The link attached to this review is incorrect. However I go here every month for a massage… they are professional, clean, and very nice people. Best deep tissue for the price anywhere in the DFW area!

Have had facials on a pretty regular basis for last 15 years or so. This was very bad in my opinion. Place looks nice enough, room was a little messy though. But as long as the facial was okay that would have been fine. Let me see… this is how it went… very light scrub done. slap slap slap face… something that smelled like alcohol spritzed on face… slap slap slap slap face… a whopping three extractions done on nose(did not even look at other areas to see if I needed them… which I clearly did!) slap slap slap slap face… left me in room with mask on… came back… slap slap… wipe mask off… slap slap slap slap slap face some more. There was a little short arm massage and a little neck massage done but nothing like what I have gotten at other places. And honestly I was so stinking tired of the constant and continual SLAPPING I was so irritated I just wanted out of there! Before she left the room she was wanting me to sit up so she could wipe any oils off the back of my neck. I tried to explain I had just had a c section and needed to kind of roll up, not bolt straight up. Of course she had no idea what I was talking about so it was pointless. Overall, people seem nice enough but service was just nothing at all what I have had in past with other places. I honestly feel I would have come out better doing one at home myself. This was the first time I had been out since my surgery and sadly this was a bad day. It was the most UN-RELAXING facial I have ever had.

I’ve had a couple European facials over the years at Forever Young Spa and have wanted to try microdermabrasion. I made an appointment with Ms. Young and upon walking in the doors, noticed they had redecorated everything. It’s gorgeous and very upscale looking. Ms. Young was waiting for me, took me to the room and gave me an elasticized robe. I put that on and laid down on a cushiony, padded, heated table with a sheet and quilt. She came in and explained everything to me. She gave me a glycolic peel and did extractions. She showed me what the microdermabrasion would feel like on my hand, then proceeded to do my face(I don’t remember all the different stuff she put on me, but it was very thorough). She also gave me a green tea mask that was wonderful! While the mask was on, she took hot towels and massaged each arm and leg, one at a time. After the hot towel, she would use scented massage oil and gave me the most wonderful, relaxing massage on my back, upper chest, each arm from shoulder to tips of fingers, and each leg from the knee to my feet. Then cocooned me in blankets and left me to relax in the dark room. For the same price as a massage elsewhere, I got pampered and massaged PLUS had microdermabrasion! Amazing deal! The day I had it done, my face looked a little sunburned. The next day, I wore makeup and the redness was minimal. The day after, I noticed slight peeling around my nose and chin. I gently exfoliated those areas and my face feels smooth and my pores are smaller. I’m going to do the series of 5 or 6 and see how it is then. I’ll post an updated review after I do the series. Ms. Young is amazing. I highly recommend her.
