Papa John’s Pizza

Very good pizza every time. Good delivery times, hot and fresh pizza. Can’t complain.

When it comes to pizza, it’s pretty hard to screw it up; make sure it’s hot and delivered on time. Simple, right? Well, apparently that’s a difficult concept for this place to grasp. I placed my order at 10PM and got my confirmation email stating it would be delivered in 30 – 40 minutes. Sounds pretty good. That WOULD have been great had I received my food in 30 minutes or 45 minutes or, heck, even an hour and 15 minutes. But nope. TWO HOURS later, that’s right at midnight, I finally get a knock on my door from a guy holding 2 pizzas. You would think with all that time they would at least be hot. Nope. Cold pizza two hours after it was ordered. My bill was under $ 25. I handed the guy $ 30 expecting for him for him to give me change. Wrong again. He looks at me and says «I guess we’re good». In shock at the complete tackiness, I just said «well, I guess» and he took off. I immediately called the location and asked to speak with the manager. He couldn’t have cared less, stating their delivery times were over 2 hours for the past hour and a half. Um, ok but I ordered 2 hours ago, that would be 30 minutes before the supposed «rush». He didn’t even offer an apology for anything. This place sucks. Next time I want pizza, I’ll just build an oven out of of brick and fly an Italian in to make it for me. I’m sure it’ll be quicker.

I order pizza maybe every other month and this is the only place I get it from. The prices are no too terribly bad if you get the deals. I have never had a problem with the quality of the pizza, it has always been great! The staff seem nice enough from our interactions. But remember to request the little packets of red pepper and parm cheese because they don’t just throw them in there anymore.

Save yourself a lot of aggravation and avoid this place. I have attempted to order pizza from this location twice and it was an absolute nightmare both times. The staff is incompetent at best. The first time I thought maybe it was just an off night, but after the second time of waiting 2 ½ hours for a pizza I see that this is just a poor location. Don’t go here unless you like starving for hours only to either get a cold pizza or not one at all.
