Happy’s Pizza

this is redonkulous. 3 hours… 3 hours. wait let me back up and start this retardation from the beginning.
placed an online order at 2:43 pm on 02-​09-​2016. The eta was an hour. called back an hour and a half later; Lady says driver is on the way to store. 30 minutes later, she says he’s not where he’s supposed to be. says on his way back. 30 minutes later a second driver would be out momentarily and we were first on the list. 15 minutes later (we live like 5 minutes down the street when driving) we cancel order. no crack head driver in sight. at 5:27 pm crack head driver, 1, 2, or 3 or whoever shows up at door with food we ain’t about to sign off on. Asked him if he knew it was canceled. He said no. Got no copy of receipt. (whatev) called crack head lady back AGAIN and let her know where her driver was. she said she had already canceled it and called him… so one or more of these people are clearly exerting features of a crack head. Let you decide.
P. S. she said we could’ve just took the order… lol not a chance. Claimed to cancel the credit card payment. Called our bank and were told that it was still pending. Thanks for making us wait. Oh and btw. We called our bank for fear these people are not even trustworthy and made us seriously concerned about our card info.
We’ve ordered from there a few times in distant pass, but wouldn’t recommend it as, SOME THING is ALWAYS wrong. But this time, it was completely over the top and that’s what made us suspect ACTUAL CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR… and no, this is not just a random bad experience.

This place has the worst customer service ever. It took almost 3 hrs for us to get our food delivered and it was ice cold. The workers that answer the phone are rude and the quality of the food would have tasted better out of a dumpster… will never get food from here again!

My wife suggested we try Happy’s Pizza and I’m glad she did! Pizza, wings and rib tips that were all delicious. Recommended!

Normally, I’m very happy with Happys. Tonight, I’ve waited over an hour for delivery and they keep telling us ‘it’s on it’s way.’

Ordered from here first time last night and will order from there again! We got a thin crust pepperoni and banana peppers, rib tips and jalapeño poppers. The pizza was really good! The sauce is great and had a tinge of sweetness which we really liked. The only thing I would do next time is ask for it a little crispier — otherwise we enjoyed it! The rib tips were good too — dripping in really good bbq sauce. Next time will try a slab of ribs. The menu is extensive and we already have decided to try a sub next order. Delivery guy was very nice, told us he made our pizza himself and recommended the bbq we ordered. He thanked me for the generosity of a tip and hoped we enjoyed our first order and that we ordered again. We will order again and can’t wait to try different things off the menu!

**update* *The owner called and the manager is no longer with the company and made it right.**
I ordered food and when it arrived it was missing a item paid for. I connected the store and they said they would send it back out immediately. 30 minutes later I called back to be told that they would send the item now. After getting the item over a hour and 20 minutes after i ordered the original item was cold. I spoke with «Al» the manager and he told me to reheat and HUNG UP on me when I suggested I wanted to come up and swap the uneaten food with a fresh item. I drove to the store myself and picked up a fresh item. When I finally got a hold of the store owner he also said he needed to disconnect the call to check on the store and said he would call me back. He never did, even after several calls back to him.

I have ordered from Happy’s several times for delivery.
I must say they are fast and the food has always been great.
I have tried many of the items off the menu and they have all been good.
My personal favorite is the ribs.
The only downside is when they call to verify your order they ask for the tip up front.
I am one of those people that it depends on how long it takes to get my food is to how much I will tip the driver.
I do like that they call to verify the order though.

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a popcorn shrimp dinner, which came with fries and cole slaw. The pizza tasted similar to Little Caesar’s. Why pay Happy’s prices when you can get the same thing for $ 5 somewhere else? The shrimp was okay, but the fries were great – reminded me of the ones at Five Guys. We didn’t care for the cole slaw. Based upon complaints that other reviewers had about delivery, I decided to pick-​up the order. The outside entrance was littered with a ton of cigarette butts; not very appetizing. I can’t help but wonder if they belonged to the employees, since one of them was standing there smoking when I arrived. The inside of the restaurant was clean, but the staff wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. Overall, it was okay but not great. I won’t object to going back if someone else wants to try it, but I won’t bother returning on my own.

Last visit was today. Thought I was on to something after my first visit, but it’s never been the same since. And on at least a couple of occasions (this was probably my 4^th or 5^th chase of that 1^st time experience) with my same order of 4 whole wings I’m sure the chicken ‘wasn’t even fresh, so didn’t eat it. Location and convenience are probably the only reasons I tried that many times.

I can write this review based on my order today, which was the first time eating there. Thought I would give it a try, and not because of the million-​plus menus jammed in my door over the past year… If anything that was why I waited so long.
This was a call in order for delivery and they arrived a little after the time stated, but you know– it’s freakin’ cold out and if I cared that much, I’d have picked it up myself.
We ordered the burgers, primarily due to this being the only shop in the area that delivers other food than pizza and chicken. If you are used to living on campus for so many years then move away– you know that this is an option you will soon miss.
Here is my warning when ordering: don’t order if you are starving. Have someone with their mind in the right place order. These are large portions. The burgers are huge and well cooked. The fries are plentiful and even dessert is big.
Pricing seems steep at first until you see how much you get. Hint: a large fry can feed 2 adults or 3 – 4 children.
As far as service no real complaints, they are better than a few places in this neighborhood I’ve reviewed. Our order was correct and it was good. It’s not like this is a sit down restaurant. It’s take out, with that in mind, just know it is above average in comparison for fast food with options and quality of food is moderately better than fast food but won’t beat going to a chain like Champp’s or Friday’s.
The question: would I eat here again? I’d say very likely. Again, they are the only shop in this neighborhood that delivers burgers and fish and chicken.

Just ordered it for the first time on Thursday and was really impressed with there Pizza… terrific crust and outstand taste of the pepperoni and onion pizza!

Worst service in the city. None of their staff should be employed in a position where they need to interact with customers.

Pizza isn’t memorable. Greasy! Wings are just OK. Call to order to 9min just to talk to someone for pickup. After I ordered it took 20min FOR PICKUP!.. I just wanted to try it but wasn’t impressed. I would not go back.

After eating at the Cleveland location I was kind of disappointed. My sub was supposed to be hot. It was not (but the fries were… hmmm). It also seemed to be lacking in flavor.
My kids ordered the pizza, of course, and it was pretty tasty.
I will give them another try and hopefully I will updating to at least 4 stars.

I’m not sure how I feel about this visit. Since MY food was good, I’ll give three stars for now.
I ordered two rib tip combos and a two piece chicken and fries. I lucked up, although my portion was small for what I paid, it was still good. My poor husband got tips that were mostly fat and gristle. We didn’t bother taking them back, didn’t feel like the drive. I tasted the fried chicken and was not impressed at all. It tasted old, like it had sat under a heat lamp too long. I must say the place was very busy with call in orders, delivery and a steady stream of walk in customers.
Like I said, I’m torn on this one, it’s a brand new spot and I’m willing to give it another chance. Next time I’ll call ahead because it was at least a 25 minute wait. Also I was not given the special rate on the dinner specials, I discovered this after I got home.
So my next visit I’ll call ahead, try another menu item and pay attention to my bill.

This restaurant just opened up next to Roses and where the old Big Bear used to be. I’m surprised that I’m first to review because it’s been open a month now.
The sell pizza and anything remotely resembling a pizza. That’d be sandwiches, rib tips, desserts, shrimp, fish, you get the idea. And the food is good. I had the rib tip dinner and the pizza.
And the folks are nice! The took back the rest of my rib tips and exchanged it for a sandwich when I couldn’t chew it. Good people!
