No signs on the building and an empty parking lot, say it ain’t so!!! My office just moved to right across the street and was my go to for a break. Erika at The bar was always friendly and on top of the service.

Expensive food and slow service. We were seated by the bay window with a view of the kitchen. I saw the cook put our order up in windows and waited at least ten minutes for it to get to us. When we got it our food was cold and my toasted bun was burnt. The guacamole on my burger was really bland, like it had been sitting out all day. I would recommend that you only go if its slow and you have a coupon. Addendum: We filled out one of their online surveys and the manager contacted us and sent us a gift card to try it again. We plan to in the next couple of weeks.

Champp’s is a good, all-American restaurant. It’s got a huge menu with something for everyone, which is why we frequent the place. We know that, when we’re not sure what we want till we sit down, Champp’s will provide. The service is usually pretty good. The food is the same — just portions are a little big. They’ve tamed them since 2000, but still freakin’ huge. We always have to box something up. Love the apps. Wish they’d bring back the plain and chicken nachos(they did for a short period of time — part of their«throw back» menu — but it’s gone again). We’ll keep comin’ back.

I really enjoy going to Champps on Friday nights for the trivia. The trivia«director» is a great guy, and I enjoy playing(even though it’s pretty tough!) Top three winners get gift cards to use(but it’s a bummer; I don’t think you can use them that night). The food, while not bad, is nothing outstanding, and I think it’s pretty overpriced. Same goes for the drinks — they’re typical bar drinks, but very pricey — and there never seem to be any specials. The staff is super friendly, and I respect that a lot in any restaurant. And the setting is good as well — it’s not too loud, but a good place for good company. There are plenty of large TVs positioned around so you can always stay tuned. All in all, I would say this place draws business for the trivia(that’s my excuse, anyway) but if it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t choose to go there. But that’s just me, and I like cheap and unique.

I’m giving this Champps four stars because of the trivia on Fridays, which is the only time I ever come here. I’m surprised no one else has mentioned it. JD is a fun trivia host, and the actual trivia is challenging, though not to the point of being impossible to answer. They use National Trivia Association questions in a seven-round format — general knowledge, photo identification, sports, name that tune, history/geography, entertainment and more general knowledge. First-, second– and third-place winners get the typical $ 30, $ 20 and $ 10 gift certificates that most places around here award. The trivia starts at 9 on Fridays. Most nights, you can get away with getting there only 15 minutes or so beforehand and you can still get a table for your group. You can have up to «10-ish» people on your team. Food: Overpriced for the quality, but it’s not terrible. Drinks: Same. I’m never there when they have drink specials going on, though — that would make a difference. Service: Usually great. Sports-watching: The TVs here are huge and plentiful.

For me this place is very chain-store, impersonal, sports rah rah. The food is okay, but uneventful. If you want a sandwich with a grocery store beer while watching the game — this is your place. Turns out to be a good«lowest common denominator» type place when you’re looking for someplace to go with coworkers. No one hates it, but I don’t love it.

We would highly recommend! We called ahead a couple hours before our meeting and had our table reserved. We walked in and they showed us promptly to our table. Our waitress Beverly was awesome! She was very patient and attentive as we were having a meeting and we were there for quite some time. She also is a great photographer! Two of the ladies got an awesome grilled cheese that wasn’t even on the menu. Thank you! We would definitely consider going back to Champps for another great evening.

I highly recommend the mandarin orange margarita! Wednesday Night is their fajita night… a generous entrée. Their appetizers make a great, quick lunch! Champps is near my office and it is where I like to meet friends for lunch. Service is quick and good, and hot food is delivered quickly. It is a fun place to meet for Happy Hour or to watch sporting events; plenty of televisions. Their Chicken Satay appetizer is my favorite meal!

Great service tonight… Jamie was awesome! However my meal was lacking. I simply wanted a salad and ordered the BBQ Chopped salad. It was supposed to have avocado in it and there was not any to be found. Other than that minor issue, just another typical meal in just another typical chain restaurant.

This is what the menu says: A tomato tortilla stuffed with tender sliced turkey, provolone cheese, sun dried tomato, grilled squash, zucchini, red onions, red peppers and dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. This is what you get: A tomato tortilla stuffed with cold chunks of turkey, cold provolone cheese, regular mushy tomatos, cold squash, zucchini, no red onions, no red peppers with no balsamic vinaigrette to speak of. Because it was purchased for me, I didn’t say a word. However, just so you know … there is nothing even remotely styled after Tuscany on this wrap. In fact, you could probably get the same thing in the deli section at Kroger’s.

Great place to watch UFC fights. But the«bar food» was terrible. Also the soups aren’t very good either. Entrees where decent and dessert was yummy. Great bar specials.

I was not at all pleased with my meal here. The service was really great, I’ll give them that. As part of a conference, the committee booked a ton of space in Chammps for a get-together. My table alone had about 20 people at it. A server’s worst nightmare, I’m sure. However, our waitress was quite friendly and pretty prompt, given the number of people in her care. My displeasure is with the kitchen. I don’t make special requests very often because I hate to be one of «those» people, but I don’t normally eat at these types of restaurants, so there wasn’t much on the menu that was appealing to me. I opted for a dish called that was touted in the menu as «shrimp with creamy wine sauce over squash» My tummy isn’t so great with sauve sometimes, so I asked my waitress if it was possible to get the dish made without sauce. She said that it wouldn’t be a problem, so I placed my order accordingly. When it was brought to the table 15 minutes later(not by our waitress), it was swimming in sauce. Understanding that mistakes do happen, I waited for my waitress to return, and before I could even say anything, she noticed the mistake, apologized, and took it back to the kitchen. Another 10 minutes later, a new dish is brought out again with sauce, but this time with more sauce in a bowl on the side. Confused, I asked my waitress why the dish was brought out this way and she said«oh, well there’s two kinds of sauce on the dish, so they took the one off for you.» Huh? I said I wanted NO sauce. Not SOME sauce. So, I told the waitress, «I want just the shrimp and the squash. No sauce or toppings of any type.» She apologized again and took the dish away. When the third dish came out, I kid you not, there was STILLSAUCEONIT. The waitress said«They have to use some sauce on the dish, they can’t just make it plain. So, you have much less sauce than usual.» Are you kidding me? How hard is it to skip the sauce? Knowing that arguing would go nowhere, I just gave up. This was one of the most ridiculous restaurant experience I have ever had. And this is exactly why I don’t visit run-of-the-mill chain restaurants on a regular basis. I do NOT recommend this place.

Very good spots for large groups. Has a wide range of choices. They were very professional and quick to handle our group of 30. It isn’t often that we call restaurants that are eager to take a group.

«Not memorable» is how the previous reviewer put it. Sounds about right. I guess I have a sour taste in my mouth from how long it took for our server to come by and take our order. It was 3pm on father’s day and the place was empty, so why it took 15 minutes to have our waiter come around and ask if we were ready was beyond me. I love my father and can appreciate more quality time with him, but both of us staring at our shut menus while we hungrily await someone to take an order isn’t really quality time. I was unsuccessful in finding any items under $ 10, so I assumed the offering would be at least above what you could expect to get at Applebee’s.(Which isn’t a knock at Applebee’s, I’d gladly take them over Champps.) I ordered a greek salad, my sister had a hamburger with rice, and my dad had a steak salad. Not the most daring selection of food, I know, but if you can’t wow me with the basics, I don’t know how much hope there is for more exotic fare. I guess maybe if you’re looking to eat somewhere that is broadcasting«THEBIGGAME» then Champps might be a good place for you. They seemed to have a number of televisions going, each with some different ball flying around the screen. Didn’t care. All in all, It was just«okay.» Portions on the salads were large(read: lots of lettuce! wooo!) and the hamburger seemed uninspired. Service was poopy. I still had a nice time, being that I was with my family. But I think it would’ve been a nicer and cheaper dinner at the Applebee’s.

Aw, the joys of ordering for the entire office. This place is great for that, since there is at least one entrée that will suit the varying tastes of each of my co-workers. The food is not quite mediocre. Maybe adequate is the right word. Definitely not memorable, but it gets the job done at a decent enough price. The staff are great, though(I’m looking at you, Ashton) and have never given me shit when I ask for copious amounts of ketchup for my weird boss.
