Rosie did our flowers for our wedding and we could not have been happier! She is super nice and helpful and I have to say, my bouquet was the prettiest I have ever seen way better than I could of imagined! Thank you again!

I mistakenly ordered through a «online delivery service» 24 sterling roses and 24 spray roses… what arrived at my door WAS NOTHING like the photo. The owner of Cool Florist came into my home looked at what I ordered and shook her head… When I told her I paid $ 121.95 for this she was outraged. Ready to lose my mind because I have to have 5 wedding bouquet ready in 27 hours… she got on her phone called her distributor 40 miles away (who was closed for inventory) and arranged for me to pick up the flowers. The owner was so sweet and kind. She saved my arse and my sister in laws wedding flowers. I can’t say enough thanks to repay her. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I am a small business owner and know what it takes to offer quality at a fair price. Cool Florist does an outstanding job. I am writing this review partially in response to the the review that sylvia k left which surprises me. If you look at the date of her review you will see that her birthday fell very close to Valentines Day, a time of year that flowers, especially roses, are notoriously overpriced. This is probably not the fault of the florists but rather of the suppliers. Supply & demand…
Too bad sylvia k did not think of that before she left her review. I hope she reconsiders boycotting this shop. Cool has so little to offer it’s inhabitants and it would be a shame to lose this charming old-​fashioned florist & gift shop.

My wife has spent $$$ over the last 3 years for 3 weddings. These folks come through and the price is fair even though a remote location. We have found if you work with cool florist they will work with you. My only minor gripe is they get stinging on parking with other local business’s. All business needs to feed on one another. This is not a deduction in stars, its meant to be a constructive consideration.

I’m always about supporting local businesses, specially here in our little wonderful town Cool, but when it comes to this shop, I no longer will. The owner of this shop should be ashamed of the outrageous prices of her overwhelming assortment of trinklets, but more for the prices of her flowers. My husband gave me 12 pink roses for my birthday yesterday and he paid $ 75!!! Seriously? Nothing too it, cheap looking $ 3 vase and 3 stems of pathetic looking greens. She’s partner with teleflora and FTD but not even on their websites you pay that much or at least get a wonderful looking bouquet. And mine wasn’t even delivered. So very sad! Plus this morning the heads of the roses are already hanging so they weren’t even fresh. So in this economy a big rip off !!

They do have everything you need for last minute birthdays for adults and older children. Lots of trinkets and jewelry and unique items too… Flowers are fresh and my Aunt (Who lives in Cool) loves this store. I like it alot too!

You must stop by this shop if you are traveling thru Cool on your way to Auburn or Placerville. They have wonderful chocolates! If you are trying to find that special gift for that hard to find person, this the shop. They have everything in such a small shop. You won’t be sorry!
