DONOT come in here in the evening or on the weekends. I’ve been in stores with minimal space but my god. Where the heck do people walk? The checkout line is wrapped around and between folks trying to browse. Do yourself a favor and shop online, you’ll get better/greater discounts anyway.

I purchased a Group on to try The Body shop and ended up spending $ 6.00 more than if I would have walked in and bought the products. They don’t allow you to use any sales when using Group on. I guess they don’t want return customers.

One of my favorite stores in Easton and why I always buy a Groupon to come here. Today I sampled their new early harvest raspberry body butter. I swear it smells identical to Jeni’s ice cream! I would not eat it but oh man, you would definitely fall in love with this new scent they have there. Today everything was half off and that was wonderful but with my Groupon I only wanted specific items. Therefore, I looked mostly at the tea tree line. The ladies here are always so nice and can suggest what’s great for any skin type. Mine so happens to be combination skin because I break out every so often with acne. So I use the tea tree line which works wonders on my skin. A dab goes a long way, don’t over do it because the salicylic acid is strong on the skin. My sister used to be my personal shopper here for me before so I got to sample everything through her. It was wonderful and now I’m a big girl and buy what suits me and my skin. After all, we all want to look our best don’t we?

I was a little disappointed, after not shopping here since high school(when going to the mall was cool) I stopped in looking for some mostly chemical free moisture for my skin. Their ingredients are not as bad as bath and body works, but it seems like everyone has gone the way of the chemicals to make a uniform shelf stable product. Surprisingly, I did find some deodorant here that met my approval. That is probably the only thing I would go back for.

If you read my review of the Aveda store in Easton, then you will enjoy this one because I had a polar opposite experience at The Body Shop. THIS is what customer service is. I needed to get a gift for mother’s day and I try to support companies that use natural materials. So, of course I went to The Body Shop(they are cruelty free as well!) I was asked maybe twice if I needed help. I said no and they left me alone. When I found what I was looking for, I went to check out. I noticed the petition to stop human trafficking and was elated! I volunteer with an organization locally who works to fight human trafficking so I commented on how happy I was to see the petition. The sales person was knowledgeable of the various local volunteer groups that fight the issue and told me a little bit more about the work they do to help them. They had a special going on where you could buy a huge pink bag for $ 12 and everything you put inside would be 30%. Well, I didn’t want the bag because it was too pink for me, but the saleslady told me that getting the bag would actually bring my bill down and that she could donate the bag to Gracehaven(one of the local orgs fighting human trafficking) if I didn’t want it. Yes! Awesome! Then she gave me a bunch of samples and coupons. How awesome! The whole experience was really pleasant and they weren’t pushy at all. I will continue to go back to The Body Shop because of it. Oh, and their products are awesome too!
