Very high pressure sales. I was looking for a particular product and the salesperson spent a lot of time and gave me fraudulent, incorrect advice on products. After about one minute, it became obvious he was making commissions off of GNC products.
Tiring of the high-​pressure sales, and not wanting to give this guy a commission in exchange for his fraudulent information, I asked him if he has any individual packets or something small, in order to try it out, and he flatly said «no.» I walk around the corner, look on the bottom shelf and I see individual packets — of exactly what I was looking for — and they were also discounted at $ 1.98 a piece. As I left, I was agitated that the sales clerk told me incorrect facts about protein, tried to make a commission off of me by steering me towards the «superior» GNC products, and then lied to me about not having small, individual packets of protein powder.
I will never step foot inside of a GNC again, as this store’s tactics closely resemble the tactics used on the Sawmill road location. Just to show that I’m not irrationally biased, I will say that the GNC powder I bought tasted really good.

The store associate was not very polite, and when both the cash register and phones apparently didn’t work he made me wait without so much as a word of apology for the inconvenience… Actually without so much as any word. After about 5 minutes of waiting in the empty store I just told him I would pay in cash. I got what I came to buy, but I won’t be coming back here.

Every time I go to ANY GNC I am pleasantly surprised as to how I am treated.
Most assumptions about GNC or any kind of «body» type of store, tend to be «only for meat heads» and only «meat heads» must work there.
FALSE!!! This is totally not true!
I have seen people that you would not think like «computer geeks» working there. And they are all very knowledgeable on the product and very helpful. They are not looking to really up sell but to give you the best advice.
Every time I pay a visit there, I seem to leave with a hand full of free things. I always get a free issue of some health magazine, and a handful of samples.
That is great that they are giving away all of those things, but it could be a bit annoying and over excessive at times. Especially if it happens every time.
This location specifically needs to get their address fixed or something. When I took the address from Unilocal,it brought me to a location that was not of existence. I only found this location because I thought I remembered seeing it being located next to Kroger.

Okay, i went in to get my normal Xenedrine pills and the sales rep told me of a new product that was about the same price but worked a little better. It also, lasted longer as you did not need to take as many pills as the old product. And since I am all about saving money (another phrase for cheap) I decided to buy it and give it a try. He mentioned you would feel an increase in energy almost immediately and he was right. I about ran a marathon in the Polaris mall 30 minutes after taking it. No if they can only make a pill that grows hair.
