Taco Cabana

It’s pretty sad when they forget 1 of the ingredients on a 2 ingredient taco. Ordered a bacon and egg taco, left with an egg taco. My bad for not checking my order, but I didn’t think that was too hard to fill, apparently I was incorrect.

This is without a doubt the worst place to eat in Conroe.
1: the EMPLOYEES! When you walk into this place you are not greeted, if anything you are ignored until you say something!
When your order is taken the people have attitude, don’t want to be there, and couldn’t care less about how the business looks.
2: it’s dirty! The dining area usually 3 – 4 tables are filthy.
There is ants on the floor and around the Windows. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms.
3: when going through the drive through. Majority of the time I have to pull everything out of my bag and go through it all to see if they put everything in there. Even when I ask for (cilantro, jalapeños) on the side they aren’t in there either. Enough is enough. Hire people who actually care! Hire people who will make your business look good.
Once or twice is an accident. But if every single person going through your drive through isn’t getting half their order there’s a big problem.
People are paying money for your service.
Many people I know have the same issues you are losing so much business
I will never return to this location and will keep spreading the word about how awful it is.
Sad thing is I used to be a regular.

Holy cow, How I wish practically ANYTHING other than Taco Cabana was the ONLY fast food place near my apartment! I would never pick this particular location especially by choice even if I was paid to. I used to enjoy their drive thru and staff but BOTH ARE DOWN HILL and majorly disappointing here in the past few months. What I would give for a Wendys McDonalds or Taco Bell to be walking distance frm home! That would rock!

The food from here is horrendous. The tortillas are hard almost as if they are old or have been left out. The beans are dry and old as well, the food lacks any real flavor and the service is horrible. If you order via drive thru prepare to repeat your order several times and have to stop due to being talked over. All in all avoid this place.

Went in here for a quick bite and was very satisfied. the staff was very helpful and friendly. The décor was nice and very clean atmosphere was nice also.

I’ve lived in Conroe for most of my life now. And I have to admit I used to like taco cabana. The food was somehow made differently and it tasted like actual meat. That’s not the case anymore! The food now does not taste the same. Sadly I have not had Taco Cabana in a long time because of that reason… unless I come home from a bar and nothing else is open!

The food is usually good here, we do either drive thru or take out, but yesterday was an exception, husband’s cheese enchiladas were missing the meat sauce and his plate was missing the guacamole salad, he went back and had them make him a new plate, when there the person who messed up his plate could be seen laughing about it, on the other hand my cabana bowl was good, the shell was good and crispy

Order was wrong. Men’s bathroom gross. Both outside and inside dirty with trash on the floor. The place is nicely decorated. Cleaned up with friendly service and correct orders would be great.

Food is ok but main complaint was the inside was disgusting. There are ants climbing the walls and bugs in the dinning area.

Horrible food. I ordered the supreme nachos I have had better at Taco Bell and for a lot less money too. There was a runny light yellow «cheese» sauce runny refried beans some taco meat and maybe 10 of the most stale chips I’ve ever eaten. Never again.

Just went to the drive in here. The guy taking orders was very clear, knew his stuff and was very courteous. The food was delicious and the staff was very professional. Will becoming back :)

Came here before a meeting and had really just marginal food.
The staff was nice. That was the redeeming quality here. I know not to expect too much because it’s a) a chain and b) taco cabana.
The rice was way overcooked and tasted like it had been burned, sadly because I love Spanish rice.
It was an «okay…» meal. But I prefer other fast food Mexican restaurants. The one with bells.

The drive-​thru takes forever. But my experience at this location was better than in Houstson. The chips are stale no matter what location I’ve been to.
But the tortillas are so yummy. Dip THEM in the queso instead. The black bean taco that I had was decent.
Taco Cabana with your pretty pink sign, oh how I love and hate you.
