Consistently great food. Very pricy, but that’s what you expect with Camron Mitchell. I especially like the size of this restaurant, one good sized room that was recently renovated and sound proofed. Great choice for dinner.

Our reservation for two, was for 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. After being promptly seated we then ended up waiting until 7:55pm before anyone knew we were there. Evidently our waitress just didn’t see us because she was busy with a regular’s birthday or something. I would have normally let this kind of a start to dinner affect my mood, but once we got ahold of someone it steered back on coarse for a truly exceptional dining experience. Because of our wait, we received our Cucumber Smash cocktails(pineapple vodka, jalapeño agave, and cucumber+ awesome) and some fried goat cheese risotto balls for free! Then came the bread… holy crap. They bake it in house and they give you a steamed whole garlic clove to spread on you bread with butter! It’s insane. Like ridiculous. The chop and wedge salads were huge and fresh. Our entrees were cooked perfectly and seasoned with a love. I had the best lamb I’ve ever eaten and their strip with wild mushrooms and onions was to die for. We capped the night with some Irish coffee. Total cost for two, $ 112. Worth every penny.

This a refreshing Resturant. I was born and raised down the street. I have lived in San Francisco for the past 25 years. My mom lives in Powell. Everything was wonderful. Three read reasonably priced and the atmosphere was very up scale. I will be back.

Was there last night(Saturday). Was not impressed at all. I got the walleye and my wife got the short ribs. Both were delicious, it was the server who was average. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes for our drink order to even be taken. It went downhill from there. I had to wait for the manager to stop by after the entrée to request coffee and dessert menus. The only bright spot in the service was actually the bus boy, who I had to wave off a couple of times, because my water was more than a sip or 2 below the rim of the glass. I think I’ll stick with Ocean Club or Cap City when I want a Cameron Mitchell restaurant.

This place is so darned good I don’t know where to start. First, the service was impeccable. Second, the food was excellent. Third, the understatedly elegant décor added to the overall experience. Somewhat pricy, but you get what you’re paying for here. I can’t believe we’ve never eaten here given that it’s the mothership of the CM restaurants.

Camerons is a classic. I am going to list a couple negatives first then end on the high note. To write a slam about it being too noisy is pointless. It has always been noisy, will always be noisy. The only reason to mention it is for those who have not been there to alert them. Alert: it is noisy. If you have elderly parents you want to treat to dinner, or want to break up with your significant other, this is not the place because you will not be able to hear each other or have a quiet conversation. Another cautionary note: women dining with other women do not get as good service as when they are accompanied by men. Unfortunately, the servers here perpetuate the myth that women are lousy tippers(interestingly another place where this is true is Ocean Club, another Cameron Mitchell restaurant). They give less than their best service in anticipation, then get less of a tip because of it. Self-fulfilling prophesy. Alert: most of the women I know are professionals with good paying jobs and tip more than the men I know. Unfortunately, I am so continually irked by this in restaurants that I dropped a star off the rating because of it. I feel a bit like a hypocrite for continuing to go in there when in mixed company, but I steer ladies night dinners to other, more gender friendly establishments. Lastly, the bar is always slow at this restaurant. Expect to wait. And wait. And wait for your drink. What’s good? You can have what you want to eat prepared the way you want it prepared, and it will always taste amazing. Cameron’s just serves great food. And, if you decide to split a meal or any item off the menu, they dress up the presentation in a way that doesn’t make you feel like they think you’re being cheap. We split meals because we try to manage our portion size. It’s very nice not to get an eye roll from the server when we ask. My vote for best menu item is the mushroom gnocchi starter. It is so rich, I don’t know if one person could eat a whole portion, but for two it is a decadent taste and textural experience. I’ll be back — just not with the girls.

Visiting from florida, we had an amazing meal. Walleye was fantastic and the lemon cheesecake was unbelievable — I ordinarily don’t like cheesecake! Matt Walton the Sous chef came out to help explain everything and was extremely friendly and helpful. Great service as well. This is a great place

Gourmet comfort food! We arrived late on a midweek evening, in search of a classy satisfying meal yet unaware of their hours. The service was impeccable! My dear friend and guest for the night is British and felt treated like a queen. She had the flat bread for an appetizer with a glass of red, I had the house bread with a whole bulb of roasted garlic to spread along with butter. For dinner she had shrimp and grits, I had fried catfish with cornbread and fried eggplant. All I can say is delicious! The night ended beautifully because of our stop here. We had a savory sensory overload that made us slow down to enjoy every bite. Phones were off the table for this stop so no photos to share, it is a must experience for yourself type of dining event. Enjoy!

Still a great choice… This is Cameron’s first restaurant. Still a great restaurant. The food is very good, the service is attentive, the bar is spot on, and the managers do a great job. It can get a little crowded on the weekends, because there aren’t a lot of other good restaurants nearby. But you can’t go wrong here. I don’t understand some of the snippy reviews are about.

Wow I’m still going wow… it was that awesome to me and its one of my new places Id like to go to for special occasions or for the whatever about it… I really really liked it… my husband and I went on our date night and we really liked the whole ambiance of the place. We started out with ordering cocktails, I got a Cosmo and he got the Red Whiskey… very good… our server Rachel, explained to us about their special red and white wine deal but I was in a martini kind of mood. They delivered some really good warm bread with butter and roasted garlic… um really I love roasted garlic and now you got my attention… I ordered shrimp cocktail as my appetizer and my husband got the oysters bingo… oh yes I love their shrimp soaked in house made horseradish sauce… tingly nose sensations… yay…for our main entrees I got the rack of lamb and my husband got the shrimp and grits… my lamb was medium rare and had English peas, carrots, and pearl onions and a potato gratin… mmmmmmm I was in hog heaven… ok so the Mr.‘s must of been good because he never even offered me a taste… um ok what a butthead… anyhow we were too full to partake of any desserts so I can’t comment on that but oh yeah we will be back… glad we finally made it in here… we will be back.

I had not been here since I was much younger, but my gf got a coupon in the mail for a free entrée, so we stopped up there early on a weekend. We were not able to sit down in the dining room, but there were 2 open seats at the bar, so we swooped those. Bartender was on point, my gf’s dirty vodka martini was good. She ordered the salmon and I had the Seafood Pasta– Both were very good, the shrimp/calamari were plentiful, but the scallops were a disappointment– Small and only received 3. I like going to Cameron Mitchell restaurants– Service is always good, and the meals are usually top notch. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it.

This was one of the few Cameron Mitchell restaurants that I hadn’t tried, so when I received a coupon for BOGO entrees, I figured it was time to try it out. The restaurant can be a little hard to find as it is in a small strip mall; not your typical Cameron Mitchell location. I called a few days before and tried to make a reservation for a Sunday night. No such luck, the earliest they had was 9:30PM… So we decided to arrive on the earlier side with the hopes of getting a table, but the wait was already an hour at 5:15, so we put our name in and headed to the Crafty Pint across the street. About 20 minutes later, Cameron’s called saying the table was ready! I was shocked, and also slightly disappointed that I had to abandon my beer at Crafty Pint, but we promptly headed back over. I ordered the salmon and my roommate had the scallops. Both were delicious and seemed to be on the same level as seafood dishes from Fish Market and Cap City. In fact, the salmon tasted and looked almost identical to the salmon dish at Cap City. To end our meal, we ordered carrot cake and we were not disappointed. It was served warm with fresh cream cheese icing and candied carrots on top. YUM! This is a great romantic restaurant for a birthday or anniversary, it’s small and quiet. But if you’re looking for a place for just an every day dinner or a place to take kids, I would choose Cap City or Fish Market over Cameron’s.

This restaurant is always excellent. My wife and I have been going there for years. I think it’s one of his best. The Dixie Chicken is probably the best fried chicken in town. The Red Whiskey is a great cocktail. Our favorite menu item is the carrot cake. Its not your traditional heavy carrot cake. I don’t have words to describe how good this cake is. I like to try new things when I go to a restaurant, however this cake is so good I order it every time. My wife and I have eaten at most of the Cameron’s restaurants, and agree this one is the best. The Pearl may have a better location, but Cameron’s is worth the drive.

One of the best CM restaurants! The place was intimate, not superly grand and felt kinda homey and friendly. Somehow, one of the things I loved from my visit was the free yet delicious roasted garlic bread, haha. It was so amazing that I asked for another round. I ordered the oyster and it was kinda creamy and heavy for an appetizer but it was delicious. There were 3 oysters, and I felt one of them was not super fresh, but not making a big deal out of it. It’s Ohio anyway, freshness sometimes get sacrificed. I ordered the rack of lamb, it has this crunchiness on the outside that I liked, and the sauce helped to give more flavor, although a little bit too salty for me. It came with this big portion of baked potato, which was nice again, but kinda too heavy and creamy. I was looking for something to clean my palate and lighten it up. For dessert, we ordered the warm chocolate cake, and for me, as long as you have that ice cream and warm gooey cake, I am all satisfied. Overall, a good restaurant, will come back for sure.

So delicious. The roasted garlic with the bread is amazing. We got the calamari and zucchini chips as an appetizer — the zucchini chips were very similar to those at Marcella’s(another one of Cameron Mitchell’s restaurants) and were delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits, with no sausage because I am pescatarian. The waitress was very accommodating and the meal came out perfect. Boyfriend ordered the walleye and potato purée. Both of us loved our meals and were stuffed by the end — great portion sizes. The dining room is definitely small, but doesn’t feel overcrowded. The meal ended up being a bit more expensive than we usually do, but so worth it. I can’t wait to go back!

First visit to this outpost of the ever expanding Cameron Mitchell empire for a Date Night dinner. Cameron’s American Bistro is smaller and more intimate than some of the other CM restaurants, but better for it I think. It also feels less contrived than some of the newer CM restaurants like The Pearl and Hudson 29. For starters my wife went with the Caesar Salad, which she enjoyed. I had the Bingo Oysters which were freaking awesome. Oysters on the half shell with a cheese crust? Please and thank you. Seriously, if you don’t have these with dinner I will point and laugh at you. Our main courses were Filet Mignon for my wife and Braised Beef Short Rib for me. Both were excellent, playing to Cameron Mitchell’s strengths – cow-based protein. I actually prefer the American Bistro version of Filet Mignon to the Ocean Club version. The demi glacé around the filet was very tasty. Special mention goes to the roasted garlic served with the bread – awesome stuff. I try not to fill up on bread and butter before dinner, but I couldn’t help myself because of the butter/garlic combo. And I don’t feel bad about it either. As always, the service was excellent. I think I’ve found my new favorite Cameron Mitchell restaurant.

A hidden gem in the Linworth neighborhood off of 161, Cameron’s is one of our favorite Cameron Mitchell restaurants. It’s a restaurant with a fairly intimate setting, quiet, and perfect for a date. I took my wife here for our anniversary dinner on 9÷10÷14. We’ve been coming here on and off for about 5 years now, and we’ve yet to have a bad meal here. All of their entrees are excellent, and reasonably priced. One thing that’s pretty unique about this restaurant is that they will bring out a whole clove of roasted garlic to use as a spread on your bread. For those of you worried about your breath afterwards, they have complementary mouth wash in the bathroom. lol.

Went for a birthday dinner and we all had an excellent meal. It started with amazing, still-warm sourdough bread served with butter and roasted garlic. The garlic really made it amazing. I ordered the vegetable plate but requested that it be made vegan. The server knew exactly what needed to be changed to make it vegan: grill the eggplant instead of breaded eggplant, take off the cheese, and no ravioli. But she also noted that the chef would be sure to make the other vegetable selections bigger to make up for the ravioli that I can’t eat. So I ended up with grilled eggplant in marinara sauce, grilled squash and peppers, and a quinoa salad that reminded me of tabbouleh. All three were amazing except that the grilled squash and peppers were over salted. I’m sure they would have happily remade it, but it wasn’t a big enough problem for me to mention to our server. Though I expected difficulties with my vegan requirements, it was a surprisingly delicious vegan meal! The rest of my family got walleye, catfish, and a seafood pasta. They all raved about their dishes. And to top the meal off, my mom got a complimentary desert for her birthday. Wonderful meal and service!

Cameron’s just went under a great remodel of both the store and the menu. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it is a Cameron Mitchell Restaurant… so I knew that going in(fortunately my old job use to give me a gift card every year for the holidays… so thats always a nice way to soften the blow). I do know that whenever I got to cameron’s though I’m always in for an experience. I’ve met the executive chef so I’m always pleased with my menu choices.(they make an awesome short rib). give it a try next time you are in dublin.
