I was in the mood for some late night tacos. Not the good kind of tacos, but the really crappy ones that you can only get at places like Burger King(hint: not all locations have them) Well, at 9:40 we walk up to the entrance to find it locked. Looked at the hours posted, looked at my phone, why is this happening? Walk around to the other entrance, and voila, it’s open. After taking two steps inside, the boy behind the counter informed us that they were actually closed. The fact: They were not closed. We just happened to stumble upon him flirting with a girl at the counter, and apparently that is WAYYY more important than doing your job, which happens to be providing customer service. I don’t care where you work; whether it’s a five star restaurant, or a shit hole in the middle of nowhere. Customer service is customer service. To the player trying to work his game as he’s dressed in a Burger King uniform; may I suggest next time you want to work on your flirting skills, do so on your own time.

Got a chicken burger but couldn’t finish it. I bought my cousin one of those gigantic burgers and he couldn’t finish his either. Total was a little over $ 20. Too expensive for a fast food place but their fries are thick and hot so those were yummy. Bathrooms could be cleaner.

Stuck in drive thru for about 15 minutes now. All I want is a mango smoothie. Service is soooooo slow!!! I agree with the other reviews about the bad service here

Came here the other night on a whim and was beyond disappointed since the staff made SEVERAL mistakes with our order. We ordered the following: 1 large cherry icee 1 medium sprite 2 double bacon cheeseburgers 1 rodeo burger 1 cheeseburger 10 piece chicken nuggets We were in the drive thru and when we went to the pick up window, the woman tried to give us a coke icee. We explained that we ordered a cherry icee so she replaced it. Then, she handed us the bag and said have a nice night. After pulling away, we realized that she didn’t give us the sprite so we had to pull up to the front, get out and get the sprite inside. This totally defeats the purpose of drive thru. Not to mention when I went inside, no one apologized and when I was finally handed my sprite, they didn’t even give me a straw. Completely poor service. Then, to top it all off when we got home and went to eat, BOTH of the double bacon cheeseburgers lacked any bacon at all AND the rodeo burger didn’t have any cheese in it. The papers that the burgers were wrapped in and the receipt clearly indicated our correct order, but whoever physically made them was not paying attention. Soooooo annoying and will never ever go back to this location. Poor service combined with poor quality, no thank you!

I’ve been behind the car that’s now at the window in the drive thru for 25 minutes, and long enough to log on to Unilocal and write this while going nowhere. Certainly not towards a whopper jr as intended.

This place needs to train their employees on customer service and being friendly. The culture is negative and the employees are not patient and friendly. They need more training.

We stopped by here right before the Backstreet Boys concert because the road leading up to Sleep Train Pavilion was literally a parking lot. Instead of spending a gazillion dollars on food at the concert, we figured we could fill our tummies for much, much less at Burger King. Apparently they were a little backed up with orders, so they kindly asked us to park in the front, and we had our food hand delivered to the car. That’s what you call service.

Gross. This is the filthiest BK I’ve ever been too. The employees seem to be so careless & inappropriate in front of customers. Twice here, prolly not a third. Ill rather drive the distance for another BK location. Wish I can give no stars. They have the drive thru customers on intercom– loud speakers. I can hear it loud and clear. The employees would make fun of what the customers would order if they said it incorrectly or sounds funny when they have special request. Its so immature. Not only that, my order takes so long. If they could JUST make the burger instead of goofing around– that would be nice. It wasn’t even busy, mind you. No one was there besides a man ahead of me. If I am ever around that location. I would just go to Five Guys. Its much yummier anyways.

All I can say is PEACHICEDTEA! *Tastes like snapple’s peach iced tea but way sweeter and oh so refreshing. Their newest drink to be added to the menu :) If you haven’t tried it, it’s definitely a must.

I visited this BK on a Wednesday around 12:15 to grab a working lunch. I went inside to order. This BK is very spacious and clean, both inside the restaurant and ladies room — much appreciated! For the lunch rush there was about 10 of us waiting, and approx. 6 visible employees working, including a very friendly woman I assume to be the manager. She made casual friendly conversation with people, making it clear that this BK has regulars and she recognizes and appreciates that. With only 2 people ahead of me in line to order though, the wait was considerable. What’s the reason we love fast food? Cuz it’s fast! And fast is always appreciated on a business lunch. And while the workers’ speed was adequate, it was adequate for a 3:00 slump, not what I assume is the busiest time of day. The worker behind the register would take an order, then walk away for probably 2 minute stretches instead of just ringing everyone up and letting the other workers handle bagging up food, etc. While I’ve never worked in the industry, this seems like the best way to keep things moving along. And because of this lack of urgency, it also took a while to receive my food. I’d say the entire order-to-receipt process was twelve minutes — which is an eternity in fast food terms. But props must be given — they got my order of the Alaskan Fish with cheese and onion rings perfect, and it was delicious, hot and fresh. A delicious meal always makes a long wait worthwhile. So thank you BK for my yummy lunch!

I certainly understand the two-star rating. I went into this pace prior to a Concord Pavilion Concert to keep from ordering food at this outrageously priced venue. I wish I had gone a block or two further. When I walked in it was like the twilight zone. The cashiers moved in slow motion. Notwithstanding the fact that there were plenty of employees behind the counter, there was no synergy, sense of urgency or camaraderie. Both bathrooms were being cleaned simultaneously and when you looked around you saw two things(1) a lot of people that look like they couldn’t wait for a remake of «Deliverance,» and(2) impatient people waiting too long for food. I will say that the place has plenty of parking and was clean but neither of these attributes were enough to garner a favorable rating.

Normally, I’d give this place 3 stars, but when I went the other day and ordered a simple double cheese burger with fries I ended up getting exactly what I ordered… but cold. The first bite was good but after that it was like playing a game of minesweeper. Random sections of the burger would be cold and other sections would be warm — unfortunately I had done drive thru so I didn’t know about this until I was back on the main street. I’ve come to this location quite a few times and I’ve noticed the quality is a bit shoddy and inconsistent, so this time around was my «last straw». I didn’t want to give such a low rating, but when it comes to food, especially fast food, it MUST be warm! I mean I know fast food is suppose to be Fast, but it’s suppose to be Food too. Therefore, just a heads up when you come to this location — it’s kind of like playing russian roulette… but with your stomach.

I rarely ever eat fast food but this particular day I had driven from San Jose and hadn’t eaten all day and still had too much to do so I swung by this place. A mistake. First, there are a bunch of young high school kids just hanging outside — the usual pants-on-the-ground idiots and they may have been the nicest kids ever, they just didn’t give that appearance. I want to go through the drive through to get in and out and of course, the lady tells me to go wait on the side and they’ll bring my sandwich to me since it’s not ready. Usually this means a good 15 minute wait(if you’re lucky). I’m not waiting 15 minutes. I watch my clock as these idiots are goofing off right by my car. I watch other cars pull in, behind a line of cars, get their food and leave — all the while I’m still sitting there like an idiot. I see people walk in and come out a few minutes later with their food. Clearly they’ve forgotten about me, I go in and demand to talk to the manager. I have to keep looking out the window because the idiots are right by my car, so that was a joy. I’m flipping my lid and before I can finish each sentence, she keeps cutting me off going«I understand what you’re saying.» You do? Then why not let me finish the sentence? And of course, they had forgotten about me, as always happens when they tell you to pull around the side and wait as nothing was made. My food wasn’t there, wasn’t even being prepared. If I had not come in, I never would have gotten anything. The manager then went and got my food as I waited there. I demanded a number to the corporate office to talk to. She went in the back and came back with a card with a handwritten number, which I’m assuming was her friend who would pretend to be her boss. Not sure why I wasn’t given an official card or something. I wasted 20 minutes there because these idiots are clueless. Anyway, I never did call — I could have went home and just looked up the corporate number on the website but I figure this is their livelihood and I don’t want to cost some fast food employee their job, especially in this economy. Hopefully some people will read this, though, and avoid the place.

I stop by this Burger King more than I’d care to admit. There are not that many drive through locations this end of Clayton when I am on my way back home from meetings and need to grab something to eat quick. They are always happy to accommodate any special requests and have very rarely messed up my order.
