I could not believe how easy and quick it was to get an appointment. I thought seeing a good dermatologist would take months, but i was in his office in no time. I got the help that i needed and I am very happy with Dr. Perri. His nurses were so sweat and helpful.

Dr. Perri was very kind, friendly, and energetic. I recommend him to any people in need of a dermatologist in the area. His staff, however, seemed almost dull and clueless. The assistant who attended to me seemed irritated. If we made a little joke, she wouldn’t even acknowledge it and would act as if she didn’t have time for us. One of the ladies at the front desk seemed confused when we asked for a work note and almost annoyed at that fact. When the other woman at the front desk was in front of a drawer that had the blank notes, she told her to move in a slightly harsh tone. Overall, I’d give this place three stars. I would give it five, however, the lack of enthusiasm, humor, or even some sort of happiness in the staff disappointed me. The doctor, however, was fantastic.

Sad to say I had high hopes after hearing great things from more than one Dr. about this dermatologist. It appears Texas climate has wreaked havoc on my skin in many ways and after a year of struggling to get any real answers I decided to schedule with a different dermatologist since the last one took a month to get in to see. Anyhow, I call and schedule– piece of cake. I arrive early and think to myself, «sweeet! No one else is scheduled this early» WRONG. I start noticing 4 – 5 other people coming in, ALL scheduled at the same time. Hmmm. Well, when Dr finally walks in he takes a quick peak, hands me two handouts, says have a nice day and leaves. Literally spent maybe 1– 2 minutes in there, if that! No time to process his diagnosis and ask questions or anything. I spent more time with his nurse who sent in my prescription and noted extra refills on there for me. After 3 weeks of not noticing any improvement, and actually developing more problems after the ointment and shampoo he gave for my skin, I call and talk to a different nurse. She wants me to come back in– um no thanks! Two days later she calls me with a new diagnosis after talking to him about my situation, and he prescribes a new Rx. Glad to say it worked but why did it have to go that way? I’m out extra money on 3 needless rx’s when it could’ve been avoided by just spending 5 minutes asking a few questions. I don’t know, just didn’t feel like he cared about me as a patient. I work in health care and making people feel cared for is important. I don’t need you to hold my hand, just give me a few minutes of your undivided attention! A handout to explain your diagnosis? Doesn’t leave time to ask questions if you’re trying to read. Not cool. Never again. I’ll wait the month and see the Dr who gave me 15 minutes of her time.
