I got the special with fingers, wings, toast and fries. The fingers were good, wings amazing and toast was amazing. Restaurant was clean and staff was very helpful especially since it was our first time there. I didn’t like the special sauce, to peppery, they gave me ranch which was delicious. Next time I come I will just get the wings and toast. I didn’t like the floor in the building, it makes your feet squeak.

The food is alright. Nothing fancy or amazing. The service is alright. I ate wings, 18 of them, but was really unimpressed. They were pretty small and not hot at all. My wife got the hamburger and she said it was just alright, nothing special. The fries are not good at all. This place could be much better, but there is something almost apathetic about the atmosphere. Maybe its just cause it was lunch.

It’s not that bad. The lemon pepper wings are good. If you’re military, because you’re in a military town, you get free drinks. They are a little bit pricey on the food. Sometimes, it’s not clean. There were crumbs on the table and floor every time I went there. This is why I gave it three stars.

Great food! Great service! We got the daily special: wings, fingers, fries and toast. The food was great, the ranch sauce is my fav so far. There was a mixup with our order and we ended up waiting for about 15 min or so for our food. In order to make up for the wait we got free desserts. The brownie and the pecan pie were good also. We loved the scripture verses on the walls. Our family will definitely be back!

Amazing food — I had the wings, chicken fingers, fries, and the spinach salad. Wings had great flavor… big, crispy, and tender. Chicken fingers are tender and crispy. I love that they offer healthy options like the spinach salad — very fresh. Military get free drinks!

The only good thing I have to say is the cashier/​driver-​thru girl was very friendly and welcoming. The food was plain out nasty. I had wings and fries and it was a little on the bland side. The building looks nice though. I may go back and try another item on the menu. I do believe in 2nd tries.

I was pretty shocked to see all these other reviews because this is pretty much my favorite place in town. Yes, the chicken is small, but I don’t go there for quantity. All there food tastes good and there potato salad is AMAZING! Nice atmosphere, and while I normally don’t go during busy times, i never had an issue with the staff or cleanliness. It’s a must go, and a must get the potato salad.

Horrible! It looks nice but that’s about it. Won’t be back. I can deep fry better things at home without having to see a group of employees hangout, hence why the place is so dirty!

For this being a newer restaurant it should be cleaner. A lot cleaner! So any employes in the back & many just chit chatting & none cleaning out the nasty dirty table. We had to clean our own. Another customer dropped his tray & no one came to help him out & he cleaned it all up not an employed helped or bothered to come up to him (he was a much older man). Now to the food. This is an over priced, smaller portioned, & much greasier version of zaxbys. Honestly save your money & go elsewhere, there are far better places around here to eat at that won’t cost an arm & a leg for a plate full of room temperature grease filled food.

Wasn’t impressed. I thought with all of the long lines I would see in the drive thru during the weekends that the food was something to be longed for.
Chicken fingers are small. Maybe the size of a pointer finger in length.
If zaxbys had two first names. It’d be jim bobs.

I have been to Jim Bob’s several times and have enjoyed my experience every time. Although this is not a expensive or fancy restaurant, I give it a 4 because of the openly unashamed Christian environment. For me, that is a plus for Christian people.
Unlike the previous review, Jim Bob’s always seems to be busy — inside, outside and drive through. It is true that there are no shrimp or fried pickles. I wouldn’t have thought to order that, seeing that it is not on the menu. But this is my review, not that of anyone else.
They have great hot wings. Some of the best in the area. Although I’m not a fan of the fried chicken tenders, the grilled tenders are fantastic. If you’re looking for a chicken place with a menu that is very Zaxby-​esque and a delightfully inspirational atmosphere, then Jim Bob’s is the place for you.

catfish plate was suppose to be six fillets, instead six very small catfish fingers= 1 &½ fillets. less than 10 french fries, 1 piece of corn bread & tea= $ 15.00. should have cost $ 5.00 at the most. Big BIG RIP OFF. Don’t waste your money! You will leave very hungry.
