I’ve been to this Jimmy John’s numerous times and I still haven’t found anything wrong with it. Kinda scary. The kids working here are on it, all the time. They never get my orders wrong and they’re very friendly and chatty. Jimmy John’s has a pretty chill atmosphere anyway and I think their friendliness augments that. Oh, can’t forget the music. Music sets the tone in your TV shows, movies, and video games. It does that in real life, too. I usually hear rock blasting when I walk through the door but I think they have a mixed station or playlist going since not everyone likes rock. So we’ve covered atmosphere and customer service. What about the food? Pretty rockin, really. The bread is fantastic. Not too soft, not too hard or chewy, but just right. They don’t have the variety of breads that Subway has(boo, cuz the turkey tom would be AWESOME on honey oat). The selection of condiments is limited to mayo, too, which honestly doesn’t sit too well with me because I hate mayo. Die-hard Subway fanatics will be disappointed about that. That aside, Jimmy John’s has the freshest ingredients and they keep it shockingly simple. And where else can you get alfalfa sprouts on your sandwich? Great location, great customer service, and great food.

Not the greatest sub place ever. While it’s certainly not bad, you can certainly do better including Hangover Easy which is right next door. The ingredients are rather bland and especially being a vegetarian there is literally one sub I can get with very limited option. The staff is usually okay, but they tend to forget anything you add on top of a basic order(cut in half, add oregano, etc.). The place is well kept, but the colors can be a bit of an eyesore. The main reason I give this chain a 2-star is the ridiculous hours. Being a medical student, if I am starving and studying very late I know I can get decent food anytime before 3AM from this place. A good place if you need something in a hurry and aren’t really looking for something awesome.

I was a little turned off that the Jimmy John’s on 5th wouldn’t deliver to my apartment and I had to rely on the University District Neil Ave location. Just a little skeptical of the college service vibe, I guess. The boy who took my phone order was not very pleasant but did take my order quickly and accurately. I was just coming off of the stomach flu(ick) so I was dyingggg for some solid(though bland) food. My sub was literally at my doorstep in less than 10 minutes. Happiest starving flu-recoverer ever. Next time I won’t be so quick to judge those student workers.

Horrible customer service, I called in a phone order for delivery and was directed to this location. I called in over an hour earlier than the schedule delivery time. This order was for a company lunch meeting. At the scheduled time I got a call from the driver that he could not deliver then the manager told me they could not make the delivery! It was out of the delivery area! When I talked to the manager nothing was done or even an apology given! So, I had to call another store and pick up the delivery an hour late. Not freaky fast or even freaky good! Go to Subway or Penn Station!

I like Jimmy John’s. I dislike this location. 1. Every once in a while, I get mayo on my Vito. There is not suppose to be mayo on the Vito. I don’t want to ask for no mayo every time I order and look like a idiot because well, there is not suppose to be mayo on the Vito. Dilemma. 2. When I specifically request hot peppers, I expect there to be some on my sandwich! Is it seriously that hard to remember to add peppers when the cashier tells you exactly what to put on the sandwich? This annoys me greatly because hot peppers elevate their sandwiches from ordinary to awesome. To be honest, I only wrote this review because I got jipped out of hot peppers. Boo.

This location doesn’t understand a special order. I love cucumbers and I love sandwiches. Oddly enough, I hate cucumbers on sandwiches. Everytime I have ordered my flipping sandwich without cucumbers, I get extra cucumbers. Yes, I can take them off, but I’m stuck with cucumber juices all over the rest of my sandwich. Plus, they charge for $.50 for a freaking cup for water. Not cool, Jimmy, not cool.

Not my favorite sammich joint, but still good. I get either the Beach Club(love the avocado spread) or the Club Tuna. Very fresh ingredients, pretty good value for money, but usually poor service.

I love Jimmy John’s! I’ve only ever seen them on and around college campuses, so I’m going to guess that their sandwiches are really only mediocre. The fact that they have fewer options then say, Subway, plays to their advantage. I hate restaurants that offer«limited time only» menu items. You should just stick to a few good items that you can make really well. That being said, Jimmy John’s offers 16 different sandwiches. I only order a #1 with no tomato. There are some vegetarian sandwiches that I’ve heard are quite good, but I’m a plain Jane and have only stuck with what I know works. The bread, either the French bread(baked fresh daily) or the 7-grain whole wheat, is very satisfying. I hear you can buy old bread for .25 cents, but I’ve never tested to see if this is true. Not much can be said for their dining area. It’s cold, standard fast food, with plenty of quirky flair on the walls. But I’m not there for the dining room. I’m there for a damn sandwich!
