We really like the location and accommodations, and it’s a good value here but we are very grateful to the staff. A family member accidentally forgot a piece of electronics at the hotel and didn’t realize it until hours after we had checked out. A staff member found the device, turned it into the hotel manager and we got it back without any problems. Thank you Hawthorn Suites management and staff.

Room was very clean. A little outdated but they are getting ready to renovate. They were painting the outside of the hotel when we arrived. So I believe that will truly improve the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. And hopefully it will be renovated when we come back. The girls at the front desk were very friendly… The bed was comfortable and had the preferred duvet on the bed.

This place is gross!!! Should not be considered a 3 star hotel. Super smelly, dated, poorly maintained rooms.

For what this place charges we xpected a bit more. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but the décor throughout seems considerably dated. The carpets were very past their prime and if you travel like we do, ru downplaces do have an atmosphere and certain«smell». This place is in need of serious renovation. The location is in the heart of traffic nightmare central. To get into the place you have to drive down to the dealership, turn left and come around the back which is strange and inconvenient. Coming out it just as odd, if you screw up you are back into the mess of an intersection and somehow have to find a place to turn around, regardless of where you want to go. Next time we are in town, we will look elsewhere and stay here only as a last resort.

We stayed at the location on Keim Circle over the first weekend of Spring Break(March 28-April 3). We had 2 rooms — 1 king &1 double. Each room was only $ 72 per night and it was so spacious. Overall, we were VERY pleased. The rooms were spacious and clean. The indoor heated pool & hot tub were a nice little bonus, and the breakfast had hot items every morning, plus the waffle iron and all the regular stuff like fruit, cereal, pastries, etc. This definately gave us the most bang for our buck! We would absolutely would stay here again. For those of you who would like a little more detail, here ya go! When you walk in, you’re in a living area with a loveseat that folds out to a bed, 2 additional chairs, dresser, VERY large flat screen TV, desk & rolling chair, plus a coffee table.(The pull-out was big enough for our 2&4-year olds to fit on and our 14-year-old in the other room fit fine too, but his feet were right at the edge and he’s 5’9″). Also, there was no bedding on the pull-out bed, nor was there any in the room. We had to call down to get it, and because they are not staffed, except for the front desk, we had to go down and get it. For us this wasn’t a problem because I have 5 kids, so I sent 2 of them down to getting bedding for each of our two rooms! :)(And just a little note about the bedding they provided for the pull-out… the sheets were very, very thin and there were a few holes. I doubled the sheets and the kiddos just the blanket as a cover. The pillows were fine.) Leading from the front living space is a «hallway» that has the bathroom door and and the«kitchen», which consists of a long counter space with a dorm fridge, 2 burner stovetop, built-in microwave, 4-cup coffee maker, sink with garbage disposal, small dishwasher, and a paper towel holder(wtih papertowels!). There are cabinets above the countertop(like a real kitchen); however, there was not much in them. Our room had 1 plate, 2 bowls, a knife and a fork and our other room had 2 plates, 1 bowl, 2 spoons and 1 fork; however, the front office has more of whatever you need and they do their best to be accomodating. All you have to do is ask(and then walk down there and get it because remember… they are not fully staffed.) Having the kitchen space VERY convienent, especially with 3 teenage boys and 2 always-hungry toddlers! The bathroom was clean and very typical with the large counter/sink on one side, the tub/shower on the other, and the commode in the middle. After the hallway kitchen, you are in the main sleeping area which also has a dresser and VERY large flat-screen TV. The beds are fairly comfortable. The kids didn’t complain, nor did my husband(which is a miracle, since he complains about everything!). It was nice to have a little space between the living and sleeping spaces for privacy. Plus, it made it more enjoyable to watch 2 different programs.(And another little note about the TV… there isn’t much for kids. They do have Disney chanel and Cartoon Network, but for smaller children this programing isn’t always appropriate once you get past dinner time. Our room had a Blu-Ray DVD player, so bring some discs with you!) While we were in Columbus, we also went to Magic Mountain which was a lot of fun for everyone. We played laser tag, go-carts, putt-putt golf & arcade games.

For a clean, quiet room that is priced just right, this is a good place to stay. I have a sense that this place is family owned and operated and… I like that. The desk manager was personable and did everything they could to ensure my stay was comfortable. Work out room is small but okay.
