My wife and I ate here last night! It was fantastic, the atmosphere was great! We started with the risotto balls and the steak bruschetta(this was an appetizer special) outstanding then my wife had the veal chop and I had the stuffed veal chop both were out of this world!!! Our server Danielle was very personable and professional she new her stuff and we were well taken care of. If you live in the area and you don’t eat here you’re making a huge mistake!!!

Our first visit to Andrea 25, I was very impressed with the décor and the lighting on the interior. it was very comfortable and had a nice familiar feeling to it. we enjoyed our dinner very much, our waiter was very attentive and took great care of us. I had the broccoli rabe with sausage egg roll which was delicious, and the veal cinque. My wife had their eggplant parmesan. we both enjoyed ourselves immensely and I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal and a terrific setting

Went with friends for dinner on Saturday night. Wine was bad, prob old bottle, should not ordered by glass, but crowd of 6 did not want same, waiter tried making up with free hand pour on 2nd glass. Avocado salad terrible, Shrimp dish average, friends chicken dish terrible, I do not write reviews heck i can’t even spell. But what a wast of $ 160 per couple. They tried but tried portray cool, they need work on good. I apologize for being negative. This is my first bad review in last 100 restaurant visits, even went to Texas Road House for lunch terrific.

Tyson and Staff were amazing ! We had our daughters Communion Party hosted in Commack. I can’t say enough about their hospitality and sense of ease from day 1. There was constant talk about the food and how great it was prepared and served — 67 Italians in one room is hard to please but they pulled it off ! Thank you so much for your warmth caring and thoughtful consideration given to our daughter on this special day. Graze tante

Really impressed with the food, service, ambiance and overall experience. At first glance you would not expect to be treated to such an exceptional pleasant dining experience. We were seated immediately in a warm dining room. Our wait staff introduced themselves and made us feel welcome immediately. Warm bread and large drinks kicked the evening off and set the tone. FYI Gorgonzola or Blue Cheese stuffed olives in my sapphire — yes please. Calamari and salad were a great start. Crispy and spicy no complaints. Kids meal had some of the best fries we have had in a long time. Linguine and clams top notch. Rigatoni ala vodka as a side to my veal Marsala was so big and so delicious I got a little confused as to which was the entrée and which was the side. Most notable the chicken scarpiello Andrea and the brownie and ice cream. Killer.

If you are looking for a relaxing meal, don’t go here. It was SOO noisy! I couldn’t wait to go outside. With the exception of the broccoli rabe(awful) the food was pretty good, but there are so many other Italian restaurants where you could hear your companions’ conversations.

Even though this is in a strip mall, was an excellent dining experience. Once inside the décor was excellent. Antipasto plate was very good. Goat cheese ravioli with pesto sauce was also spot on. My wife raved about the lobster ravioli. Topped off with the best cannoli of my life. We will be back for sure.

Been to this restaurant twice in the past three weeks. The first time was a Monday night in a half empty dining room. The food was very good and the ambiance was great. The second time was a Friday night. It was awful. SOLOUD. I don’t mind a little noise, but you couldn’t even have a conversation with friends! I think the owners/managers should sit down at a table on a weekend nite and see what kind of dining experience they are subjecting patrons to. I would never go back on a weekend; there are hundreds of restaurants on Long Island and it’s just not worth the tension.

What a great meal, what great tasting entrees, what great customer service, what great mixology from the bartender, what a great freaken dining experience. I love this place!!! Second time here and wanted to wait to make sure it wasn’t a fluke how great the first time was, so let me tell you… This place rocks. They serve great food here and you leave feeling very content. Veal, chicken, fish, 24oz porterhouse, pasta dishes some of the best tasting… It’s like all about the food and the owners’ understand that, and get it right! Monday and Tuesday nights they offer a sampling menu of two appetizers, two entrée’s, and two desserts… Smaller portions but you get to see and taste the goodness. If you’re looking for a great Italian restaurant, make time to stop in… You won’t be disappointed… and don’t forget the stuffed Oreo zeppoles. Ciao

Excellent service and food. Manager Tysen went above and beyond to make sure one of our guests received the Chardonnay she would enjoy, this is exactly how customer service should be. Would highly recommend and return.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for ages, since I really don’t have a Go To Italian restaurant. Well, I may have found one at last! I tried several times to make reservations on the weekends, and only late times came up. Finally, I was able to get an early Saturday table.(I don’t know why this was an issue because the restaurant was pretty quiet around the opening time at 5 pm.). But i finally got my table and headed over. Upon entering i really liked the ambience and the décor. A lot of black and whites, but modern yet elegant. Our server came immediately and greeted us, and asked if we were here before. Finding out it was our first time, he gave us a nice overview of the menu and the portion sizes, etc. We started with the house wines, which were good. I ordered the clams oreganato as an app, which came out quickly and very hot. They were not large, but very tasty. By this point I had a feeling that I was going to enjoy this dinner very much. For my entrée’ I had one of the nightly specials, a seafood and linguini dish, I believed was called Linguini Peter, or something close to that. My date had the Salmon Campisi. The waiter told me about their signature sauce, the Luciano sauce. He urged me to try the special in that sauce. He also told me they are all about pleasing the customers and are more than willing to prepare anything in any sauce, or any way the customer would like it. My seafood linguini dish came out piping hot. The waiter checked back anxious to see if I loved it, but I hadnt yet tried it because it was so hot! I dont mean that as a negative at all, he was being very attentive. All restaurants should check with their tables a few minutes after the food is served, to see if all is good, or if anything is needed. How many do? They did at Andreas. When i finally started to devour my entrée’, I did love it! It was amazing! Their were huge chunks of scallops, and clams, and shrimp, just delicious! And the sauce was so good. Just take a look… And my date said the salmon was excellent as well. We aren’t into dessert, so I can’t comment on that. But overall, this was a very enjoyable dining experience. Delicious, hot fresh food, prompt friendly service, not low in price, but not outrageous either, I would highly recommend Andreas 25! You will leave happy and very full! We shall return as soon as we can grab a table!

Went to Andrea’s 25 tonight with half price gift card. Ran into a couple we know who joined us. They did not have the wine we ordered and 15 minutes after we ordered, they told my husband they didn’t have any more gnocchi. Didn’t offer anything to compensate, like a dessert or coffee. Food was good, not great for the money. Bread was good. Servers had no idea who ordered what. Two of our entrees were a decent size, two were quite small for the money. My main issue, which had been expressed by other reviewers was the noise level. It was ridiculously, painfully loud. We could not hear each other at all. Not a place for a romantic dinner. And to me, too expensive to not be able to have a conversation. Edited to add that I looked up the $ 40 bottle of wine we had and it sells for less than $ 12 retail. That is an insane mark up. Definitely not going back. I tried to knock the review down a star, but couldn’t. There are so many choices fit Italian food in the area. No reason to spend this much for this level of food and service.

Don’t eat here. We went there today for our 4th time, and it was awful. We ordered a mozzarella tower, a stuffed artichoke, a penne vodka, a salad, and I got a steak(medium rare) with fries. First off, they didn’t bring the artichoke with the rest of the entrees as we asked. When I got my steak it was well-done, so natural we told the waiter. When he went to take it away he split the juice from my steak all over me, and then after the waiter brought it back to the kitchen he immediately came back out to argue with us about how it was cooked. It was gray through-out and hard as a hockey puck! It was obviously over done. However, he did take it back. When it came back to the table though, it was raw. YESRAW, The inside was RED, UNCOOKED, and COLD. It was so obviously some sort of rude chef sass. I will not ever be returning. You’d think for the price, the food would be at least edible.

I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times and really liked it so this time I’m here for restaurant week. The dinner was good until the desert which I was too full so I decided to take home to my husband. I was shocked to find burnt bread pudding. The point of restaurant week is to get new customers in but for a repeat customer it is a disappointment.

After word of mouth, I decided to try it. This place will take walk-ins but good luck! I happened to be a walk-in the host who was very nice let us know we can have a table but we had to be out before the next reservation which was perfect timing! He also let us know we will be having justin as our server. I had the baked clams and penne alla vodka. Food was pretty good! The only reason I would go back is because of Justin! He had me and my friend dying at his comical personality!

A great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Always guaranteed to have a great meal and fantastic service. The management is always friendly. John and Julio are always willing to make your experience the best, Billy behind the bar can make a mean cocktail and Justin the waiter is the best. They will make anything you want — some of our favorites are stuffed eggrolls, grilled calamari, veal chop valdestano and the grilled shrimp Gabriella and or anything with the Luciano sauce. Andreas is great if you are in Commack or Woodbury try it!
