Huge mistake! I hadn’t read the reviews until now :(stay away from threading if you love your eyebrows. They just do not know what are they doing, period.

So sad that this place has drastically gone down hill.
Last year I came here and had my hair and make up done and loved it.
Last night I came in and had my makeup done and I had to go home and wash it off and start over myself. My friend had her hair done and her curls didn’t even last the walk to the parking garage. Her makeup looked better but still a major let down.

I really don’t know what to think about this place. As I’m writing this I keep switching between 1 and 2 stars. Still not sure where I’m going to finish it. I also made the mistake of not checking reviews before making an appointment or else I probably wouldn’t have gone.
I made an appointment here to get my hair done before a wedding. The girl that did my hair was… rough…to say the least. While blow drying my hair she was using a technique I had never seen at any salon — while she was going through with the round brush, she was tugging my hair and hitting the blow dryer on the brush. It was annoying and uncomfortable. I don’t know where she learned this, but as far as I know, this is not how you dry hair with a round brush.
Then she curled my hair (I chose the Stargazer — was supposed to be loose beach-​y curl), with a small curling iron, into spirals. All of my hair — I have a lot of hair. She didn’t add any product to my hair other than hairspray, so I was really worried it would end up looking weird. I definitely did not like what she did with my hair after it was finished. It also smelled burned — thanks to the curling iron.
I will say, my hair ended up looking fine for the wedding, and mostly held up through a very windy outdoor ceremony. So I guess that was one positive.
However, the place was so dirty. Everything looked rundown and not well taken care of, and I could see dirt and stains on everything. Also, if your curling iron leaves a burned smell in your client’s hair, probably not the cleanest.
Well I’ve finished writing and I’ve decided to stick with one star. I’ve been to other blow out bars that I would highly recommend, and I would definitely never return to this location.

Never got return calls — I felt like I was a customer trying to get their business when it should be the other way around. Probably more of a walk-​in location to spontaneously get your hair or makeup done for a day of shopping, not a location where you have an event and timing is of the essence. Two thumbs down. Requested a refund through Groupon.

Styleout is great. They were able to straighten my naturally curly and thick hair, leaving it stick straight and feeling fresh, clean, and soft. I also loved the scalp massage after a stressful day. The stylists were really nice and actually listened to what I was asking for. I’m planning on going back soon and purchasing some of their hair products since it left my hair so silky days after the styling.
Another thing: Make sure to try out the eyebrow threading. The threader left my eyes looking amazing, and all with one thread! I never knew how much hair I was missing and how a simple thread could make my eyes look more open! I liked it better than plucking because it was so quick! I could literally go there during a lunch break! I will likely go back to get them threaded again.

Avoid like plague — only one stylist on duty — over an hour late. This is the kind of place you go to for a special occasion so lateness is a super big problem. This place is terribly mismanaged — there were two other workers who basically sat around doing nothing — incredible! I have been to several other blowout bars and they are always well staffed. And the fact that this place is in Easton — a high end shopping area — was even more disappointing.
