Weird. It’s right by the Stillwell station, which is great… and I had walked by it for a year and a half before realizing they have bubble tea(which I haven’t tried yet, but will). However, one day I stopped on my way home from work to pick up Chinese take-out. Their menu is a mix of Chinese-American and some Thai. I ordered Pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and fried wontons. The Pad Thai was okay, though a little bland. Mainly noodles, hardly any peanuts or veggie. It seemed day-old. The chicken fried rice was standard and I didn’t have any issue with it. The fried wontons simply weren’t fried wontons… they were gyoza dumplings dripping in some sort of disgusting sauce(garlic sauce maybe?). They had been pan-fried(not deep fried) in oil that was old(I don’t think rancid) and they had an overpowering scorched/burnt oil flavor that you could taste through the sauce. They were inedible and went into the trash. What a waste(of my money). They had a couple different dumplings & wontons on the menu; I guess they decided to make me different from what I’d ordered… but they couldn’t make it decent. It took a long time for them to prepare the food(for a take-out Chinese food place, that is). As my mother would say, «what’d they have to do? go kill the cow?»(or in this case, the chicken…) The deserts displayed in their case looked good, but my bill was already too high for what was intended to be dinner for one. Other than to try the bubble tea, I definitely won’t be back. Think of this place as a Chinese bakery, but not a place for take-out. It’s obviously just an add-on thing for them.

Great Chinese food! Had the chicken & veggies with extra shrimp. The chicken/veggies was really yummy. I did not like the shrimp. It wasn’t fresh. This would probably be a 3.5 rating if I could do so. The service was fast and friendly. Close to Coney Island beach and the train which is a bonus. Downfall… no fortune cookies! I need a fortune cookie with my Chinese. Overall a pretty good spot if you want fast Chinese that’s yummy.

Typical Chinese bakery that offers buns, pastries, and bubble tea. Their coconut(«chicken tail») and shredded pork buns were standard. Good for a quick cheap bite.
