a couple of friends on Friday night, around 7. We found a recently vacated table on the patio and sat down. It took about 15 minutes before the waitress came over to clear the plates and cups from the previous table — though there seemed to be at least two servers assigned to the 6 table patio… It took a really long time to get our drink orders and by the time she came back around to take our dinner order we were all starving. The food was decent, I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. My friends who ordered tacos said that they came out cold. The service was bad enough, but on top of that the food wasn’t anything special. I don’t think I would go back.

ASH, and I have been here multiple times before… Every time there has been memories made– the Dirty Martini is amongst the best in central Ohio… The blue cheese olives absolutely make it! I can honestly say that on this specific visit, our service, drinks, and food were fantastic! The food is consistently good– I would suggest that the«must try’s» on the menu are the buffalo chicken flat bread, and the chicken nachos. The Mario Italian Sub, and potstickers are also very solid.

Mediocre. Drinks are a bit pricey, the bruschetta was good but that’s about it. Our waitress gave us the impression she did not want to be there and we got our food 2 mins after we got our appetizer. The baked macaroni was good but the chicken street tacos were just ok. They come with chips not a tortilla. Better place for drinks, not dinner.

Happy Hour=All you need to know about Bar Louie! Me and my happy hour partner sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and pleasant. We each had 2 beers. 2 Sam Adams Octoberfest and 2 Sam Adams Lager draughts. We also ordered, over ordered I might add, the chicken quesadilla, bruschetta and wings because they were all happy hour apps. Our bill came to a whopping $ 32! Even if the apps and drinks sucked, which they didn’t, you still can’t beat that price! So I highly recommend the Happy Hour at Bar Louie if you’re looking for greasy bar apps and cold draughts for cheap! It was great! Take Bar Louie for what it is, a bar. Don’t expect to get some 5 course/5 star meal. It has BAR in the title for goodness sakes. The end :)
