Comfort Suites Columbus West- Hilliard

I was a little surprised, the name is Comfort Suites, so I was expecting a suite and that was not what we had, it was just a regular hotel room. I think that is a bit deceptive.
That being said, nice staff, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, what you would expect. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels. There was a little bit of an odor in the workout room, we just propped the door open and let the air circulate while we were in there. It was a little confusing to get to them because of the weird turns but if you go in at the Keim Ford entrance you’ll be fine!

My lady and I stayed here twice over the course of a week – once on our way up to our vacation destination and once on our way back. For the price the place was nice, and the hot continental breakfast was delightful. Also, the location is superb thanks to its extreme close proximity to I-​70. Lastly, the employee’s were very nice and helpful, calling to alert us when we had left behind a piece of technology in the room upon checking out so that we could return and grab it. Hooray for honesty! I recommend this place for anyone traveling who passes through Columbus.

A great location for overnight casino visit. The building is well kept. Very friendly staff and offered casino promotions. Yes they will tell you where to go (in a nice way). They give a map to casino using backroads.
They have a pool and offer breakfast before 9 during week and 10 on weekends. I can’t rate breakfast, but it was promised add the standard fare of cereal, pastry, juice coffee, etc. The rooms have a couch and deal with big rolling chair. But most importantly a mini fridge and microwave, true sign of civilisation on the road. The shower had water pressure issues, unexpected lose of hot water isn’t cool (more like cold). But the rating comes down to bed had a foam padding to mask lumps.
Could have been worse, could have been better. If you’re going to casino it’s go place to stay. If you’re in the area still decent place.

I broke down on I-​70 last month, and I had nowhere to go. This Comfort Suites was in a perfect location. It is directly next to a Ford dealer with a rental place as well. There is also plenty of food in walking distance So if you’re getting towed BOOK HERE!
This Comfort Suites had the nicest staff. I was so upset because I’m broke as can be and could not afford the forced hotel room situation. They gave me a great rate, pointed me in the right direction for food, and were just really nice. How many chain hotels can you say that about?
The hotel itself is old but fairly well maintained. My suite was nice on both nights that I stayed (one day apart). The breakfast was pretty good. Some warm plus a standard continental breakfast. The pool looked nice, but the hot tub was filled in.
My one and only complaint was that the copper pipes to my bathroom started making sounds like a jackhammer at one in the morning my first night. I wish they would have offered to change my room when I went to the front desk. They were busy trying to figure out where the sound was coming from, but I barely slept the first night. The second night, however, was fantastic!
The manager even followed up after I completed the Choice Hotels survey. Nice touch:

Comfort Suites

We stayed there for one night in late May of 2008. Although the desk staff were very pleasant and the room was a good size, we encountered the following problems: there were a few hairs in the sink, one of the bars of soap was moldy, the faucet sprayed water at us and the shower rod was broken (!). I informed the desk clerk of those things upon our departure — and she was very apologetic & she wrote the manager a note about everything, plus she immediately gave us a 20% discount (which was certainly appropriate, to say the least).

Nice clean place. Breakfast was ok, typical for hotel breakfast. The area is very nice and new. I was not worried about parking my moving truck in the parking lot.
