Their pizza compares to the best in the North End of Boston. Their meatballs are sublime, and their fresh rolls are almost a meal in themselves. The wait staff is always friendly. If you want a delicious local hidden treasure… you found it.

chicken parm I know I already recommended this in my other review, but I can’t help but talk about it. And frankly, my wife and friends are sick of hearing me talk about CC Tomatoes chicken parm

It’s a nice casual Italian/Pizza place. The staff is very friendly and all seemed happy. I sat in the bar and it was full on a Wednesday night. The menu looks very good but I just ordered the Imperial pizza. The small is quite large so I am assuming the portions are large for everything. I am not a lover of large portions over quality so give me a fair portion that is to die for any day. I wanted the pizza to be incredible but it was just OK and rather bland. The crust did not have much flavor and the toppings were sparse. Overall an OK experience and I may try it again but will taste one of the dinners next time. It was busy so the large portions may be their secret sauce but as a traveling fool or foodie it was just OK. Worth a try but I would recommend trying one of their more popular dinners vs pizza. Chao and bababooey to ya all

We went here because another similarly rated Italian restaurant in town was full. We should have gone elsewhere. For starters, some of the waitstaff were dressed like it was a day at Hampton Beach. Seriously. Then there was the uninspired food. It was the equivalent of a mediocre version of fast-food hamburger. Sure, it’s a hamburger but it in no way resembles what you’d eat off the grill in your backyard. It was so uninspired I’m uninspired to write anything further about it. Don’t waste your money or time. ETA: my husband’s French onion soup? Said it tasted like it was from a can with some bread and cheese on top. It was awful.

We always check out the Lasagna when we try an Italian restaurant for the first time. The food was great. What made it standout was that it DIDNOT taste just like lasagna at other restaurants. It did not taste salty or sweet, but had great Italian flavors. Our waitress was very attentive and made dinning there very pleasant. The only negative we had was that a group of parents and kids came and sat next to us about half-way through dinner, so we had a harder time talking. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and we’ll return.

Been here several times, but today they weren’t on their game. Got the eggplant ravioli which was very doughy and mushy. Have been here a few times before and food was always pretty good. Hoping today was just a bad day for them.

The mozzarella balls were Okay, not life changing. Service was great though! Their«tour of Italy» was amazing, with some amazing Alfredo sauce, and the eggplant ravioli was perfection! The bread is fresh, flaky, and wonderful. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

CC Tomatoes is a great place. Huge portions, great menu selection and friendly service. I have been to Tomatoes several times and have never left disappointed. I have enjoyed their brick oven pizza to their harvest chicken to a bone in rib eye steak. Great place to get a fantastic meal.

Food was ok. Service was absent. Food took about 45 minutes to arrive. Waitress forgot about us most of the time even though there were not many people eating. Dining room was cold. Restrooms were really warm. Wish I could have eaten in there. This was my second time. Won’t go again. It hadn’t gotten any better.

I have been hearing about C C Tomatoes on 107.7 The Pulse for a number of years. I had the Sausage Soup and Mammas spaghetti and meatballs. All met my expectations of being very good and nice and hot. This is my new alternative to The Olive Garden. I will be back to try their chili and their lasagna in the near future. The three star rating is due to the not so well kept dining area and the casualness of the wait person. The food by it self I would put at a four.

Chicken was swapped for my shrimp florentine and it was DELICIOUS. Best dish I’ve had here. Bartenders are wonderful. Local go-to.

Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants and for someone like myself that’s gluten free, it has a super menu for those with celiac… will definitely return!

I highly recommend this place to anyone. Especially for the mozzarella balls. I tried them for the first time and was just astounded at how good they were. Not too salty, not too greasy, just damn right. Pasta ain’t bad either.

In my mind there are fast-food, mid-tier, upscale, and fine dining restaurants. It makes no sense to compare one category to another: think Michelin-starred restaurants compared to a pizza joint. Within each category, each may earn 4 or 5 stars, but they have very little in common and the food, service, and overall experience will be very different. CC Tomatoes is a mid-tier. Since we went for an early lunch, the service was excellent. We were not rushed, not did we feel neglected. 4 stars I had a coffee, the grilled chicken panini(grilled chicken breast with pesto, greens, tomato, and Asiago cheese), chips, and a raspberry lemonade. I expected the bread for the panini to be grilled on the outside like a normal panini — instead it appeared to be focaccia(with not much flavor) and toasted only on the inside. There was too much bread for the sandwich, and I didn’t eat it all. When asked if the chips were homemade we were told no, but were assured that they were very good. Turns out they were probably just Ruffles with Ridges. Average food for a mid-tier restaurant. 3 stars Price $ 10.50 plus tip. Good value — certainly enough food for the average person.

We live close to Cc tomatoes and we used to get pizza from them about once a month. It was always excellent. We stopped ordering from cc’s about 2 years ago… no reason. A month back we ordered a large polo Bianco pizza and it was just ok. The other pizza places around are just as good if not better. The crust is very thin and there just is not much to it anymore. I ordered a Caesar salad tonight with double chicken. The salad is very weak! 13 dollars for 2 cups of lettuce and 4 bites of chicken. You can get a better salad at Wendy’s for ½ the price. I won’t go back there. There is nothing that distinguishes them from the other pizza places anymore. Maybe their other meals are still good but save your money if you want pizza and salad.

Decent Italian meal tonight. Very convenient location for me as I live right around the corner. Food was fresh and service was prompt and efficient. We had our 8 year old son with us and the children’s menu had nice options. Kind of loud and a little crowded in the dining room. I feel like we sat extremely close to the next table. Overall this place was pretty good. We will be back.

This is another place that seems sort of hit or miss. A few times the food was good, a few times not so good. It’s extremely noisy between the bar and dining area. Hard to hold a conversation. The female bartenders are great. The male. not so great. Lunch is usually more enjoyable than dinner. We go because it’s not far from home, but there are much better places in Concord.

This was our first time going to CC’s. We had a group of seven. It was a Saturday night at 6:30 — all of our other favorites had a crazy wait. I called CC’s and they had call ahead seating — but said we may still have to wait a few — which I figured. We arrive at 7 pm and are seated right away. It was busy, between people coming in for take out(they do pizza too) and all the patrons. The building is nice, modern and clean. There is a nice bar area and a couple of rooms for seating, all in all very comfortable. The mix of patrons was casual, families, people dressed very casually and some people dressed for a night on the town. We were waiting on two people, and we were starving. They brought us bread and martinis(I will post a picture). The bread is like bertuccis — very filling and yummy, they serve it with butter. I had a little trouble finding what I wanted on the menu. It was filled with creamy sauces and traditional italian fare. I saw someone who had mussels that looked amazing but I could not find that option on the menu or specials and forgot to ask. Once our whole party arrived we ordered and got more drinks, the sicilian kiss was AMAZING. A layered and strong martini. The service was good and quick and they kept the bread coming. I got the greek salad and added grilled chicken to the top. The dressing was very good and simple, basically and oil and vinegar mix with herbs, so much better than the creamy greek dressings. The chicken was very good. People in my party got chicken parm, tortellini, chicken alfredo etc. Everybody thought the food was very good. Prices were pretty good also. This place is going to give you a good atmosphere, good food, good service at a good price. They are not going to have fresh cracked pepper, fresh cheese to sprinkle, oil for dipping or any of that, which for some reason I found refreshing. A true definition of a family owned neighborhood restaurant. I would love to go back in the summer and see the outdoor seating area.

First, the critique: CC Tomatoes is not a gourmet Italian establishment. There will be no table service of freshly-grated cheese or cracked black pepper. When you order soup the waitress will toss you a plastic-wrapped parcel of crackers. The bread is heated but not baked fresh. The iced tea will be served without a wedge of lemon. Finally, a minor quibble: the plural of raviolo is ravioli; therefore, the word raviolis is non-standard(incorrect). I would expect an Italian restaurant to get this right. Second, the food: I ordered CC Tomatoes Pasta Limone(pasta, sauteed chicken breast, broccoli, in a lemon-cream sauce). The dish was surprisingly tasty. After my beverage and soup service, I was not hopeful about the entrée. In fact, it was so delicious, I found myself eating up the portion I had reserved to bring home. My dining companion had a calamari dish with pasta. She reported that the calamari were cooked perfectly and that the pickled peppers balanced off nicely the rest of the dish. For the prices charged my first impression is that my meal was worth the money. I would like to try a few more dishes before I can review above 3 stars. They could certainly pay closer attention to some dining details(cheese and pepper, and perhaps a better quality of lettuce for their salads.
