I’ve tried for months to cancel my membership. They refuse to acknowledge the email I sent (which I have a copy of) or take my cancellation over the phone. They want me to come into their gym to cancel. This is so high pressure, 1980’s management.
All I want is to cancel. Heck, I’ve never even used the membership. When I said I would escalate this complaint to stop the membership and wanted my money back from the time I told them I want to cancel till now the man told me they would fight me.
When I told him I would post this situation to online review sites the man told me he could do the same against my business.

Do not get a contract with this place. I paid for a 15 month membership up front and paid for an «annual fee» in November of 2012 on top of that membership. I go to cancel my agreement because I have moved out of the area and they never get the letter that they say you have to provide to cancel because they changed addresses and never told anyone, then they make me come in to cancel and I later look at my bank account and they charged me the «annual fee» again along with a monthly fee. This place has been a nightmare to deal with!
