Always fabulous! Great courteous staffing. I highly recommend. Great healthy food selection, reasonable prices for everyone. Wonderful food. Easy parking. Sugar free pie. Cornbread & large selection of breads. No alcohol here.

Got a veggie plate to go — good food, nice staff(a young guy named Terry served my food and was so nice), bathroom was clean — would return.

Good basic meal for Lubys. Great table service for a 15 people. Everybody’s food was good. So for Lubys, style restaurant, 5Stars.

I love Lubys and I love breakfast, but their breakfast buffet just didn’t work for me! An ok assortment –soggy bacon, over salted grits, dried out pancakes, soggy French toast and the eggs reminded me of the reconstituted scrambled eggs that I had as a kid at church camp— the price was good– $ 5.49 for adults and $ 3.99 for kids, but you get what you pay for — Lubys needs to stick with lunch and dinner…

I haven’t been to Luby’s in almost a lifetime so thought I would try it again. The food used to be tasty, but things have changed. The macaroni and cheese was extremely runny, as in macaroni floating in milk with no cheesy taste. My salad tasted okay, but the bleu cheese dressing had been diluted with milk and had the consistency of water and no flavor. The okra was not warm and wasn’t good at all. The overall plate of food was barely warm. There were 2 of us eating at 1:30 p.m. and we had to sit at a table for 8 because all the other tables needed to be cleared. Thought about taking my plate of food back to the cashier for a refund, but didn’t. I just won’t ever go back.

My daughter was in the mood to eat a restaurant where you can put food on a tray, so this was the only thing I could think of. Place looks like any other Luby’s, grab a tray, servers scoop up(literally) your food, throw onto your plate, move down the line. fill your own drink, and sit down in a place with the most generic of décor… the Toyota Camry of restaurants. The servers were all very nice though, exceptionally friendly. There were 2 waitstaff going from table to table making sure food was ok and that our drinks were never half-empty. Wish service was like this at some fancier places. Chicken fried chicken I got, was actually good. Yeah, I know, it’s processed, probably from Sysco, blah blah blah. But it was decent enough. Mac’n’cheese was good too. Don’t forget the green jello, always a crowd-pleaser. The fruit salad was disgusting though. Food here is not as salty as it was in the past which is good. Not exactly a place I would regularly eat at, but it’s a good option overall. We’ll be back next time the kiddo wants to eat on a tray.
