This is my favorite chinese food place in Conshohocken! I grew up eating Golden Dragon, but Win Wah is also a great alternative. I had the caterpillar roll, the general tso’s chicken, and their miso soup. Very delicious and will be back!

Save your money, go next door or across the street. Terrible sit in service, slow, dirty, and the quality of product lacks luster. One time they prepped-vegetables next to me while I had lunch. Cough city. Establishments like this are why people get sick after eating out. Over the holiday season, we came in rather late to get some takeout, both sign and server said they were open. However after they took my order– they yelled from the back that they were closed. Went somewhere else– 30 minutes later driving back they were still open. Lights on, door open.

I’m not going to lie: I love the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Yes, you will likely get a heart attack but the crispy and light lotus flour batter-covered jumbo shrimp and mayo-based dressing complimented by honey-glazed walnuts with a bed of steamed broccoli is delicious. So sue me for choosing an artery-clogging food coma. It is worth it.

No bueno. Perfect example of when you should read reviews before going.

Very delicious! Everything is very fresh, comes out piping hot. Service is outstanding. I typically don’t like egg foo young, but like it here. We also had the Hunan chicken. Wonton soup is amazing ! And very easy on the budget.

I’ve had sushi at all different kinds of places, and this is honestly one of the few places I really did not enjoy the sushi. I would not consider myself a sushi snob, but this was really just not good. The tuna was a very unpleasant color, there was almost no taste in the spicy rolls — just not a good experience. I also ordered the garden salad with ginger dressing — the ginger dressing they served on the side in a clear container — it was very congealed and an unpleasant texture and again, not much taste. To be fair, with work I have had good chinese food takeout from here — but it was honestly one of my worst sushi experiences to date.

I’m surprised how poor quality and overpriced both the sushi and Chinese food is. You would think with such a great location on Fayette St they would try a little harder.

The Honey walnut chicken is probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It’s a must have!

I typically order out from here for sushi. It is typically very good and comes within 30 minutes. I have had some experiences where it has taken over 80 minutes for delivery. The food whether Chinese or Japanese has been of good quality every time!

A trip to Win Wah for dining in today proved to have some delicious food and nice add-ons, but this strikes me as the type of place that would be better served as a carryout location then a dine-in location. Atmosphere — Walking in was… unimpressive. I saw that both Win Wah and the restaurant next door both have Chinese/Japanese food. I went with Win Wah because the lunch specials were very affordable for the most part. Inside is a mix of drab wallpaper, fake flowers at the table, and a large fish tank with a few goldfish inside. The hard wooden booths were not very inviting either, and the chandeliers with the brass fixtures looked outdated. Other then a few lunchtime diners, place was not busy. Waitstaff — A polite waiter greeted me with hot tea and offered a menu for review. Not as conversational, brought food out on time and hot which is always important. Brought the check and brought slip back quickly too, nice work! Food — Okay, for as plain as the interior looks here, the food is awesome! Win Wah does Chinese food right. From the orange duck sauce and crisps when you sit down, to the delicious lunch portion of sesame chicken and brown rice, everything here was very delicious. I’d rather they spend money on making their food good anyway, and the things I had here were a home run. Intangibles — Have a lot of ‘clutter’ when you first walk-in, from the takeout cooler with drinks to the neon signs, to the large vases that center the fish tank, just seems like if they remove some of the clutter up front and add some TLC, they’d have a really nice dine-in location too. When I dine out for Chinese, I also like to have some sake or an Asian beer, liquor license did not exist from what I saw here. Overall — Great place for takeout, but for dining in, eh, not so much right now. The food though is hard to top and a great place for a quick lunch(my total bill with tip was less then $ 10!) Good location and Good food, just needs some interior renovation and they’ll be able to draw a much more fancy and spendy kind of crowd.

We picked up soup from Win Wah tonight. It is pretty good. As others mentions staff of not all the friendly, but for quick take out the place is fine.

This review is for how this establishment BILLS — nothing to do with the food as I cannot vouch for this. One of my bankers was traveling on business here and ordered about $ 70 worth of delivery food from Win Wah. Our company’s reimbursement policy only allows for $ 75 per diem expenses on food. Her bill came out to $ 74 and change. Granted, I know that she 100% skimped the delivery guy on a tip(which was wrong) because of this cap; she should have just paid that out of pocket. Nonetheless, am I’m going through her bills, I noticed that this establishment took it upon themselves to add $ 10 to her credit card bill for the tip. Just a note so folks can keep a look out for this.

Your basic Chinese take out. They offer sushi, but it’s not recommended vs the other local options. The staff can appear unfriendly at times, although on our our last visit, the host was very warm and accommodating.

kind of feel like i wasted most of my money on this takeout order. We got the deluxe sushi. The only sashimi that didn’t smell or taste very fishy/rancid was the three pieces of salmon. This was a 20 piece item including some kind of claw, squid, bass, yellow tail, tuna and octopus. The shrimp wasn’t super fishy but was very tough. Really feel like I wasted 20 bucks on a bunch of bad sushi. They gave me used chop sticks that had been opened and returned to the paper case. They had soy sauce all over them and had been torn apart already. Lucky for me I have reusable ones at home and I’m not a germaphobe, but really? The service was great, a cute little place and a mindful hardworking host. Everyone sitting down had what appeared to be cooked Chinese dishes so maybe that is more their strength? That’s got to be it. The miso soup had a conspicuous amount of fish sauce in it that I felt took away from it. The crunchy noodles are out of this world! Very skimpy with their spicy mayo side, it was good but wow, could you spare a little more? Two stars because most of our lunch went in the trash. Stick to what you do best, win wah which appears to be Chinese.

Coworker and I went here for lunch the other day. pretty good! Typical Chinese delicious food — fried wonton chips and duck sauce on the table. Tea served in a teapot. Lunch specials come with soup or egg roll and a meal. Sweet and sour soup is good, General Tso’s chicken is more on the spicy side here. Good stuff!

Have gotten delivery many times and have been happy with our food. Great crab rangoon. Great wonton soup. Good pork fried rice. Great sushi. We dined-in yesterday and the food was pretty good… Have hot tea and«crunchies» on the table and their combo platters are priced very well. But the service was FANTASTIC! 5 stars! One of the nicest, most attentive waitresses I have ever had. Would definitely go back!

When I need a quick bite to eat and I don’t really want fast food I come here. It’s the best Chinese takeout I have found in the area so far

Attitude alone is unbearable. If anywhere else delivered sushi I would order tree instead. So rude on the phone and in person! Not to mention that they didn’t even have a sushi chef there for like two years!!! HELLOOOO?! Do you not want business? I can only hope the sushi I just ordered makes up for the attitude over the phone. Tip: fire that guy.

I got carry out from here yesterday and I can say that I honestly wasn’t impressed. I basically was craving general tso’s bean curd and can safely say this place did not measure up. The only reason I went is because it is the closest American Chinese place near my office. It seemed like the lunch special was a good deal(around 6 dollars for bean curd, pork fried rice, and egg drop soup) but after tasting the bean curd I can say that I mostly paid for sustenance, and nothing more.
