This team of folks made my sandwich right! Peppers on the side. After having a crappy experience at another Jimmy Johns(5th Ave) by the manager Chris Gissenger(according to the name on the printed receipt). Wake up 5th Ave Mr. Manager Chris Gissenger… customers can get what they want they just go to another store!

Eh. I’ve since decided that I’ll take a hot sub over a cold sub any day. Jimmy Johns just doesn’t offer much that I can’t just make myself. Furthermore, they always seem to forget to put avocado on my sandwich when I ask for it(or else, there is just so little that I can’t find it). There are a ton of better local sandwich places around columbus. If I want to save money, I’ll just make my own sandwich using ingredients from Giant Eagle, Kroger, or Whole Foods. If I want cheap and fast, I’ll just get a 5 dollar footlong the way I want it.

I am on campus at OSU and sadly, the Neil Avenue location closed. I ordered on behalf of OSU for a recruitment candidate lunch in one of my conference rooms. The receptionist clearly wrote a $ 6 tip on the receipt and it was changed to $ 11(over 20% and against OSU policy). I had to call the manager for three days. Finally he tells me I can stop by and pick up $ 5 cash-wasn’t sure that would work considering I used OSU credit card but it was ok, I asked if he could deliver the $ 5 and I asked whether he got to the bottom of the changed tip line and he got rude and asked me if I knew how many deliveries his store makes a day. He ended up sending someone the same day but, wow… not impressed by the customer service at GM level management. On the same third call to him, we were ordering for an employee getting married luncheon today, this on a personal credit card. No thank you for repeat business after all of the hassle-nothing.(If only the employee in question didn’t love Jimmy John’s). I placed the order for 1pm and upon realizing most of the staff had a presentation at 1pm I immediately called back and changed it to 12:30. The guy answering said, yeah, ok, I’ll make a note and I asked him if he even needed my name, he replied, «no you just ordered 10 secs ago.» So at 12:30 today when there was no delivery I called, and they said, «Oh the 1:00 catering order?» The sent someone who got here by 12:40. Major lack of communication, organization, or professionalism at this location.

Went here late last one night last week and had problems with food and service on what seemed like a very manageable crowd. Not too many people there. I ordered a Billy Club no tomato no mayo. Stood there for about 15 minutes watching them make people’s orders that ordered after me before mine. Asked about my food, and the manager told me I ordered a #9 no mayo. I told him I didn’t even use a number, I ordered a Billy Club sub. Still Didn’t believe me, he acted annoyed and made my sub… with tomatoes on it. My friends had already eaten their subs by the time I got to the table.

Went here yesterday and ordered a Turkey Tom to go. When I got to my location to eat it, I discovered there was only lettuce and no alfalfa sprouts(my favorite part!). Someone mentioned that I needed to ask for them, but the menu clearly reads: «Fresh sliced turkey breast, topped with lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mayo.(The original)». If I wanted all of that without alfalfa sprouts, I could’ve just gone to Subway.

It’s what you’d expect. I went in to grab a quick sandwich prior to a concert I was playing at OSU. It was quick and cheap. Not the best sandwich in the world, but I wasn’t expecting such.

I follow the philosophy that if you’ve eaten at one chain, you’ve eaten at them all. I’ve been repeatedly disappointed with this location though, and you’re probably better off going to the one further up High Street or the location on Neil Avenue. My worst experience here involved both myself and my girlfriend getting sandwiches here and ending up spending most of the next two days between bed and the bathroom as our bodies purged themselves of the sandwich by ALLMEANSIMAGINABLE. Really, I’ve never had a result like that from anything I’ve eating in this country, stabbing stomach pains and all. We think it was the lettuce but never really figured it out. The smell/taste of their bread still makes me kind of queasy. Really unfortunate, because I like Jimmy John’s but won’t eat at this location again.

I like Jimmy Johns. Pretty good subs, great value, and extremely quick & easy. The $ 4.50 subs are significantly slimmer than the $ 5.50 clubs, FYI.(I think they pull some of the bread out of the bun) Overall, great bread, good meat, plenty of fixings. They don’t do hot subs, but the menu is fairly large. Give it a try. You’ll probably like it.

The sandwiches at Jimmy John’s are a little lightweight and mediocre for the price. I had a tuna salad sub not too long ago and the flavor was good but it was over with just so fast. The buns are small. I looked at their web site and was amazed at the sophistication of it. Maybe JJ’s needs to spend less on web development and more on sandwich development. But the two or so times i’ve walked in to this location, the help has been friendly and it’s not bad as late night food options go.
