Great master barber & Great staff. I’ve had a beard on/off for 5 years, but usually ended up shaving it due to different barbers(and myself) trimming it poorly. Ever since I started going to their current barber Charles in 2014 I’ve had one of the best looking beards around. He takes the barber business seriously & takes pride in his work. The price isn’t cheap, but it’s more than fair, as it’s the only spot in central Ohio to get a great Beard trim.

I’m not sure if this is a franchised business or not, but this review is specific to the online store. I bought a facial cleansing kit for my dad for father’s day. It was a little pricey, but whatever. I’ve heard good stuff its a gift, so you know your going to pay a little more than you would normally. However, much to my chagrin it decides to double order for me. Yep, I placed one order check my email and have two confirmation numbers. I contact my bank to cancel one of these charges on to find out it has placed three charges for 86.40 on my account, that’s a pretty decent wtf mate kind of moment. Still not too worried about it. I call the help line number, but guess what its Saturday and they are closed. Still not worried. I send an email explaining the double order issue and the three charges. Instead of a timely response thanking me for being a first time customer I get a shipping confirmation for two orders. Again, not sweating it, my brother’s birthday is around the corner I will just give him the extra one. The thing that really gets my goat about this shit is this little gem. When I checked out I authorized a payment for 85.50 including shipping and tax on a 75.00 skin care gift bag. I was charged 86.40 three times. I look at the frequently asked questions. One of them states«I was charged more than I authorized» the answer and this is no fucking joke says, «All prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-the-minute information on pricing and availability. However, some of the items on our website may be mis-priced or no longer available at the time you place your order. «WTF man do you think you are selling seafood or something that you can pull some priced by market bullshit. What this company is doing is overcharging everyone! A buck here and there add up to a shit ton of extra profit for some already overpriced shit. This is the last time I use this boutique shaving company. It tries to come of as new age manliness, but its really a prepubescent company using passive aggressive tactics to make an extra buck.

Gentlemen, have you always wondered just what the lady-folk love about going to a spa and getting a facial? Well… a Royal Shave from Carol with the Art of Shaving at Easton might clue you into the joys of having your face pampered. I was excited to have an Art of Shaving move in to Easton late last year and was disappointed it took them a month to train in a new barber. But… as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. In this case, the good thing is Carol, a consummate professional and personable barber who will ensure that you are treated right during the course of your shave. The Royal Shave is an expensive proposition at $ 55 plus tip, but well worth it for the experience. The other staff members at the store are ready to help and provide excellent customer service. The all-natural products seem expensive at first glance, but tend to last much longer(a regular sized container of AOS shaving cream lasts me a year… and I could easily go through several $ 5 Gilette cans in that same time). Bottom line: Visit Carol. She rocks.
