Grand Buffet

I’ve eaten here over a dozen times over the years, always hoping for a change. And it never is. Getting a headache after every meal always confirms MSG usage and the most recent experience included getting sick. This place is a legitimate health concern.

Only giving 1 star because there is no «negative» number rating on Unilocal,or else this place is –10 stars! All food on the buffet was luke warm and so dried out you could hardly bite it from sitting so long. Looking around, the place was filthy. The asian lady who seemed to be the only employee in the place was too busy clearing dishes off empty tables to even refill our drink (which was the best part of the meal). We didnt even finish 1 plate of food and left after paying $ 26 for 2 people. Asked the rude employee for a drink to go and she rolled her eyes and gave a big huff like i was bothering her. We will never go back.

Buffet!?! Ah crap, this will end poorly for me won’t it? Unless I’m in Vegas, where it’s all sunshine, hookers, cocaine, and awesome buffets, I always walk out of a buffet feeling like crap. This was no exception.
Grand Buffet (advertised as Hibachi Grand Buffet or something of that sort on the sign) is your fairly run of the mill Chinese buffet.
Here are my impressions of some typical items:
Various chicken and pork dishes with various sauces — not particularly good or bad.
Hibachi grill — you have a limited but reasonable selection of raw ingredients. You do not have the choice of sauces. The food tasted good, but one piece of chicken was still raw.
Shrimp dumplings — surprisingly good.
Sushi — shockingly bad. Hey Hibachi Grand Buffet — stop making sushi. You really can’t do it well.
Service is as weak as can be expected from Asian restaurants. This isn’t a huge negative since it’s a buffet.
Hibachi Grand Buffet isn’t that bad, but it is definitely on the lower tier of buffets. I agree with the other diners — pass on this one.

In town for Nopi car show and decided to try it out. Decent selection. Hibachi grille was pretty good. Table service was alittle weak. $ 10.99 for dinner. Price should be around $ 8.99.

Unless you like all you can eat Crab Rangoon, which was fantastic, the rest was sub 1 star.

Pass on this one.
