Walked in and took by surprise. This place has a lovely ambience and the staff are helpful and friendly! The cakes and pastries looked fresh and smelt delicious. We both got the hot chocolate which was also available with white chocolate instead if preferred. The option was dark or sweet which is something that I’ve never come across before but appreciated. Situated in a nice area of coral gables and is easily accessible. Let’s just say, we are coming back for a second hot chocolate soon!

Best coffee in miami hands down. My go to is the Frappé Leo. Their sandwiches are delicious, my girlfriend always gets the italian hero. The lemon chicken pasta is good. Their desserts are really good too. The service is okay except when i get the one guy that works there. He is really good and attentive and takes his time to explain the menu.

Ah I love this spot. It always brings me joy to pop into this café. They have delicious sandwiches, yummy coffee and desserts. It’s located in Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables. You can’t miss the building. It’s on a corner and it is a very unique style as compared to the surrounding buildings.
They recently renovated the café and expanded the area where they take orders, which is fantastic since sometimes the line would go out the door during the lunch rush.
The Café Demetrio coffee is hands down the best coffee in Coral Gables. My suggestion is ordering the prosciutto sandwich and the Café Demetrio coffee. You won’t regret your lunch.

I am so happy I finally visited this hidden gem in the Gables. Café Demetrio offers a great selection for breakfast/​brunch/​lunch and has become a MUST for me. If you stop by for breakfast on the weekends, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of eggs, breakfast sandwiches, pastries and more.
I ordered an omelette and it came with a side of a french mini baguette and coffee. I made sure to make mine a latte (no extra charge), and it was absolutely delicious! Everything tastes fresh and they really carter to you. You will definitely get a bang for your buck! My omelette was so big I could barely finish! Mmm. I love this place! I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve been coming to this lovely coffee house for years. I love the outdoor sitting area and parking is never a hassle. On this particular visit, I ordered a Latte, Americano, and a Tiramisu. I paid and went to wait outside. We waited almost 20 mins before I go back inside to ask about the order… which was never prepared. Immediately they went inside to prepare and in almost 5 mins, my order comes out, and the waitress apologizes saying the machine didn’t print out the order. The coffee is extremely good, as well as the desserts. The employee who originally took my order comes out to apologize again and hands me a gift card for $ 10 for the inconvenience. I gave her my thanks… I was not expecting this, but it’s always appreciated.

Love this little place. Enjoy coffee and little pastry in the back seating area. Also they do have a live music on Friday night. Very lovely. Good location easy to find parking.

I’ve been here a few times and they keep improving each time I come. They have renovated the place since the last time I came. The coffee bar is old school wooden bar with brass espresso equipment relics displayed. The baristas use nice new modern equipment.
I have three requirements for a café: Clean/​solid tables, lots of power outlets, and good WiFi, Café Demetrio has all three. The coffee isn’t impressive to be honest however the fact they have servers coming around and refilling glasses of water and coffee on the table makes up for it. Service is great.
I think I will try out there food menu next time I come!

Lovely café in the heart of coral gables. They have amazing coffee that they decorate with hearts and even bunnies! Very nice and quiet place to study/​work. I asked for the chocolate gelato and do not regret it! Great flavors combined with nuts and powdered chocolate. Not too sweet. Just perfect.

This is a wonderful café in Coral Gables, FL. It’s wood panels, wood tables, chandeliers, paintings and piano beautifully recreate an Old World café ambience. The coffee is also excellent!

Service is terrible (server was good though), but the ambience was nice. It’s a very convenient location and the food was pleasant. We had a classique # 2 and a spinach quiche.

Demetrios is a coral gables staple. At least for me it is. I’ve been going here since I started working in the area. They have very good food options and their coffee is very good. I have to say that my favorite thing here is the way it’s designed and the outdoor seating area. When I think of a coffee shop this is what I envision. It’s so pretty and sophisticated. If you’ve never been here it’s worth the stop. :) I love the mocha coffees. So good!!!

Amazing hidden cozy gem hidden in the middle of coral gables. Typical breakfast, affordable and delicious.

This place has the most amazing iced-​chocolate mocha. Have one and it will change your life. (Remember you read that.) They serve food here as well. Great chicken empanadas. Gets busy during lunch hours but service is good here.

Must have the white chocolate latte, for 3.50 $ the absolute best coffee you will ever have. I am completely obsessed !!

Looking for a coffeeshop in the Gables? This is the place to go. I have been wanting to check this place out for years, and in finally made it!
I tried they recommended café demetrio coffee, with the heart on top. It was delicious, but a little on the sweet side for me. If you like your coffee sweet, then I recommend you try it.
Sat outside on a beautiful Miami day and it felt like I was somewhere in Paris. The courtyard they have in the back with tables in seating is definitely the recommended place to go while enjoying your coffee and pastry.

This Café was an amazing find. We were actually on our way looking for a Starbucks, but as a small business supporter, spotted this gem along the way! The building looks like it belongs in Italy. Lovely, large outdoor seating with vines up the walls and iron tables and chairs.
Not only was the atmosphere comforting and different from the usual Miami, but the baristas were very accommodating. We didn’t know they closed 10 minutes before our arrival, but we couldn’t even tell because ether were more than happy to serve us.
I ordered the iced café mocha and my boyfriend the cappuccino. The drinks came with hearts on the steamed milk which I loved because the little things excite me! Also the Napoleon was a delicious caramel-​covered treat that we split. Too perfect! We loved it, and will be back for more!

I found my way to many coffee shops during my recent 24 hours in Miami and this was a good one. They made me a VERY large and delicious ice latte, which I definitely needed after a 3 hour flight with my 3 year-​old. Anyone could use a cup of coffee after 3 hours of frozen, mickey mouse clubhouse, etc.
I was also famished. The tomato/​mozzarella sandwich caught my eye, but my colleague said it was just so-so…and so I ordered the hummus platter instead. I picked right because I ate up every last bite of the warm, soft pita and tasty hummus. They were a bit slow when it came to taking my order, but fortunately the coffee and food arrived at my table rather quickly.
We made this our office for a few hours and had everything we needed: coffee, food, a relatively quiet atmosphere, and free wifi (with a password).
I’d definitely schedule meetings here again in the future or just come back to get a bit of work done when in the Coral Gables area.
