The clean floors and tables, courteous and friendly customer service inside the restaurant was a welcome change from the last time I was here. Even though the restaurant was busy, the people behind the counter seemed to take more time with each of their customers to ensure accuracy for each order and friendly service to make customers truly feel welcome in the store. Since it was late in the day, the French Cruelers were not available, nor did I expect them to be. However, I got some other cake doughnuts that, even though they had been there all day, they had been stored and refrigerated to maintain freshness. So, they weren’t bad. I sat at a table with my order of a dozen assorted doughnuts and ate a couple of the chocolate iced doughnuts with my French vanilla Cappuccino. Very nice! As I looked around the room, I noticed how much cleaner the floor and tables were. Since I use a walker for mobility, one of the guys from behind the counter graciously assisted me by carrying my doughnuts and coffee to a table. I’ve always received excellent service at the Reed Rd. store by using the drive-thru. So, really nothing new to say about that, other than, I come here right after my PT three times a week, so they have gotten to recognize my voice and my usual morning order: Fr. vanilla Cappuccino and two butter Fr. Cruelers and I’ve gotten to know the names of the people behind the window. I’d still like to see a more convenient handicap ramp outside and some automatic door opener to help open the two sets of very heavy entrance doors. Overall, much improved and it would appear that maybe they pay attention to reviews from everyone on Unilocal and actually give credence to the«How can we better serve you?»(Comment Cards) in the store.

We were having a late weekend morning and our favorite diner was about to close. Not wanting to put them out, we decided to make a quick stop at Tim Horton’s. We walk up to the counter, and we’re probably standing there for 5 minutes, maybe longer, before the cashier acknowledged us. She was walking past us and doing other things, so she definitely saw us. When she finally acknowledged that there were people there wanting food, I was going to order a breakfast sandwich, but one of their new items was a Honey Dijon ham and swiss. It came on a pretzel bagel. I thought to myself, «Yum! What’s not to like there? Honey mustard, ham, a pretzel bagel, the cheese will probably be melted… sounds good to me!» NOPENOPENOPE. Wrong. I got what was pretty much the grossest sandwich ever. The top of the pretzel bun was hard, with huge salt chunks. The bottom of the pretzel bun was soggy, with red and green mushy spots where the tomato and lettuce had clearly been sitting for a while. The ham, cheese, and lettuce were slimy. There was no honey dijon to speak of. There was, however, a questionable white sauce that was fairly tasteless, but seemed more like mayo. The sandwich was cold(that’s the only thing that may have been my fault for assuming — ham and cheese isn’t necessarily warmed up). The sandwich itself was inedible. I took a few bites and threw it away. Luckily, I had the foresight to also get a doughnut. That should be a solid choice, right? NOPE. The cake part of the doughnut tasted of nothing. The sprinkles were extremely hard. Sprinkles should be relatively hard, but so hard that I am nearly physically pained trying to eat them? Probably not. If I’m going to be eating however many calories are in a doughnut, it better be good! Sadly, it also wasn’t worth eating. Trashed that too. Going to this Tim Horton’s was a complete and utter waste of money. Well, maybe not completely. My companion got timbits, and those were okay. But everything else was prettyyy terrible. Won’t be returning!

Well I gotta bring my truck it looks like because I’m going to have to haul those donuts to work for the masses to enjoy! Since this Tim Horton’s is located so close to my workplace we give them a lot of business. Just imagine creating boxes you would fed ex and putting dozens and dozens of donuts in them. I don’t know how this Tim Horton’s does it but they do and always with a smile on their face. I had to write this review because of the whole talk recently with Tim Horton’s and Burger King on the news and do feel we should give Tim Horton’s some credit. One of my sister’s friends works in their main office and knows the ins and outs of their business and I trust her advice when she does give it about this place. Tim Horton’s continues to deliver quality food and new items to their menu to impress their customers. If you don’t believe me, just listen to their recent commercials on the radio. I recently came across a comment directly to Tim Horton’s which was a little condescending saying why should Tim Horton’s offer their new pumpkin spice latte now? As a pumpkin spice lover, I liked that they put this on the menu and really I don’t care if they are taking the same idea from Starbucks and just offering the item earlier in the season than normal. Look at Starbucks who is doing the same exact thing now. So if you enjoy the food and price I don’t think it should matter what is offered on the menu. People go to Tim Horton’s because they know their iced cappuccinos and timbits are the real deal. That’s all I got to say and that Tim Horton’s continues to deliver quality food and drinks to all their customers.

Perfect for a quick bagel, however you will have to settle for plain. They are always out of the other kinds unles you arrive at the butt crack of dawn.
