Studio Posh Grandview

It’s a great place. I hope that they can fix the app so I can book an haircut appointment directly like other studio posh in town. Other than that this is a great place.

I love love loved this place. One thing that really stood out was that my hairstylist was so very helpful in understanding my hair and teaching me tricks to style it myself when I get home. He gave me like beachy waves after he cut and colored my hair in the balayage style. I’ve never been more satisfied with a haircut and styling! I would highly recommend Junite as a stylist. He is very friendly, cool and talented! You can trust that he knows what he’s doing. I’m so glad my boyfriend got a me a gift card here through recommendation of Tatiana, another stylist (the prices were so reasonable anyway)

Ok, so Unilocal is probably gonna filter this review as I believe Junite has received three raves in the last two weeks, but as soon as I saw my sisters hair (Suzanne K.) I immediately made an appointment to see him. Although my sisters cut was amazing, I still wasn’t 100% sure he could work the same magic since I have a completely different type of hair than my sis’s (extremely thick, curly and coarse). But frankly I was at the, I don’t give a damn place, I am so sick of this long boring hair and had been waiting forever to find anyone that seemed remotely decent to give me my cool short funky hair back…
And wow did he NAIL it… Better than any salon I’ve been to in NYC including bumble and bumble, he is incredibly talented and also skilled in techniques which I had found hard to find in Columbus. No one seemed to know how to really thin my hair here, or they were too afraid to go all out which needs to happen if it’s gonna be hacked off and actually not look like a mushroom cloud. He completely got what I wanted as well from the photos I showed him. Seriously one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had and that includes top salons in Chicago, NYC, and Toronto. I can’t say enough about it… thank you Junite… you are awesome!

Becky is THE best and I cannot tell you how happy I leave every time I have a cut/​color with her. She always has me looking sharp and is amazing with my color. Not to mention she is one of the nicest people in the world. I highly recommend Becky!

Just came back from getting my haircut at Studio Posh Salon Grandview. I’ve been to fancy salons, strip mall cheapies and independently owned salons in my lifetime. Eric Haycook, the owner of Studio Posh just totally rocks! For short hair like mine, they charge a very reasonable amount knowing I will be in frequently. They are nice and laid back. Plus, he seems to get what I want, even if I’m unclear with my wishes (like I was tonight!) If you ever need a guy or a place for hair, I highly recommend Studio Posh!

Let me first say that Junite gets 5 Stars; however I have to state for the record here that Sarah is simply not a good hairdresser.
It’s not so much that the bangs are crooked (after she insisted that they were even after I pointed out that I had a widows peak…) Or the circa 1980 cut, but it’s the fact that it isn’t even, (uneven is NOT the intention here)… I don’t want to go back to her to fix it… Okay so I will look at people side profile until it grows a bit and then Junite can fix this mess… Geesh…/ I should have waited til he was available even if was a month out…/

There are some good stylists, but they seriously lack organization. No one ever seems to be in charge, and it’s apparent. I’ve had several problems with the schedulers writing down appointments and phone numbers incorrectly. The whole place is run unprofessionally.

Amy always rocks my hair out. I have temperamental portuguese locks that need someone who knows. Amy always listens to what I want, does what I ask for and puts in her own two cents to make sure it all works. Going in today. I know I’ll come out fabulous.

Before Studio Posh, I was temperamental and naïve about my hair. Back in my hometown in suburban New York, I had been going to the same barber that I went to since I was one. He is a sweet, old Italian man, but he continued to cut my hair in a childish manner. Until a couple of years ago, I had a part down the middle of my hair — no joke! I did not have the means to explain how I wanted to change my hair, because frankly, I had no idea!
Last September, I moved to Columbus, and I was determined to find a new hairstylist. My interest was piqued by Axe’s promotion at Studio Posh on campus. Who doesn’t love free? I waited an hour, and I was seen by Hallie. I basically told her my life story and that I kind of wanted it a lot shorter, and something that looks both professional but cool. And… she nailed it. She totally nailed it. She gave me styling paste from American Crew, and I have been styling my own hair each morning with confidence!
Well, usually. It admittedly took me a bit of time to get used to the new doo, but in due course I got to styling my own hair with most confidence. But I usually need to ask my girlfriend if my hair looks okay most mornings :).
Since that October Axe-​fest, I have ever since been coming back every 6 to 8 weeks to Hallie exclusively, who works most of the time at Studio Posh in Grandview. We have continued to experiment with making my hair a little shorter, and it has just kept itself great. I definitely have more self-​confidence since coming to Hallie. In fact, earlier this year, following my graduation from Grad School at OSU, I had some trouble getting a job. I had three job interviews with no success. The day of my fourth, I got a haircut with Hallie just before it, and I landed the job. I KID YOU NOT.
Studio Posh is good luck. And Hallie is God. The end!

I truly love Studio Posh! I love going to the one here in Grandview too, because its quiet and there’s always ample parking.
I went to Studio Posh the first time because my boyfriend got his hair done there, and they always did a good job. After having one too many bad haircuts elsewhere, I figured I’d ask them to chop my hair.
So they did. I cut my hair REALLY short last March and it had failed to grow back in over a year/​look nice/​etc… So, askedthem for haircut that would stimulate hair growth and make my hair look longer. I admit, I didn’t like the cut they gave me. It was kind of hard to maneuver. I was disappointed, and was ready to go back to Aveda.
But then, something miraculous happened! My hair, that had grown about two inches in a year, began to grow two inches in ONE month! And then another two inches the next month! They had really done a fantastic job! This, of course, led me to believe that I didn’t know crap about hair and I really should just leave somethings to the professionals. I was so happy about my hair growth that I continued to come back haircut after haircut!
These guys really know a whole lot about hair and hair care. They are also some of the most awesome hair-​dressers you will ever meet. The music in the place is always good and the conversations are even better! The price is right too. You get a great cut for reasonable cost. Be sure to ask for Hallie! She’s the best!
