A Plus Princess Nails & Spa

My girlfriends and I booked manicures ahead of time at Princess Nails for our Prom — when we arrived at our designated time we were asked to wait… we waited for an entire hour before being seated. The station was covered in nail clippings and acrylic dust — it was a complete mess. We continued to wait at our stations for an additional 20 minutes before our service was started. My technician was not friendly, did not smile. The only thing she said to me the entire time was that she was «very hungry.» I felt sorry for the girl.
My manicure came out okay. The service itself was executed quickly but without much care. My acrylics came out lumpy. The drill tore up my cuticles. No lotion, no cuticle oil. I’d book elsewhere.

I got toenail fungus from this place like 3 years ago and am still struggling to get rid of it completely. I will never go back and I will most certainly NEVER take my daughter here. Do yourself a favor and go to a real salon for a pedicure. The extra $ 20 you spend will be worth it all around.

Just like any place– you have you’re really good nail technicians who take their time and pride themselves in their work– and then you have those that are sloppy and don’t care. I’ve had the misfortune of having a few bad but those that are the good ones do amazing work.

This is definitely my go to nail salon, I have acrylics and fills done on a regular basis. Everyone is very friendly, but if you just want to kick back and watch the big screens that’s ok too! They really are artist there and I have my favorite… but I’m not going to tell you their name because I’m selfish! Just like any other service you’re paying for, be up front and let your artist know what you would like and how you prefer your nails done… thin, square, rounded, etc. And if you aren’t totally happy with the result, just let them know! I’m incredibly picky and a tad OCD… and they have always catered to my polite requests!

Some of these other reviewers are crazy, or maybe they just haven’t been here in long enough. My girl friends and I visited this place for a spa day on a recommendation. I was so impressed with the whole ordeal! It was a little busy, but they got us into pedicure chairs to soak until they were ready. Their chairs we so comfortable, and we got to watch a movie the whole time we got our nails done. We got shellac on our toes, then sat at the tables to get our fingernails done. My technician was very fast and efficient. He was also very polite, and we exchanged easy conversation. My nails were beautifully shaped and ended up gorgeous. Overall, I was very impressed! I will definitely come back! I think it is very clean, and the staff is very professional. Also, they have mini pedicure chairs for children… which are adorable!

Love Princess Nails. Very clean salon. Always able to accomodate even on very short notice. Walkins are always welcome. Hugh TV’s to keep you occupied. Friendly staff that speaks to you in ENGLISH. I have never been disappointed. Infact best French manicure I ever got was from here.

Although the technicians were friendly I found their manicures are too costly and didn’t last too long. I got a liquid gel manicure and the tech told me I could come in at any time if I needed a fix or anything and gaurented my satisfaction. He was very friendly and talked to me and my bf… His name was Pat. Shortly after I paid and left I was looking at my nails and found a hair in my nail… Ewe! He reluctantly fixed them but didn’t seen to impressed. Then 2 days later two of my nails chipped but when I came in he wasn’t even working and I had to wait about 30 mins for someone to fix it. Even though when I called they said I could just walk and and they would fix it. Not sure it was worth it or if Ill be back again especially since when I came back the tech totally ignored me! He listened music and talked to the tech next to us in his language and twice he left me alone! How rude! I was gonna give him a tip but I decided not to since he didn’t seem to care at all. And two days later one of my nails came off! So much for the gaurentee! I will not be coming back!

VERY disappointed. I decided to try here since it had 2 5-​star reviews. I must agree that my tech was rude and found the other techs around us to be rude as well. My mani and pedi were the worst I have ever received. I had a chipped nail so asked him to fix — he couldn’t be bothered. Very messy nails, and the pedi was far from enjoyable. I will acknowledge that the place was clean. I am surprised that it was as busy as it was — if this is the best in Concord, I’ll wait until I get home before I get my nails done again. Sorry :-(

Today was my first visit to Princess Nails, and it has earned my business! When I arrived, it was clean and inviting, and I was kindly greeted immediately. My technician was Cindy, and she was kind and very thorough with both my manicure and pedicure. It was busy but the employees were happy and efficient, without seeming rushed. I really enjoyed my hour there, and was sad when it was over. I’ll be back very soon!
**edited to say that my manicure peeled off within 2 days. I would have come back in to have it re-​done but I just didn’t have the time. My pedicure is still fabulous looking after a week, so that’s good.

I found Princess Nails to be clean, welcoming, and had a wide variety of gel nail colors. My nail technician was rude, rushed, and frankly had an off putting attitude the entire time. The reason for the three stars is that the time and effort put into the manicure was not great. My nails are messy around the edges, the hand massage lasted less than two minutes, and I felt uncomfortable asking for my preferences because of the poor attitude of my technician. I’m not sure I would go back.

I love this place! I haven’t had my nails done in over 2 years due to a bad experience and when I finally shipped around I was hesitant. When I called Princess nails for an appointment at 7pm they said they could get me in in 15 minutes. When I got there I was surprised at how clean and open the salon was. They greeted me right away and brought me to a chair after I chose my shellac colors. I decided on a shellac French manicure. Gerry did my nails and he was quick and gentle. I am so picky and my nails look so cute. I will definitely be returning. :)

I had high hopes for this place. And I am not picky.
It was super packed when I first got there, which I thought for sure was a good sign. Nope. I waited at least 3 – 5 minutes before being acknowledged, and then was told to sit at a pedicure station and wait. A mother and daughter walked in behind me and they were greeted instantly, and sat in the two pedicure stations next to me. We all waited for a good 10 minutes before a male nail tech started the mother’s water and started her pedi… after I had been waiting. No big deal. I waited another 10 – 15 mins before another nail tech came over and started working on my feet.
Now I foolishly have the idea that if you are working for a tip, you’ll at least TRY to be nice? She rushed on my feet so much that she offered me the «deluxe package» pedicure which I said I wanted for an extra $ 10, and she never ended up doing that. After being stabbed in the toe cuticle and receiving the quickest toe prep I have ever had, she proceeded to give me the worst French pedi. White tips that were very thick and one top coat. Usually at other places they at least put a sheer pink coat on. I waited longer to have this done than the whole process.
Silly me, I then wanted a eyebrow wax.
Since when do nail salons do waxing in front of everyone else? Another nail tech sat me in a chair in the main salon room and started to wax my eyebrows… a little awkward? Other places at least sit you in the backroom… anyway, she did a terrible job, didn’t even show me what it looked like after she did it. I got no goodbye or have a nice day when I walked out. (sigh) I noticed when I got into my car that she had over plucked into my brow and left a small hole to the bottom of it and the ends of my brow weren’t even touched. I will say that it had cleared out considerable by the time my pedi was started that there was no excuse for rushing and the get-​in get-​out attitude.
NEVER again.

Just moved here from NY. I had the same guy do my nails for years– since I was in high school– so I was worried I wouldn’t find the right nail technician up here. I had Lien do my nails (pink and white, gel) and she did an amazing job! I would very highly recommend her. The staff is very friendly and works efficiently and quickly. I’ve continued to go back ever since!
