Lane Bryant

Once again, I find myself driving out of my way to shop at a location near Polaris even though there are a couple closer to home. I have been to this location twice now over the last two weeks and I will continue to shop here going forward. Here is why I love this Lane Bryant:
The Store
This store is HUGE with an attached Cacique. Unless the item is super popular and flying off of the shelves, the odds are in your favor that they will have the size and style that you want in stock and on the floor. I love that all of the clothes are neatly organized and easy to find. You can tell that the management is on top of keeping the floor neat and tidy and it pays off.
The Selection
If you are looking for a popular piece that is flying off the shelves, you are going to have the best luck finding it here. I was recently shopping for an event earlier this month and I wanted to get a special top. I looked online and found a few that I liked. I checked Tuttle and Easton and neither had ANY of them on the floor or in back. Polaris had all of the styles but one in stock and the ones that were in stock were all available in my size! WOOT!
The Sales
If you have shopped here at all, you know that the prices are crazy inflated and to NEVER pay full price unless you absolutely-must-have-it-and-will-die-if-you-don’t-buy-it-right-now! For those of you who know to watch for the sales, this store and staff watches for them too and makes sure you get the best deal possible. As I mentioned, I was looking for a special top for an event. I found two that I loved but they were $ 89.95 each (OUCH!!!). Thankfully they were on sale for buy one, get one half off. And I had a $ 15 certificate. And an email offer of 35% off of my entire purchase. I kept waiting for the staff to complain about the coupon or the certificate or to tell me that they couldn’t be combined. Nope! They honored everything and I got both shirts for less than the price of one. Woohoo!
The Staff
These are some of the friendliest Lane Bryant ladies I have worked with yet. Super helpful and they like to save money too so they totally work out the best deals.
Yes, they are the furthest away from my house but I am willing to make the drive to get exactly what I want.

Over the years, I’ve gotten plenty of clothes at Lane Bryant, and I tend to be pretty pleased with what they have to offer (though sometimes I do find certain items to be quite overpriced). LB is one of the few places I can find jeans that work for my short legs, and for that, I will always be grateful. This particular location is pretty nice. They always have a pretty broad selection of clothing, and the employees are really nice. Plus, there almost always seems to be some type of sale going on, which is good for my wallet. I’m not particularly a fan of the plaza it’s in because people often seems to ignore the rules of driving there, but I’ll keep going back because I do enjoy this store overall. Plus, I’ve been to some of the other nearby LBs, and this one definitely seems to be the best.

We came in while waiting to be seated for dinner– yet another visit to Easton on a weekend, when will we learn? Sweetie needed some bras, and we ran into a friend so we hung out and shopped. There was a sale, and the selection seems pretty good, size– and style-​wise.
Maybe I shouldn’t review this since I didn’t buy anything. But wait, I did: for some reason the clerk took my credit card but handed the bag to Sweetie. How did they know that’s how it works?

The group of women that work at that this location are all welcoming, accommodating, & eager to help. They go out of their way to help you find what you need on a comfortable level. I would absolutely recommend shopping at this location. I’ve also ordered online and picked up in this store before, even having to exchange a size and I wasn’t given any grief! Only assistance with a smile.

I have to be honest, when I signed on to review Lane Bryant, I was SHOCKED at reading such good reviews related to this store! My experience with them has been the exact OPPOSITE! I was taken back the last time I tried to go in there! It had very little stock, the racks were IMPOSSIBLE to look through due to clothes being shoved onto them/​overcrowded and then when we tried to access a dressing room, there was NO ONE TO BE FOUND to unlock one.
Plus their dressing room area was scummy to the max — clothes laying all over, dirty, stark, dimly lit, etc! And the rooms were all lined up in a row so even when you were in a room you felt you had NO privacy because you could practically hear the person in the room next to you breathing!
The only worker anywhere NEAR the dressing rooms was someone apparently working the «Cacique» side of the store who was assisting a woman with a bra fitting. It was extremely unpleasant to hear the worker talking to the woman through the fitting room door about the way a bra was fitting, not fitting, what she (the WORKER) wore to BED at night, etc! NO JOKE! It was pretty disturbing…
Needless to say — I will NOT shop in that store again! Do yourself a favor and go a few doors down in the same plaza to another woman’s dress shop where your experience will be MUCH more pleasant — and classier to say the least!!!

BY far the best customer service I’ve received from any location in Columbus– Roxanne is a superstar! Went in for some birthday shopping with a friend who desperately needed a sizing, friend had her hand held through the whole process, went through at least 15 different styles patiently! Roxanne never missed a beat, I really wish she’d have been my first LB sales lady when I started shopping there years ago! In the end she cut us some raw deals and I walked out having saved $ 25 on a pair of Capris, and friend with sexy new bras!

Ask for Samantha! What a wonderful helpful staff they have at this location. I wish all of the other stores would train their staff like this one.

This place is where my girlfriend likes to shop so we go here quite a bit. The staff is very friendly but quite frankly they’d make this place a whole lot more tolerable for the husbands, boyfriends and etc if they had some sort of something to do while we waited. Not saying there’s not a lot of other places with the same affliction as this but if the guy is happy (that’d be me) then we may stay a bit longer and more money may be spent. With that being said there does seem to be a lot of great deals to be had here and they do seem to have a pretty wide selection of clothing and accessories for the ladies here. So yes I’d recommend this place, but ladies tell your boyfriend or husband to bring an iPad or a Gameboy so he has something to do while you look for all the best bargains!

I needed bras and decided to go for the Buy 2 Get One Free deal. The clerk saved me a total of $ 98 on my purchase after going online through my smartphone and cashing in on the extra savings.

Where do you go if you are a curvy girl who loves fashion and looking good? Lanebryant of course! I *heart* this place. It is also the reason I have no dough lol! I can’t come here without a strict purpose and a pair of blinders, as my willpower deserts me as soon as I pull into the lot.
Everything from office to casual to dressy to lingerie to accessories to handbags to shoes!
On this haul I bought 2 ‘fitted in all the right places’ military inspired shirts, a longer black pencil skirt with a zipper from waist to hem that moves both ways, (several of my guy friends liked the concept ;) a black v-​neck sweater for a pair of skinny jeans, a pair of really hot black lacy tights and a gorgeous emerald green lacy cami. If I worked here it would just be for clothes, I wouldn’t have anything left and I would starve and then I wouldn’t be able to shop here anymore. I like to dress a little edgier (don’t wanna look like an office clone or a soccer mom) but still love a classic clean and sexy look, I can pull that look off here.
A must have are the new teeshirt bras, light, great support and fantastic fit. They make the twins look great! They have everything from adorable, to on fire, panties to thongs. Sleepware from cute n comfy to light it up hot.
There are great belts, jewelry and handbags, socks and tights. The shoes are very on trend. They carry all sizes and widths.
Another great thing about Lb is: if you need help putting an outfit together, just ask and a stylist will help you, they also do bra fittings. I was wearing the wrong size for so long until I got fitted here. Now the twins get the attention they deserve ;)
Yet another perk, if you use your Lb card, you get points toward coupons and periodically they send you a check that you can use in conjunction with a coupon for added savings.
And last but not least: you can host a Girls’ Night Out where you invite your friends, family to a private party at the store. A hostess party must consist of a minimum of 4 guests. As a hostess you’ll receive: $ 50 Lb gift card, 30% off for you n guests on all purchases made at the event, except Spanx products, and personalized service by Lb stylists! I really believe that a girl can be curvy and sexy, and Lanebryant is the place to get your fashionista on! Love it, love it, love it… *sigh*
