Excellent breakfast and cheap! It’s a local place with a good atmosphere and menu is great.

We were excited to try this restaurant and came hungry and planned to order a lot of food. We came New Year’s Day and there was a 15 min wait, which is a good indication that the food is good, so we didn’t mind. Ordered eggs Benedict with bacon and side pancake and bf ordered ham and cheese omelette. They use frozen deep fried home fries, which I find lots of places have been doing lately. This is like having French fries for breakfast. They had no spices or salt and were very lackluster. I would have rather them spent time to cook them on the grill. Eggs Benedict was powdered Benedict that most diners use, but again no flavor or spices and I found everything bland. My bfs ham and cheese omelette was great and full of cheese and ham and was at least 3 eggs. Toast was thin regular white toast. Negatives: waitress forgot our oj and never refilled coffees or checked on us at all even though there was no longer a wait and restaurant was slowing down. Positives: cute diner atmosphere and quick food. Strong hot coffee and comfortable booths. We will be going back to our regular breakfast location of the Circle Restaurant in Epsom because they have a lot more creative menu choices and much more flavor. They also have fresh cut home fries with a ton of flavor!
This place has really gone downhill. I was in the mood for breakfast one afternoon on a Sunday so I went there by myself. I ordered a vegetable omelet, hash brown potatoes, and bacon with coffee. The place was not busy yet my waitress acted like she was in a huge hurry. My breakfast finally came but they gave me a ham and cheese omelette of which I bit into an egg shell. The omelette was rubbery as if it had been made in the morning then heated up in the microwave. The potatoes had obviously been sitting around for awhile, and the bacon was so bad I could not even eat it. I have never in my life not to been able to eat bacon! In the meantime, the waitresses were gossiping and complaining about other people /wait staff. So loudly that everybody could hear. The atmosphere was horrible. Needless to say this was a very an enjoyable experience. I had gone to the corner View Restaurant in the past and really enjoyed it. I was so disappointed and I will never go back again.

We found this little gem driving by looking for a Breakfast place. Really clean restaurant and friendly staff. I ordered an egg white omelet packed full of bacon, cheese and grilled tomatoes on top. It came with potatoes on the side and choice of toast. It was delicious. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m looking forward to trying lunch some day.

Breakfast is great but the dinner lately has been off… I’ve been going since I was a toddler.

Cheap, quick, and friendly staff. The breakfast menu is not the biggest, but it definitely has all the essentials!

I think they must be using cheaper ingredients… Or have a new cook? I normally order Maggie’s Farm. The last two visits, the bacon used seems to have a somewhat artificial maple flavor and is all hard gristle like some pre– packaged chopped stuff. It makes this usually good omelet completely unappetizing! Come on Cornerview., quit going cheap!

Not gluten friendly… Food is okayish… Service is amazing. My grandmother and I went here together for lunch. She seems to enjoy it quite a bit and the prices are very reasonable. They didn’t seem very gluten knowledgeable, so I decided to get a salad and play it safe. The salad was quite lackluster and was composed of mostly iceberg lettuce. I also found a croûton in my salad… A piece of bread in the gluten intolerant guys salad. Anyway, I will go back and give them another chance. Our server was incredibly friendly and really made the place have a homey feel.

We went for lunch on Sunday. It was great. Broiled haddock was almost as good as Legal Seafood. Stuffed turkey as delicious. Maybe the good chef works on Sunday. For a diner style restaurant, I give it five stars.

Classic diner feel and a great place for brunch. They have pretty good omelettes and pancakes that are almost as big as frisbees. The staff is very nice.

Great place to grab a decent bite to eat. Definitely has a home cooked feel at a affordable price. Try the turkey dinner it’s delicious. Service wasn’t bad but it didn’t take away from the food.

Here’s another case of a good restaurant that has fallen. It used to be pretty decent. I know this will sound like a Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare episode, but the dining room is stuck in the 1980’s. Very dated, now normally that doesn’t bother me, but the problem is that I don’t think it’s been cleaned since the 1980’s. Menu isn’t much better. My mom who is 78 loves the place! Maybe that’s who they are targeting, the senior crowd. They do still have the«Blue Plate Special». Breakfast used to be pretty good, but nothing special. I live just up the street from them, I still can’t understand why there is a lone out the door!

YUM… Yum…YUM for my tummy tum tum! Thankfully I have been going to this amazing little gem for years! I have to say that out of the hundreds of meals we have eaten here not one has been unworthy! Regardless if it’s breakfast, Lunch, dinner or more breakfast everything on this menu is DELICIOUS! PLUS… they serve breakfast all day & night! Aside from carrying our favorite menu items, like the Prime Rib, Chicken Parm, The most Delicious Millennium Burger and fairly decent size Fish & Chips they also have in their midst our favorite waitress Jen and it would be a toss up if I had to pick between the two but don’t tell Jen I said that! They have the most yummy specials and you can’t beat the prices! I am not sure why there are other less favorable reviews unless they went a day when it was PACKED I could see a few things falling in the cracks… oops I mean falling through the cracks on days like that… LLL ~ Mel

This review is based on one visit. We went here for breakfast, and I was not wowed. My husband’s eggs Benedict was average, but my french toast was not good. The bread was barely dipped in egg wash so it wasn’t much more than grilled bread. If we go again, I will try the pancakes.

If you are looking for a unique breakfast experience Cornerview is not the place for you. Very basic breakfast with canned corned beef hash(fine as a hangover remedy but too salty), home fries are blocks of faintly seasoned potatoes and nothing you can’t make at home. They are not fond of going off the menu either. Old school décor, clean, decent service and fair prices. I live in concord and can tell you the ‘view is a benefactor of limited competition and townies not changing. I recently«found» the Newell Post in Concord. Think it opened in the past year(I have no affiliation with the restaurant) and they have the best breakfast in town. Onto the next feed …

We went for breakfast and got there a little after 8. Sat down right away, but soon after, the place started filling up. The farmer’s breakfast was pretty good, except I’d prefer the hash browns to not be huge chunks of potatoes. Some people might like that, but I like them chopped smaller. The pancakes were big and fluffy. Another review mentioned the bacon was average and I’d agree. A little too dry for my liking but not bad. Overall, the food was good and the service was pretty quick.

Go here for breakfast often. Breakfast is decent but lunch is more for a person who doesn’t like to eat… Grilled cheese or a super greasy party melt. Yuck! We always enjoy our breakfast. Just don’t ask for extra hollandaise sauce on your weekend Benedict. They don’t like to do any substitutes or extras. Poor waitresses have to work with such a grumpy cook. Always great waitress service. Sometimes slow with coffee. But, overall it’s a family place with a decent breakfast.

Certainly not bad, but nothing special. The bacon wasn’t very good, and I’m a big fan of restaurant bacon so tht lost them points right off the bat. The home fries were decent but not great. The service was a little slow, but not outrageous. All in all it was a fair to midland breakfast. I don’t know that I would go back, but I could see this being a good backup in case your usual breakfast joint is closed or full
