Painfully slow service, at least when it comes to drive thru service. I legitimately waited over 45 minutes one time. Unfortunately, it’s the type of drive through that sticks you in between the building and a fence so you can’t even get out if you decide to give up.

I eat Taco Bell once a week from the Commack location and have always been happy with the service, food quality and taste. Murphy’s law caught up with me tonite cause my crunchy slider had no Fritos so no crunch and my Steak Boss Nachos were really cheap on cheese, steak and all toppings. Hopefully this was just an aberration and my next visit will be excellent again.

This place has stepped up their game. I’ve rarely been disappointed with my purchases from this particular taco bell. I go here maybe once or twice a month. You also get large portions for very cheap compared to other chains, as well as large drink portions AND quite good food. They were also renovated recently and their drive through is much more efficient to navigate.

I’ve eaten at this location for the past 8 years, and only once or twice [in my hundreds of visits] have I had an order messed up. In these scenarios, I’ve been able to point out the mistake in my order to the staff, and they would immediately correct their error free of additional charges(while allowing me to keep whatever mistaken order I was given). Perhaps other reviewers with complaints of wrong orders might benefit from speaking slowly and calmly when giving their order, and understanding that throwing temper tantrums at the first sign of miscommunication doesn’t help anyone involved? To those who complain of long waits: Yes, that is typically to be expected of a location that is usually serving 20+ people(indoors and outdoors) simultaneously. After midnight — when the drive-thru becomes the only option — I have seen queues of cars which extend outside the parking lot and back onto the road. I don’t know what kind of service other reviewers are expecting in this situation, but I understand that the staff does their best to move the line along as quickly as possible while still maintaining some standard of quality with their food. It’s definitely a little frustrating to see so many people coming here just to bitch and moan about service, presumably after a single bad experience. I also can’t help but detect a slight hint of ignorance coming from some fairer-skinned folk, who I’m willing to wager aren’t particularly patient when it comes to matters of the language barrier. And could someone please tell me what«a lack of energy» is supposed to mean? This Taco Bell location is as good as any of the best of them. Bless ‘em for staying open as late as they do, and hats off to the staff for dealing with as many jerks as they do over the course of a given business day.

Really I don’t see how just making a simple order is such rocket science. I ordered 12 tacos for my family and made it very clear that 6 needed to be hard shell beef tacos. That was clearly too difficult to comprehend, so we ended up receiving 12 soft chicken tacos instead. I will no longer be a customer of this location.

This is the slowest fast-food establishment ever. Regardless of the time of day, there’s always a lack of energy with these employees — like they don’t even want to be working there. They should take a service lesson from those employees working down the road at Burger King. Extremely fast/friendly service.

I try to eat fairly healthy but I always crave Taco Bell. This location is close to the parkway so when I’m on my way home from work at dinnertime, the force that is Taco Bell occasionally pulls me in… well through the drive through lol. I always order 3 crunchy tacos«fresco» style which means no cheese or sour cream and pico de gallo in its place. Standard tacos you’d expect from Taco Bell. Tonight I also ordered the shredded chicken mini quesadilla. For $ 1 and 180 calories, it was pretty tasty. I would definitely order that again! Nothing fancy about this food, it’s fast food and it hits the spot… Cheap, fast and easy!

Oh Taco Bell… Oh the memories. Well, chicken crunchwraps are awesome and I love the baja chicken chalupa! Mexican pizzas with beans(no meat) are my JAM!

I’m going to start this off by saying we don’t eat much fast food but every once in a whole my kids can convince me to take them to Taco Bell We pulled up and there was a line of at least 10 cars at the drive thru at approximately 1:45pm on a Wednesday. With such a long line we decided to dine in. Probably a mistake. There was a line inside that went painfully slow(fast food!?) When they take your order they now ask for your name instead of assigning you a number. I guess that’s a nice touch but the girl behind the counter was having a hard time understanding orders let alone names. The food came out fairly quickly. They have a new fangled soda machine I suppose they are trying to compete with the coke machines that can make any combination of sodas but they failed. The quesaritas we ordered were surprisingly spicy. I didn’t see that as part of the advertisement but that error could be on my part. My daughter couldn’t eat hers. The most disappointing part is the place has been open for a few short months and is already greasy grimy dirty filthy. Splatters and smears on the walls. Holes in the seats. The ladies room bathroom floor was slippery as though someone greased it Gross! It will be a long time before I’m persuaded to come back.

This review is within 1 week of the grand ReOpening. Ordered regular tacos and other stuff thru the drive thru. Got home(within 5 minutes) and the crunchy tacos were all broken and soggy. Additionally, there was no lettuce on the taco. Can’t even get the simplest item correct. I’m done w you Taco Bell. Green Cactus won me over very easily !

Probably the worstTaco Bell in the U.S. The employees are indifferent, the dining area is a mess, and the prices are high. The«cinnamon twist» lady, who usually takes the food orders, seems to be battery operated … she always asks, in a monotone robotic voice, «Would you like to try the cinnamon twists with that?» . This franchise survives only because it is in New York.

I couldn’t give this place zero stars because the rating system wouldn’t permit it. This place is literally taco hell. You know why you go here(to tempt death). You don’t need a review to tell you to go or not to go. I just would never recommend it.
