Extra Space Storage

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, they take care of all my needs when needed, they call to let you know when your past due to remind you instead of letting the charges add up, and the units are fine. Glad I used them, thank you.

I had 2 different climate controlled storages with them for 4 years. the last unit I was in had a problem with the insulation on the ceiling coming down and they came out to fix it twice. Then I can in and all my stuff was covered in mold! I was not happy I have a lot of my deceased mothers stuff in the storage. I talked to the assistant manager and he said they would take care of it. They took pictures and said to make a claim with the insurance that I have through them. I did that and they said it doesn’t cover mold! There was mold all over the ceiling of the unit as well. I was going to be moving out of the storage but since everything was covered in mold I couldn’t just take it all out. I asked if they could give me a month for free or something since I have to go through it all and see if anything can be saved but they never would respond! They just kept giving me the run around! I spend a lot of money to have things despised of that were not salvageable and thousands of dollars in damaged stuff as well as an extra 2 months of rent. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE if you want your stuff to come out the way you put it in! There insurance is a joke and don’t pay extra for the climate control!

We are moving and need some storage — Extra Space and Gary have been fantastic. Easy to use, easy to rent and overall feel comfortable about the pick. With all the places out there to pick — you won’t go wrong

Once I figured out the type of unit I needed, they got me checked out quickly. They were very thorough and very nice. This is our 2^nd time to rent a storage unit here. Never any problems.

Might I say, WOW.
If you are looking to being treated with respect, this is NOT the place to go. The manager was rude here, beyond anything I’ve ever been used to. We were told over the phone numerous times that there would be a truck reserved for us all day at the storage unit. We were told that there was no time we needed to be there specifically because the truck would be ours all day.
Once we got there, the old, grumpy, rude, balding, manager told us that we were silly for believing that we could show up an hour and a half after they opened and actually expect to get a truck to move with.
He told us it was our fault because we didn’t return their phone calls and mystery voice nails we NEVER received.
We promptly left and took our business to Climate Control Storage on 1097 and thank God! The women there is so sweet. HIGHLY recommend them over the man we had to deal with.
DO NOT give your money to these people. SO rude.
