I was pretty skeptical of going after seeing all of the negative reviews, but I’d heard good things from coworkers. My boyfriend and I went around 3pm on a Friday afternoon. The food was fresh and replaced as needed. Dining area was pretty empty so our server was attentive and replaced drinks/took plates quickly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that there were definitely some items that were bland(not many), and I feel like they could offer a lot more. The buffet is pretty big but has a lot of free space where more items could go. Dessert was great as well and a lot to choose from. I’ll definitely return.

Yuke yuke yuke… I’m leaving and going to White Castles. We did the breakfast brunch, it tasted like the bottom of someone’s foot. I think they believe people would be too drunk to taste the food, but we only came here to eat. SAVEYOURMONEY. No variety. The owner needs to take a trip to Vegas to see how casino buffets really get it together.

Epic Buffet had a nice big spread of different Americanized version of foods, but who are we kidding??? Was it worth me laying down a chunk of my hard earned money? Most definitely not. This is one buffet that you unfortunately aren’t getting what you pay for. There’s a Hometown literally less than a half a mile away from here serving up the same quality, but for half of the price. I’m not even comparing to Las Vegas, but even Casinos in other southwestern states have this place beat! It’s pitiful! It really is! Desserts tasted pretty much pre-made/packaged with maybe a couple of exceptions. Our server was really nice and great, but there’s not much to bring me back here. Sure… I’d come back, but you’d have to pay ME instead. Walk on by the greed machine, folks!

Not worth the money. Quite afee choices were not marked correctly. Almost everything I had was dried out. Definitely won’t eat here again when visiting the casino.

Sadly if this place was in Vegas it would be out of business… crab legs on friday… very busy so you think the food would be rotating and fresh… no q the steak was like rubber the pasta was cold and bland. The staff was very slow to respond took 8 mins to get our server to ask about drinks… for the price this is not worth the trip… only reason is if you are here for the crab legs… pitiful excuse for a casino buffet

I tried the lunch buffet for the first time today and I have to say I wish I could disagree with the naysayers, but sadly I can’t. I received 2 $ 5 off promo coupons in my monthly marketing flyer, so I was willing to give it a try. For $ 8.99 with the coupon I can say I ate enough to get my money’s worth. Sadly most of what I ate wasn’t good. Things to know about me: 1.I’m a pescatarian. I eat fish, dairy, and veggies, but no other meat is in my diet. 2. I came for the peel and eat shrimp. I can eat my weight in shellfish. 3. I was impressed by the number of vegetarian options available; at first. The bad: 1. The shrimp was of the 50 or so to a lb size, so not tiny, but not big either. They were not deveined. In this day and age who is serving shrimp that hasn’t been deveined? Also, I took probably 30, and didn’t eat half of that. Some after being peeled had white stuff on them, which is generally an indicator of unhealthy shrimp. Some distinctly smelled fishy, which is never supposed to happen in fresh seafood. And most had different colored specks of things under the shells. I was hoping those were seasoning but I honestly can’t say for sure, and am afraid it was grit. 2. I tried the vegetable egg roll, the veggie lo mein, the roasted potatoes, and a hush puppy. The egg roll was flavorful and a bit spicy(which isn’t a bad thing to me) but it tasted like something I’d purchased in the frozen section. The veggie lo mein was alright, kinda made me think of Mark Pi’s Express. The roasted potatoes were pretty good. Golden potatoes that were just slightly under done, but still edible, and had a nice amount of butter and seasoning. The hush puppy was just deep fried cornmeal. No real flavor, and a waste of calories. 3. I also tried the roasted zucchini. I LOVE zucchini. Whatever they used to season it was off flavor, and the zucchini were hard. As in I wouldn’t have eaten them raw because they weren’t ripe. The good: 1. The home style mashed potatoes. Those were delicious. Lumpy, thick, good seasoning. I would have gone back for more if I hadn’t filled up on other less worthy foods. They had a container of warm butter next to them, which I applied sparingly, and honestly probably didn’t even need. 2. They had bread pudding for dessert. I LOVE bread pudding. It wasn’t perfect. The icing was a little hard, but the actual bread pudding was full of cinnamon and cream flavors, and had the standard bread pudding texture. 3. I arrived at 2:30 and lunch goes til 3. I was worried they would start pulling food at 3, and I wouldn’t be able to try everything I wanted. There was still plenty of food at 3:30 when I left. 4. My waitress Alicia was very attentive, and service was quick and good. 5. I did not have the phở, but I was impressed with the options you could add to it. All the veggies looked well prepped and fresh. 6. I also did not have any salad, but they had dried cranberries as a topping which I have not seen at many salad bars. They also had fresh fruit which looked fresh cut. The also had zesty cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish. So, if you consider eating here, you need to think about what you are looking for, especially if you’re going to pay the dinner price of $ 19.99. If you just want to eat a filling meal there are plenty of options that will fill that bill, some of them good. If you are a foodie, or are used to the buffets in Vegas, you’re going to be disappointed. For people interested in seafood and Asian cuisine skip the buffet and go down the street to Ding Ho. Much higher quality of shrimp, and Asian food in general and around the same price point.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner around 7pm. All the desserts and rolls were stale. Only 1 bowl of mixed melon cut fruit over by the salad bar. I ate the strawberries that were garnishing the plates of cakes for dessert. They were good. Wasn’t sure if my overall disappointment stemmed from the fact we were in Vegas three days ago or if this is really a disappointing buffet. Then I read the plethora of 2-star reviews and got my answer. All in all, dinner here was the first food I had eaten all day. I was hungry. I had powered through the first two plates without tasting much. Veggies were good… some of the pasta dishes… by the time dessert rolled around, I was fed and could slow down enough to really pay attention to what I was eating. The chocolate softserve ice cream was good. Will try the other restaurants tomorrow maybe. I drive an 18-wheeler. Not sure if this place is worth the parking.

The food here is really hard to eat! This place is lacking taste in everything they serve. Will never eat here again! 25 bucks for crappy food! WTF

It’s my own fault if I ever return! Standard buffet fare. It will always be cold & old. Being there at opening, put us in a long line, but the greatest chance for fresh hot food. The hot food is one long counter that allows access from only one side. Go to the end of the line! Patrons trained to stand in line, are reluctant to let you step in for just that 1 item you want. The cold line is circular with access again from one side. Soup and salad bar on half, then deserts on the other. They could learn a lot from cruise ship buffets. Convenience, accessible, crowd control. 2 of the simplest changes I would incorporate are… Let greeter offer to dispense hand sanitizer into entering guests hands. Then stack buffet plates face DOWN. Imagine everything that touches the food side by guests, before you pick it up to eat off of. I gave this place 3 because I scaled it based on other buffets, not other restaurants. Staff was friendly, and it was clean. It was surprisingly not casino noisy. If you must go, just remember it’s only buffet quality.

Came here on Friday for All you can eat crab with the gf– We got to the casino about 830 and saw a huge line, but it only took a few minutes to wait and get in there. The buffet is solid, some items are better than others. The Crab was very tasty, both of us ended up eating way way too much, but it was worth it. The meatballs are tasty, and I really like the wings, have a good kick to them. The salad bar is pretty worthless, lettuce that looked wilted, hardly any topping options as well. This is no Bellagio Buffet, but the Crab is the highlight here– I wish they did more seafood options during the night– Shrimp/scallops/clams. It was pretty expensive per person, but I had a good amount of Poker comps in my account, so it did not set me back much money.

If you’re age 55+, take advantage of the ½ price Tuesday deal — though you may face a 45 minute wait in line to get in. For $ 7 for seniors, the lunch buffet was a really good deal. The food was fresh, with a large selection and service was attentive and helpful. My Mom was ecstatic that she got a big piece of tasty crispy roast chicken skin carved to order. Good vegetable selection too. And a huge assortment of desserts. I’m delighted they’ve significantly improved the quality of their food since I was there last.

You know, I’m waffling between 2 and 3 stars. If you’re here, well, it’s a good option. As a destination, it is average. I went for lunch, partly because it is on my way to work, partly because I had a good experience at a casino buffet at Xmas(it was the only place open for breakfast, and was surprisingly good.) You walk through the casino, of course, and then wait. And wait. Seriously, mid-afternoon, mid-week, the casino isn’t packed, the restaurant isn’t packed, but there’s a line to get in due to inefficient service. Wait, a while, to pay. Then wait to be seated. Yes, two lines. Anyway, on to the food. It was pretty good for a buffet. Salad was fresh, there was a wide variety of items, etc. A phở station, which I ended up passing on. Pizza was sub-par. But the other stuff was pretty good. Pasta, Chinese, Italian, comfort food, dessert– all good. Of course I had to try the ribs. I’ve had better, but then I’ve had worse. I decided not to try the«seafood meadly” — though it did make me think of Brothers Drake, which was nice. Table service was okay. Long wait for drink refills and plate pick-up. If you need to use the restroom, you have to go back out in the casino, which is weird. The place is nice, bright, airy. The noise of the casino is muted. 2 stars for experience and service, 3 stars for food. $ 14 for a decent lunch, so not a bad deal.

Epic would be a good word… Epic run! Mon night 8PM — I’m 1 of 5 – 6 parties with the BOGO coupon. Dining room is half empty. With any buffet, my 1st stop is the carving station. Got a slice of beef top round. It was cooked medium but so dry that 1 bite and I was done. Ham looked too fatty. Italian Rope sausage looked decent but didn’t try it. Corn on the cob — soggy and saturated in the liquid it had been bathing in. Butter just oozing off of it on my plate. Highlight — Sausage, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, Memphis BBQ Chicken — this BBQ chicken had decent sauce, editable, and definitely gave a hint of Southern cooking. Secret corner: In the Asian area(near sushi), you can special request what appeared to be Ramen noodles with shrimp.

Really good buffet. Lots of good choices for everyone. Good pizza, good steak, good selection of desserts. A little pricy. Downside is you can’t take your kids. Upside is that the other patrons can’t take *their* kids.

I am not a fan of buffets anywhere but have to admit I have eaten at much better places where the food is outstanding. The positive side of this buffet is that it is clean and the décor is okay. The food is not bad — but it is not something I would make a special trip for. I actually met a couple of out of town friends there. it was more for the gambling part and not the food. However for lunch it didn’t have the higher price which made it better. You see my friends like buffet style dinning, I don’t care for it, it reminds me of cafeteria style dinning, obviously a personal choice. My friends were pleased with the several platefuls of meals they got, no complaints on anything and they were clean platters. All I ate was fruits and deserts. I must admit the deserts were very fine, the fruits were plentiful and coffee hot. Our waitress was nice. The cashier’s didn’t remind me that my I could have used some of my comps to pay for the meal, I found that out latter when I asked someone trying to load it into my slot machine and it wouldn’t download. Overall I had a fun time because the Casino is fine place!

The best part of the Epic Buffet is we went on half-price Senior night. Basically Home Town Buffet with facier decorations. We were a little late on a weeknight, but several of the salads selections remained empty for the better part of an hour. Lots of entrée selections breaded and deep fried. Much better selection of desserts in the package bakery aisle at the grocery store. Did I hate it, no. But nothing to feel good about or look forward to. The staff are generally pleasant and helpful. They just need some better food to serve.

The food tasted better than I expected when we went in. Lunch buffet is $ 13.95 each. Not bad at all! The salad bar itself didn’t look that hot and the pizza selection I gave a pass to… not impressed. But first time I’ve ever seen a Phở soup section at a buffet. The vegetable selections were somewhat overcooked as with any buffet but the carved meat section? Ham, sausage, and flank steak were nummy! I’ve seen bigger buffets in casinos but you can only eat so much and this place offered more than enough to keep us content. Desert is interesting because some of it is out where you can just grab it and others are where you have to wait for a person to give you what you point to. We got there right at the ideal time and just walked right in. By the time we left a line was forming. I’m trying the Phở next time we go.

Highly disappointed. The only good thing I can say was that I tried the buffet during lunch and it was only $ 13.95. I would have been furious if I had paid a full dinner price and got the same quality I did at the lunch buffet. Where to start? The salad bar was your typical salad bar, nothing out of the ordinary. The hot buffet was the real disappointment. The Italian section contained a few pasta dishes that were not very flavorfull and were surprisingly cold even though I had ate only an hour after opening. They did have several choices of pizza to choose from but I did not try them. Again, they looked cold and several of the choices had pools of oil on top of the cheese. The carve meet station was OK. I tried the ham and the Italian sausage and found the sausage to be pretty flavorful. The asian section of the buffet was a discrace. Everything looked cold and unappealing. I did try a egg roll and found it unedible. It was extremely greasy. Deserts looked wonderful but the taste did not live up to their appearance. I tried the flan and found it to be tastless as was the piece of cheesecake that I had tried. The carrot cake was delicious, the best thing I had tried my entire visit. I did find the layout of the buffet to be rather odd. For instance, if you wanted chopsticks for your asian meal, they were located in the salad bar next to the peel and eat shrimp! Someone please explain the logic of that to me! I do have to say the service was very good. The waitress who waited on me was very polite and did a fine job. Don’t think I will ever be back! Will try some of the other establishments or even go off site before I try this again. Will save my money for the slots!

Saturday evening. 45 minute wait. $ 24.99 per person. The anticipation perhaps elevated my expectations a wee bit high. I guess that’s to be expected given the clamor of slot machines and cheering patrons in the background. If I could sum up this entire review in three words, I would say simply to seek satisfaction elsewhere. The selection was unimpressive. The quality was atrocious. Italian station consisted of pizza, sodium enriched meatballs and greasy pasta. Move down the line and you encounter the meat counter. Dried ham and not-even-close-to-tender roast beef are carved by a gentleman who I would bet had never tried to consume what he was passing as food. The salad bar(normally my fallback) is truly not even worth mentioning. Giant Eagle’s salad bar puts this one to shame. There was a sushi plate(that’s ONE plate) with… well, let’s just say they rolled rice and other odds and ends into rubbery seaweed and called it sushi. The shrimp was largely untouched. Not surprising, since a tub full of shrimp(not in ice… not in a cooler) sat out for quite a while. And as bad as the food was, oddly, a large number of serving stations were low or empty. A blessing in disguise, I’m sure. Soooo, the quality of food at the buffet will drive you to pull out your iPhone and start pulling Unilocal reviews for nearby alternatives. The price I paid to experience this horrendousness… well, it’s certainly not priceless. Don’t let the line fool you. Your patience and sacrifice will not be rewarded.
