Apparently Michael Kors is the new Coach in terms of high end things you don’t need but decide to covet anyway. As a vegan, I would never actually shop here myself. I came here to get a gift certificate only so I can’t speak to the product from my own experience but I will say this: The products I did see felt over-priced and not as good of a quality as other brands I have owned in the past. A lot of the designs I saw were super trendy which I guess is great for some people but if I am going to be spending $$$ for a bag, that thing had better look nice for more than one or two seasons. Items like this do not retain their value and I feel like these kinds of purchases are a waste. My guess is I didn’t quite look like their demographic but none of the staff were quick to greet me or offer assistance. I stood by the register behind another customer for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Once I did get to the register, the cashier had to be reminded about what I actually wanted a couple of times and — most irritatingly — they entered me into their system as a customer even though I said that I didn’t want to be. My guess is for«just in case the card gets lost» but really, I don’t want to receive emails or catalogs from them. In the future, I will just get a visa gift card.

I was very excited that another designer store opened here in Columbus. But like my review about Louis Vuitton, I’m very disappointed about the lack of men’s merchandise. Not only that, but their big«Michael Kors» logo outside is very misleading since all their merchandise is actually Michael Michael Kors, and not their higher end stuff. You can tell the difference because«Michael Michael Kors» has the big«MK» logos, whereas the higher end stuff is cleaner. Unlike Easton’s Louis Vuitton, which at least has men’s accessories and bags; this store doesn’t even have men’s watches. It’s a pretty big disappointment.

I was very excited to receive earrings and the logo MK flats for my birthday from my husband, but within a week, the heels had rubbed off after maybe 3 wears(I work in an office building). We returned them and exchanged for a new pair. Now I’m less than 24 hours in on the new shoes and sure enough, the heels have rubbed almost totally off. I called and talked to a sales person who told me «oh that’s totally normal unfortunately», when just returning the other pair yesterday, I was told it was not. They weren’t cheap shoes and I feel like my husbands’ money was wasted. Will not be going back there.

My wife is big into his designs so whenever I’m in town I sure have something on my list to bring back to Germany. The folks working there are very helpful when I come in with my printed list of products I’m looking for. For sure I will be lost being in there by myself. Never went out with nothing in my bag. Always with less in my wallet but compared to Germany I still save some money. :-)

I forget what used to be in this building but now it’s a Michael Kors! They have been open for a couple of months now amidst all of the changes and new stores going on at Easton. They have a small selection of shoes but what they really offer are the handbags. Lots of them! Totes, clutches, purses, wallets, etc. they are here. They also have the really cool Kors watches but they have something else I did not know they carried. Jewelry! They carry some very nice bracelets, earrings, and rings at affordable prices ranging from 48 $ on up. I really liked the bracelets and rings that looked like belts with buckles. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made for a great browsing experience. If you like his stuff then I suggest you get yourself in here. I’m seriously considering going back for one of those bracelets.
