I recently stopped in here after lunching at Pita Hut. The bakery is very small, but definitely a hidden gem in Clintonville area. I ended up purchasing a Bavarian cream puff for $ 2. The cream was to die for… very creamy and just right. They got their cream puffs right. I’d like to try more of their bakery treats in the future and see what happens. I’m a fan as of now based on my own experience. I like the fact that they are reasonable in prices and very good on customer service.

Best donuts ever, and they are baked. And the bread is still awesome.

I bought my daughters baptism cake from here. The cake was beautiful and delicious, all my guests were raving about it. Looked them up on facebook, and found an album full of wonderfully decorated cakes. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Very friendly husband and wife team. Easy to work with and if they don’t know the characters you want they will research and find you a few options. I have had the husband quote me one price and the wife give me another. We got my daughter a Plants vs Zombies cake from here. Tasty chocolate with Oreo cream cake. My kids loved it! Only bakery brought cake they’ve ever fully finished. I do think the prices are a bit high, though they do good work. I would only order a full cake for the«milestone» birthdays or special occasion. I love their tiramisu! It’s the best in the area hands down!

This is a great local bakery in Clintonville! I stopped in with my 2 boys to grab some dessert to take home. The owners were so kind and friendly. After much deliberation, we settled on chocolate covered brownies, tiramisu, and some tiny cupcakes. All were divine! I will definitely be back to order birthday cakes for my kids!

Hot Cross Buns… and NO, it’s not that annoying song every kid knows how to play on a recorder! Okay, so here’s the deal… It was a Sunday and I was just looking for some sugary eats to tame my sweet-tooth. Mozart’s was PACKED and even their display case was almost empty, so enter Cakes and More and thanks to my handy-dandy Unilocal App… finding this place was very easy. It’s right off high street in one of the older strip malls. If you’ve passed a Goodyear, then you’ve gone too far. I was actually thank-ful, because not many bakeries host Sunday hours, but Cakes and More was open and glad to be there! This tiny little bakery is very Mom and Pop. it’s just a tiny family run business where you’ll see the kids tinkering in the back with toys while the rest are hard at work making delicious sugary delights. See those Chocolate covered butterfly contraptions? They’re a shortbread cookie, slathered with their home-made butter cream and covered in a thin layer of chocolate. If you’re a freak like me and LOVE some delicious icing, then you’ll really like this cookie. They had some REALLY delicious sounding slices of cake that I had to pass up on this time, but I may have to make a return trip to try these out. This little place also carried danishes, cinnamon rolls, breads and HOTCROSSBUNS as their little banner proudly displays. The husband really liked these, but I’m more of a cake and cookies type of gal and my cravings were easily appeased. I would gladly return here, but it’s not something I’d really drives miles out of the way to get to, but local foodies should support this tiny little Mom and Pop place! It’s a great little hole in the wall gem.

The selection and service are amazing. I love supporting businesses in my neighborhood and this is one of the best. This family owned bakery will make you glad you stopped in. Be prepared to leave with more than you planned on.

The selection is not large but they have high quality items. Danish are available in cheese, almond and varying fruit flavors for $ 2.25. The croissants were just available in plain but a bargain at $ 1/each. The house bread makes an amazing sandwich but make sure to buy & eat in the same day! It’s a soft sub-like roll for under a dollar. I’m getting some for my next picnic.

This is a relatively new bakery that sits next to Pita Hut & Grill(not Target). It’s a pretty small store with just two cases for baked goods. After reading Nijole’s review, I knew I had to try it. It’s the closest bakery to my home. I bought a piece of cake and a danish to eat now. I’m saving the cake until after dinner tonight. I met the owner of the shop and he’s a nice guy. I’m sure I’ll be a regular customer.

Right next to Target on High Street I noticed the cake sign and knew I had to stop by and see what they had. A great variety of goods in a small store for a fair price. They had cookies from 20 – 50 cent a piece so I got a few and they were exotic and different but tasty nonetheless. Cupcakes cheap at $ 1.25 a piece and decent but not earth shattering. The eclaire was good, but still noone can touch the anrgy baker it that department. The pecan bun fresh and tasty, also nt the best I have had. They had beautiful cakes(passionfruit/guava anyone?) and french pastries but I just wanted a small sample of the goods and they did well. The owners are nice, the food is fresh, a nice bakery and worth a try.
